| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[11:5] | Ala innahum yathnoona sudoorahumliyastakhfoo minhu ala heena yastaghshoona thiyabahumyaAAlamu ma yusirroona wama yuAAlinoona innahuAAaleemun bithati alssudoori |  ألا إنهم يثنون صدورهم ليستخفوا منه ألا حين يستغشون ثيابهم يعلم ما يسرون وما يعلنون إنه عليم بذات الصدورأَلاَ إِنَّهُمْ يَثْنُونَ صُدُورَهُمْ لِيَسْتَخْفُواْ مِنْهُ أَلا حِينَ يَسْتَغْشُونَ ثِيَابَهُمْ يَعْلَمُ مَا يُسِرُّونَ وَمَا يُعْلِنُونَ إِنَّهُ عَلِيمٌ بِذَاتِ الصُّدُورِ | |||||

| Tahir ul Qadri | جان لو! بیشک وہ (کفار) اپنے سینوں کو دُہرا کر لیتے ہیں تاکہ وہ اس (خدا) سے (اپنے دلوں کا حال) چھپا سکیں، خبردار! جس وقت وہ اپنے کپڑے (جسموں پر) اوڑھ لیتے ہیں (تو اس وقت بھی) وہ ان سب باتوں کو جانتا ہے جو وہ چھپاتے ہیں اور جو وہ آشکار کرتے ہیں، بیشک وہ سینوں کی (پوشیدہ) باتوں کو خوب جاننے والا ہے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Behold! they fold up their hearts, that they may lie hid from Him! Ah even when they cover themselves with their garments, He knoweth what they conceal, and what they reveal: for He knoweth well the (inmost secrets) of the hearts.

| Literal | Is it not that they truly fold/bend/double/twist (hide) their chests (innermosts) to hide from Him?
