Waqala allathee najaminhuma waiddakara baAAda ommatin anaonabbi-okum bita/weelihi faarsilooni وقال الذي نجا منهما وادكر بعد أمة أنا أنبئكم بتأويله فأرسلون
وَقَالَ الَّذِي نَجَا مِنْهُمَا وَادَّكَرَ بَعْدَ أُمَّةٍ أَنَاْ أُنَبِّئُكُم بِتَأْوِيلِهِ فَأَرْسِلُونِ

  اور وہ شخص جو ان دونوں میں سے رہائی پا چکا تھا بولا، اور (اب) اسے ایک مدت کے بعد (یوسف علیہ السلام کے ساتھ کیا ہوا وعدہ) یاد آگیا: میں تمہیں اس کی تعبیر بتاؤں گا سو تم مجھے (یوسف علیہ السلام کے پاس) بھیجو

Yousuf AliBut the man who had been released, one of the two (who had been in prison) and who now bethought him after (so long) a space of time, said: "I will tell you the truth of its interpretation: send ye me (therefore)."

Ahmed Aliاور وہ بولا جو ان دونو ں میں سے بچا تھا اور اسے مدت کے بعد یاد آ گیا میں تمہیں اس کی تعبیر بتلاؤں گا سو تم مجھے بھیج دو

Mehmood Al Hassanاور بولا وہ جو بچا تھا ان دونوں میں سے اور یاد آ گیا اس کو مدت کے بعد میں بتاؤں تم کو اس کی تعبیر سو تم مجھ کو بھیجو
Abul Ala Maududiاُن دو قیدیوں میں سے جو شخص بچ گیا تھا اور اُسے ایک مدت دراز کے بعد اب بات یاد آئی، اُس نے کہا "میں آپ حضرات کو اس کی تاویل بتاتا ہوں، مجھے ذرا (قید خانے میں یوسفؑ کے پاس) بھیج دیجیے"
