| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |
| 1. [77:38] | Hatha yawmu alfasli jamaAAnakumwaal-awwaleena |  هذا يوم الفصل جمعناكم والأولينهَذَا يَوْمُ الْفَصْلِ جَمَعْنَاكُمْ وَالْأَوَّلِينَ | |||||

| Tahir ul Qadri | یہ فیصلے کا دن ہے (جس میں) ہم تمہیں اور (سب) پہلے لوگوں کو جمع کریں گے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | That will be a Day of Sorting out! We shall gather you together and those before (you)!

| Tahir ul Qadri | تو اللہ نے اسے آخرت اور دنیا کی (دوہری) سزا میں پکڑ لیا | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | But Allah did punish him, (and made an) example of him, - in the Hereafter, as in this life.

[65:4] | Waalla-ee ya-isna mina almaheedimin nisa-ikum ini irtabtum faAAiddatuhunna thalathatuashhurin waalla-ee lam yahidna waolatual-ahmali ajaluhunna an yadaAAna hamlahunnawaman yattaqi Allaha yajAAal lahu min amrihi yusran | واللائي يئسن من المحيض من نسائكم إن ارتبتم فعدتهن ثلاثة أشهر واللائي لم يحضن وأولات الأحمال أجلهن أن يضعن حملهن ومن يتق الله يجعل له من أمره يسرا وَاللَّائِي يَئِسْنَ مِنَ الْمَحِيضِ مِن نِّسَائِكُمْ إِنِ ارْتَبْتُمْ فَعِدَّتُهُنَّ ثَلَاثَةُ أَشْهُرٍ وَاللَّائِي لَمْ يَحِضْنَ وَأُوْلَاتُ الْأَحْمَالِ أَجَلُهُنَّ أَن يَضَعْنَ حَمْلَهُنَّ وَمَن يَتَّقِ اللَّهَ يَجْعَل لَّهُ مِنْ أَمْرِهِ يُسْرًا | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اور تمہاری عورتوں میں سے جو حیض سے مایوس ہو چکی ہوں اگر تمہیں شک ہو (کہ اُن کی عدّت کیا ہوگی) تو اُن کی عدّت تین مہینے ہے اور وہ عورتیں جنہیں (ابھی) حیض نہیں آیا (ان کی بھی یہی عدّت ہے)، اور حاملہ عورتیں (تو) اُن کی عدّت اُن کا وضعِ حمل ہے، اور جو شخص اللہ سے ڈرتا ہے (تو) وہ اس کے کام میں آسانی فرما دیتا ہے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Such of your women as have passed the age of monthly courses, for them the prescribed period, if ye have any doubts, is three months, and for those who have no courses (it is the same): for those who carry (life within their wombs), their period is until they deliver their burdens: and for those who fear Allah, He will make their path easy.

[65:6] | Askinoohunna min haythu sakantum minwujdikum wala tudarroohunna litudayyiqooAAalayhinna wa-in kunna olati hamlin faanfiqooAAalayhinna hatta yadaAAna hamlahunnafa-in ardaAAna lakum faatoohunna ojoorahunnawa/tamiroo baynakum bimaAAroofin wa-in taAAasartum fasaturdiAAulahu okhra | أسكنوهن من حيث سكنتم من وجدكم ولا تضاروهن لتضيقوا عليهن وإن كن أولات حمل فأنفقوا عليهن حتى يضعن حملهن فإن أرضعن لكم فآتوهن أجورهن وأتمروا بينكم بمعروف وإن تعاسرتم فسترضع له أخرى أَسْكِنُوهُنَّ مِنْ حَيْثُ سَكَنتُم مِّن وُجْدِكُمْ وَلَا تُضَارُّوهُنَّ لِتُضَيِّقُوا عَلَيْهِنَّ وَإِن كُنَّ أُولَاتِ حَمْلٍ فَأَنفِقُوا عَلَيْهِنَّ حَتَّى يَضَعْنَ حَمْلَهُنَّ فَإِنْ أَرْضَعْنَ لَكُمْ فَآتُوهُنَّ أُجُورَهُنَّ وَأْتَمِرُوا بَيْنَكُم بِمَعْرُوفٍ وَإِن تَعَاسَرْتُمْ فَسَتُرْضِعُ لَهُ أُخْرَى | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | تم اُن (مطلّقہ) عورتوں کو وہیں رکھو جہاں تم اپنی وسعت کے مطابق رہتے ہو اور انہیں تکلیف مت پہنچاؤ کہ اُن پر (رہنے کا ٹھکانا) تنگ کر دو، اور اگر وہ حاملہ ہوں تو اُن پر خرچ کرتے رہو یہاں تک کہ وہ اپنا بچہ جَن لیں، پھر اگر وہ تمہاری خاطر (بچے کو) دودھ پلائیں تو انہیں اُن کا معاوضہ ادا کرتے رہو، اور آپس میں (ایک دوسرے سے) نیک بات کا مشورہ (حسبِ دستور) کر لیا کرو، اور اگر تم باہم دشواری محسوس کرو تو اسے (اب کوئی) دوسری عورت دودھ پلائے گی | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Let the women live (in 'iddat) in the same style as ye live, according to your means: Annoy them not, so as to restrict them. And if they carry (life in their wombs), then spend (your substance) on them until they deliver their burden: and if they suckle your (offspring), give them their recompense: and take mutual counsel together, according to what is just and reasonable. And if ye find yourselves in difficulties, let another woman suckle (the child) on the (father's) behalf.

| Tahir ul Qadri | جب اس پر ہماری آیتیں پڑھ کر سنائی جاتی ہیں تو کہتا (یا سمجھتا) ہے کہ (یہ تو) اگلے لوگوں کی کہانیاں ہیں | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | When Our Signs are rehearsed to him, he says, "Tales of the ancients!"

| Yousuf Ali | And this is in the Books of the earliest (Revelation),-

| Yousuf Ali | And verily unto Us (belong) the End and the Beginning.

| Tahir ul Qadri | اور بیشک (ہر) بعد کی گھڑی آپ کے لئے پہلے سے بہتر (یعنی باعثِ عظمت و رفعت) ہے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | And verily the Hereafter will be better for thee than the present.
