Falamma raa aydiyahum latasilu ilayhi nakirahum waawjasa minhum kheefatan qaloola takhaf inna orsilna ila qawmi lootin فلما رأى أيديهم لا تصل إليه نكرهم وأوجس منهم خيفة قالوا لا تخف إنا أرسلنا إلى قوم لوط
فَلَمَّا رَأَى أَيْدِيَهُمْ لاَ تَصِلُ إِلَيْهِ نَكِرَهُمْ وَأَوْجَسَ مِنْهُمْ خِيفَةً قَالُواْ لاَ تَخَفْ إِنَّا أُرْسِلْنَا إِلَى قَوْمِ لُوطٍ

  پھر جب (ابراہیم علیہ السلام نے) دیکھا کہ ان کے ہاتھ اس (کھانے) کی طرف نہیں بڑھ رہے تو انہیں اجنبی سمجھا اور (اپنے) دل میں ان سے کچھ خوف محسوس کرنے لگے، انہوں نے کہا: آپ مت ڈریئے! ہم قومِ لوط کی طرف بھیجے گئے ہیں

Yousuf AliBut when he saw their hands went not towards the (meal), he felt some mistrust of them, and conceived a fear of them. They said: "Fear not: We have been sent against the people of Lut."

Ahmed Aliپھر جب دیکھا کہ ان کے ہاتھ اس تک نہیں پہنچتے تو انہیں اجنبی سمجھا اوران سے ڈرا انہوں نے کہا خوف نہ کرو ہم تو لوط کی قوم کی طرف بھیجحے گئے ہیں

Fateh Muhammad Jalandharyجب دیکھا کہ ان کے ہاتھ کھانے کی طرف نہیں جاتے (یعنی وہ کھانا نہیں کھاتے) تو ان کو اجنبی سمجھ کر دل میں خوف کیا۔ (فرشتوں نے) کہا کہ خوف نہ کیجیے، ہم قوم لوط کی طرف (ان کے ہلاک کرنے کو) بھیجے گئے ہیں
Mehmood Al Hassanپھر جب دیکھا ان کے ہاتھ نہیں آتے کھانے پر تو کھٹکا اور دل میں ان سے ڈرا وہ بولے مت ڈر ہم بھیجے ہوئے آئے ہیں طرف قوم لوط کی
Abul Ala Maududiمگر جب دیکھا کہ ان کے ہاتھ کھانے پر نہیں بڑھتے تو وہ ان سے مشتبہ ہو گیا اور دل میں ان سے خوف محسوس کرنے لگا اُنہوں نے کہا "ڈرو نہیں، ہم تو لوطؑ کی قوم کی طرف بھیجے گئے ہیں"
