Qala ya qawmi araaytum inkuntu AAala bayyinatin min rabbee waataneerahmatan min AAindihi faAAummiyat AAalaykum anulzimukumoohawaantum laha karihoona قال يا قوم أرأيتم إن كنت على بينة من ربي وآتاني رحمة من عنده فعميت عليكم أنلزمكموها وأنتم لها كارهون
قَالَ يَا قَوْمِ أَرَأَيْتُمْ إِن كُنتُ عَلَى بَيِّنَةٍ مِّن رَّبِّيَ وَآتَانِي رَحْمَةً مِّنْ عِندِهِ فَعُمِّيَتْ عَلَيْكُمْ أَنُلْزِمُكُمُوهَا وَأَنتُمْ لَهَا كَارِهُونَ
Tahir ul Qadri

  (نوح علیہ السلام نے) کہا: اے میری قوم! بتاؤ تو سہی اگر میں اپنے رب کی طرف سے روشن دلیل پر بھی ہوں اور اس نے مجھے اپنے حضور سے (خاص) رحمت بھی بخشی ہو مگر وہ تمہارے اوپر (اندھوں کی طرح) پوشیدہ کر دی گئی ہو، تو کیا ہم اسے تم پر جبراً مسلّط کر سکتے ہیں درآنحالیکہ تم اسے ناپسند کرتے ہو

Yousuf AliHe said: "O my people! See ye if (it be that) I have a Clear Sign from my Lord, and that He hath sent Mercy unto me from His own presence, but that the Mercy hath been obscured from your sight? shall we compel you to accept it when ye are averse to it?

Ahmed Aliاس نے کہا اے میری قوم دیکھو تو اگر میں اپنے رب کی طرف سے صاف راستہ پر ہوں اور اس نے مجھ پر اپنے ہاں سے رحمت بھیجی ہو پھر وہ تمہیں دکھائی نہ دے تو کیا میں زبردستی تمہارے گلے مڑھ دوں اور تم اس سے نفرت کرتے ہو
Ahmed Raza Khanبولا اے میری قوم! بھلا بتاؤ تو اگر میں اپنے رب کی طرف سے دلیل پر ہوں اور اس نے مجھے اپنے پاس سے رحمت بخشی تو تم اس سے اندھے رہے، کیا ہم اسے تمہارے گلے چپیٹ (چپکا) دیں اور تم بیزار ہو
Shabbir Ahmed فرمایا: اے میری قوم! ذرا سوچو تو اگر قائم ہوں میں ایک کھُلی شہادت پر اپنے رب کی طرف سے اور دی اُس نے مجھ اپنی رحمت بطورِ خاص اندھا رکھا گیا ہو (اس سے) تمہیں تو کہا ہم اس کے لیے مجبور کر سکتے ہیں تم کو؟ جبکہ تم اس کو ناپسند کرتے ہو۔
Fateh Muhammad Jalandharyانہوں نے کہا کہ اے قوم! دیکھو تو اگر میں اپنے پروردگار کی طرف سے دلیل (روشن) رکھتا ہوں اور اس نے مجھے اپنے ہاں سے رحمت بخشی ہو جس کی حقیقت تم سے پوشیدہ رکھی گئی ہے۔ تو کیا ہم اس کے لیے تمہیں مجبور کرسکتے ہیں اور تم ہو کہ اس سے ناخوش ہو رہے ہو
Mehmood Al Hassanبولا اے قوم دیکھو تو اگر میں ہوں صاف راستہ پر اپنے رب کے اور اس نے بھیجی مجھ پر رحمت اپنے پاس سے پھر اس کو تمہاری آنکھ سے مخفی رکھا تو کیا ہم تم کو مجبور کر سکتے ہیں اس پر اور تم اس سے بیزا ہو
Abul Ala Maududiاس نے کہا "اے برادران قوم، ذرا سوچو تو سہی کہ اگر میں اپنے رب کی طرف سے ایک کھلی شہادت پر قائم تھا اور پھر اس نے مجھ کو اپنی خاص رحمت سے بھی نواز دیا مگر وہ تم کو نظر نہ آئی تو آخر ہمارے پاس کیا ذریعہ ہے کہ تم ماننا نہ چاہو اور ہم زبردستی اس کو تمہارے سر چپیک دیں؟

Arberry He said, 'O my people, what think you? If I stand upon a clear sign from my Lord, and He has given me mercy from Him, and it has been obscured for you, shall we compel you to it while you are averse to it?
ShakirHe said: O my people! tell me if I have with me clear proof from my Lord, and He has granted me mercy from Himself and it has been made obscure to you; shall we constrain you to (accept) it while you are averse from it?
SarwarNoah replied, "My people do you think - that if my Lord has sent me a miracle and granted me mercy but your ignorance has obscured them from your sight - we can force you to believe when you do not want to?.

MalikHe said: "O my people, look! If I am given clear proof from my Lord, and He has bestowed on me His grace, although it be hidden from you, can we compel you to accept it against your will?[28]

QXP Shabbir Ahemd**Noah said, "O My people! Bethink! What if I am taking my stand on clear evidence from my Lord? What if He has blessed me out of His Grace of guidance? It is obscure to you because you are not seeing it through the eyes of reason. In any case, can we compel you to accept what you don't like?"
