| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[12:37] | Qala la ya/teekuma taAAamunturzaqanihi illa nabba/tukuma bita/weelihiqabla an ya/tiyakuma thalikuma mimmaAAallamanee rabbee innee taraktu millata qawmin layu/minoona biAllahi wahum bial-akhiratihum kafiroona |  قال لا يأتيكما طعام ترزقانه إلا نبأتكما بتأويله قبل أن يأتيكما ذلكما مما علمني ربي إني تركت ملة قوم لا يؤمنون بالله وهم بالآخرة هم كافرونقَالَ لاَ يَأْتِيكُمَا طَعَامٌ تُرْزَقَانِهِ إِلاَّ نَبَّأْتُكُمَا بِتَأْوِيلِهِ قَبْلَ أَن يَأْتِيَكُمَا ذَلِكُمَا مِمَّا عَلَّمَنِي رَبِّي إِنِّي تَرَكْتُ مِلَّةَ قَوْمٍ لاَّ يُؤْمِنُونَ بِاللّهِ وَهُم بِالْآخِرَةِ هُمْ كَافِرُونَ | |||||

| Tahir ul Qadri | یوسف (علیہ السلام) نے کہا: جو کھانا (روز) تمہیں کھلایا جاتا ہے وہ تمہارے پاس آنے بھی نہ پائے گا کہ میں تم دونوں کو اس کی تعبیر تمہارے پاس اس کے آنے سے قبل بتا دوں گا، یہ (تعبیر) ان علوم میں سے ہے جو میرے رب نے مجھے سکھائے ہیں۔ بیشک میں نے اس قوم کا مذہب (شروع ہی سے) چھوڑ رکھا ہے جو اﷲ پر ایمان نہیں لاتے اور وہ آخرت کے بھی منکر ہیں | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | He said: "Before any food comes (in due course) to feed either of you, I will surely reveal to you the truth and meaning of this ere it befall you: that is part of the (duty) which my Lord hath taught me. I have (I assure you) abandoned the ways of a people that believe not in Allah and that (even) deny the Hereafter.
