[11:17] | Afaman kana AAala bayyinatinmin rabbihi wayatloohu shahidun minhu wamin qablihi kitabumoosa imaman warahmatan ola-ikayu/minoona bihi waman yakfur bihi mina al-ahzabi faalnnarumawAAiduhu fala taku fee miryatin minhu innahu alhaqqumin rabbika walakinna akthara alnnasi layu/minoona |  أفمن كان على بينة من ربه ويتلوه شاهد منه ومن قبله كتاب موسى إماما ورحمة أولئك يؤمنون به ومن يكفر به من الأحزاب فالنار موعده فلا تك في مرية منه إنه الحق من ربك ولكن أكثر الناس لا يؤمنونأَفَمَن كَانَ عَلَى بَيِّنَةٍ مِّن رَّبِّهِ وَيَتْلُوهُ شَاهِدٌ مِّنْهُ وَمِن قَبْلِهِ كِتَابُ مُوسَى إَمَامًا وَرَحْمَةً أُوْلَـئِكَ يُؤْمِنُونَ بِهِ وَمَن يَكْفُرْ بِهِ مِنَ الْأَحْزَابِ فَالنَّارُ مَوْعِدُهُ فَلاَ تَكُ فِي مِرْيَةٍ مِّنْهُ إِنَّهُ الْحَقُّ مِن رَّبِّكَ وَلَـكِنَّ أَكْثَرَ النَّاسِ لاَ يُؤْمِنُونَ | |||||

| Tahir ul Qadri | وہ شخص جو اپنے رب کی طرف سے روشن دلیل پر ہے اور اﷲ کی جانب سے ایک گواہ (قرآن) بھی اس شخص کی تائید و تقویت کے لئے آگیا ہے اور اس سے قبل موسٰی (علیہ السلام) کی کتاب (تورات) بھی جو رہنما اور رحمت تھی (آچکی ہو) یہی لوگ اس (قرآن) پر ایمان لاتے ہیں، کیا (یہ) اور (کافر) فرقوں میں سے وہ شخص جو اس (قرآن) کا منکر ہے (برابر ہوسکتے ہیں) جبکہ آتشِ دوزخ اس کا ٹھکانا ہے، سو (اے سننے والے!) تجھے چاہئے کہ تو اس سے متعلق ذرا بھی شک میں نہ رہے، بیشک یہ (قرآن) تیرے رب کی طرف سے حق ہے لیکن اکثر لوگ ایمان نہیں لاتے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Can they be (like) those who accept a Clear (Sign) from their Lord, and whom a witness from Himself doth teach, as did the Book of Moses before it,- a guide and a mercy? They believe therein; but those of the Sects that reject it,- the Fire will be their promised meeting-place. Be not then in doubt thereon: for it is the truth from thy Lord: yet many among men do not believe!

| Shabbir Ahmed | بھلا وہ لوگ جو رکھتے ہوں روشن دلیل اپنے رب کی طرف سے اور آ جائے اُس کے ساتھ ایک گواہ بھی اللہ کی طرف سے اور اس سے پہلے موسیٰ کی کتاب، رہنمائی اور رحمت کے لیے (آ چکی تھی کیا ایسے لوگ قرآن کا انکار کر سکتے ہیں،نہیں بلکہ) یہ تو ایمان لائیں گے اس پر اور جو انکار کرے گا اس کا گروہوں میں سے تو آگ ہے اُس کا ٹھکانا پس نہ پڑنا تم کسی شک میں اس کے بارے میں، یقیناً یہ حق ہے تمہارے رب کی طرف سے لیکن (پھر بھی) بہت سے انسان ایمان نہیں لاتے۔ | ||||||
| Fateh Muhammad Jalandhary | بھلا جو لوگ اپنے پروردگار کی طرف سے (روشن) دلیل رکھتے ہوں اور ان کے ساتھ ایک (آسمانی) گواہ بھی اس کی جانب سے ہو اور اس سے پہلے موسیٰ کی کتاب ہو جو پیشوا اور رحمت ہے (تو کیا وہ قرآن پر ایمان نہیں لائیں گے) یہی لوگ اس پر ایمان لاتے ہیں اور جو کوئی اور فرقوں میں سے اس سے منکر ہو تو اس کا ٹھکانہ آگ ہے۔ تو تم اس (قرآن) سے شک میں نہ ہونا۔ یہ تمہارے پروردگار کی طرف سے حق ہے لیکن اکثر لوگ ایمان نہیں لاتے | ||||||
| Mehmood Al Hassan | بھلا ایک شخص جو ہے صاف رستہ پر اپنے رب کے اور اس کے ساتھ ساتھ ہے ایک گواہ اللہ کی طرف سے اور اس سے پہلے گواہ تھی موسٰی کی کتاب رستہ بتلاتی اور بخشواتی (اورونکی برابر ہے) یہی لوگ مانتے ہیں قرآن کو اور جو کوئی منکر ہو اس سے سب فرقوں میں سےسو دوزخ ہے ٹھک | ||||||
| Abul Ala Maududi | پھر بھلا وہ شخص جو اپنے رب کی طرف سے ایک صاف شہادت رکھتا تھا، اس کے بعد ایک گواہ بھی پروردگار کی طرف سے (اس شہادت کی تائید میں) آ گیا، اور پہلے موسیٰؑ کی کتاب رہنما اور رحمت کے طور پر آئی ہوئی بھی موجود تھی (کیا وہ بھی دنیا پرستوں کی طرح اس سے انکار کرسکتا ہے؟) ایسے لوگ تو اس پر ایمان ہی لائیں گے اور انسانی گروہوں میں سے جو کوئی اس کا انکار کرے تو اس کے لیے جس جگہ کا وعدہ ہے وہ دوزخ ہے پس اے پیغمبرؐ، تم اِس چیز کی طرف سے کسی شک میں نہ پڑنا، یہ حق ہے تمہارے رب کی طرف سے مگر اکثر لوگ نہیں مانتے | ||||||

| Literal | Is who was on an evidence from his Lord, and he reads/recites/follows it a witness/testifier from Him, and from before him/it Moses' Book a leader/clear road/an example and a mercy? Those believe with it, and who disbelieves from the groups/parties with Him/it, so the fire (is) his appointment/promise, so do not be in doubt from it, that it is the truth from your Lord, and but most of the people do not believe. | ||||||

It is certainly the truth from your Lord, yet many people do not have faith. | ||||||

| Hilali/Khan** | Can they (Muslims) who rely on a clear proof (the Quran) from their Lord, and whom a witness (Prophet Muhammad SAW through Jibrael (Gabriel )) from Him follows it (can they be equal with the disbelievers); and before it, came the Book of Moosa (Moses), a guidance and a mercy, they believe therein, but those of the sects (Jews, Christians and all the other non-Muslim nations) that reject it (the Quran), the Fire will be their promised meeting-place. So be not in doubt about it (i.e. those who denied Prophet Muhammad SAW and also denied all that which he brought from Allah, surely, they will enter Hell). Verily, it is the truth from your Lord, but most of the mankind believe not. | ||||||
| QXP Shabbir Ahemd** | Contrary to such people is the one who has truly seen his Lord's Signs in the Universe. Now he has the Prophet as a witness, who correlates Allah's Signs in the Universe with His Messages. And before this, the Scripture of Moses has set a precedent and graceful guidance. (It foretold the advent of the final Messenger; Deuteronomy 18:15-18). Such people will surely attain belief. As for those who league together in rejection of such obvious Truth, the Fire is their appointed place. Harbor not any doubt; verily this is the Truth from your Sustainer. But the majority of mankind do not believe. | ||||||
