Warawadat-hu allatee huwa fee baytihaAAan nafsihi waghallaqati al-abwaba waqalat haytalaka qala maAAatha Allahi innahu rabbee ahsanamathwaya innahu la yuflihu alththalimoona وراودته التي هو في بيتها عن نفسه وغلقت الأبواب وقالت هيت لك قال معاذ الله إنه ربي أحسن مثواي إنه لا يفلح الظالمون
وَرَاوَدَتْهُ الَّتِي هُوَ فِي بَيْتِهَا عَن نَّفْسِهِ وَغَلَّقَتِ الْأَبْوَابَ وَقَالَتْ هَيْتَ لَكَ قَالَ مَعَاذَ اللّهِ إِنَّهُ رَبِّي أَحْسَنَ مَثْوَايَ إِنَّهُ لاَ يُفْلِحُ الظَّالِمُونَ

  اور اس عورت (زلیخا) نے جس کے گھر وہ رہتے تھے آپ سے آپ کی ذات کی شدید خواہش کی اور اس نے دروازے (بھی) بند کر دیئے اور کہنے لگی: جلدی آجاؤ (میں تم سے کہتی ہوں)۔ یوسف (علیہ السلام) نے کہا: اﷲ کی پناہ! بیشک وہ (جو تمہارا شوہر ہے) میرا مربّی ہے اس نے مجھے بڑی عزت سے رکھا ہے۔ بیشک ظالم لوگ فلاح نہیں پائیں گے

Yousuf AliBut she in whose house he was, sought to seduce him from his (true) self: she fastened the doors, and said: "Now come, thou (dear one)!" He said: "Allah forbid! truly (thy husband) is my lord! he made my sojourn agreeable! truly to no good come those who do wrong!"

Shabbir Ahmed اور پُھسلایا اُسے اس عورت نے کہ جس کے گھر میں وہ تھا کہ اپنے نفس پر قابو نہ رکھ سکے اور بند کر لیے سب دروازے اور کہنے لگی: بس آ جاؤ! یوسف نے کہا: اللہ کی پناہ، بے شک اللہ میرا رب ہے اُس نے مجھے اچھی منزلت بخشی ہے۔ واقعہ یہ ہے کہ نہیں فلاح پاتے ظالم لوگ۔

Mehmood Al Hassanاور پھسلایا اسکو اس عورت نے جسکے گھر میں تھا اپنا جی تھامنے سے اور بند کردیئے دروازے اور بولی شتابی کر کہا خدا کی پناہ وہ عزیز مالک ہے میرا اچھی طرح رکھا ہے مجھ کو بیشک بھلائی نہیں پاتے جو لوگ کہ بے انصاف ہوں
Abul Ala Maududiجس عورت کے گھر میں وہ تھا وہ اُس پر ڈورے ڈالنے لگی اور ایک روز دروازے بند کر کے بولی "آ جا" یوسفؑ نے کہا "خدا کی پناہ، میرے رب نے تو مجھے اچھی منزلت بخشی (اور میں یہ کام کروں!) ایسے ظالم کبھی فلاح نہیں پایا کرتے"

Arberry Now the woman in whose house he was solicited him, and closed the doors on them. 'Come,' she said, 'take me!' 'God be my refuge,' he said. 'Surely my lord has given me a goodly lodging. Surely the evildoers do not prosper.
ShakirAnd she in whose house he was sought to make himself yield (to her), and she made fast the doors and said: Come forward. He said: I seek Allah's refuge, surely my Lord made good my abode: Surely the unjust do not prosper.
SarwarHis master's wife then tried to seduce him. She locked the doors and said to him, "Come on." He said, "I seek refuge in God who has given me a good place of shelter. The unjust will certainly have no happiness."

MalikNow, the lady of the house (his master's wife) attempted to seduce him. She bolted the doors and said: "Come!" He replied: "May Allah protect me from this! My lord has provided me with good residence. Should I betray his trust? Such wrongdoers shall not prosper."[23]

Hilali/Khan**And she, in whose house he was, sought to seduce him (to do an evil act), she closed the doors and said: "Come on, O you." He said: "I seek refuge in Allah (or Allah forbid)! Truly, he (your husband) is my master! He made my stay agreeable! (So I will never betray him). Verily, the Zalimoon (wrong and evil-doers) will never be successful."
