Falamma istay-asoo minhu khalasoonajiyyan qala kabeeruhum alam taAAlamoo anna abakumqad akhatha AAalaykum mawthiqan mina Allahi waminqablu ma farrattum fee yoosufa falan abrahaal-arda hatta ya/thana lee abee aw yahkumaAllahu lee wahuwa khayru alhakimeena فلما استيأسوا منه خلصوا نجيا قال كبيرهم ألم تعلموا أن أباكم قد أخذ عليكم موثقا من الله ومن قبل ما فرطتم في يوسف فلن أبرح الأرض حتى يأذن لي أبي أو يحكم الله لي وهو خير الحاكمين
فَلَمَّا اسْتَيْأَسُواْ مِنْهُ خَلَصُواْ نَجِيًّا قَالَ كَبِيرُهُمْ أَلَمْ تَعْلَمُواْ أَنَّ أَبَاكُمْ قَدْ أَخَذَ عَلَيْكُم مَّوْثِقًا مِّنَ اللّهِ وَمِن قَبْلُ مَا فَرَّطتُمْ فِي يُوسُفَ فَلَنْ أَبْرَحَ الْأَرْضَ حَتَّىَ يَأْذَنَ لِي أَبِي أَوْ يَحْكُمَ اللّهُ لِي وَهُوَ خَيْرُ الْحَاكِمِينَ

  پھر جب وہ یوسف (علیہ السلام) سے مایوس ہوگئے تو علیحدگی میں (باہم) سرگوشی کرنے لگے، ان کے بڑے (بھائی) نے کہا: کیا تم نہیں جانتے کہ تمہارے باپ نے تم سے اﷲ کی قسم اٹھوا کر پختہ وعدہ لیا تھا اور اس سے پہلے تم یوسف کے حق میں جو زیادتیاں کر چکے ہو (تمہیں وہ بھی معلوم ہیں)، سو میں اس سرزمین سے ہرگز نہیں جاؤں گا جب تک مجھے میرا باپ اجازت (نہ) دے یا میرے لئے اﷲ کوئی فیصلہ فرما دے، اور وہ سب سے بہتر فیصلہ فرمانے والا ہے

Yousuf AliNow when they saw no hope of his (yielding), they held a conference in private. The leader among them said: "Know ye not that your father did take an oath from you in Allah's name, and how, before this, ye did fail in your duty with Joseph? Therefore will I not leave this land until my father permits me, or Allah commands me; and He is the best to command.

Ahmed Aliپھر جب اس سےناامید ہوئے مشورہ کرنے کے لیے اکیلے ہو بیٹھے ان میں سے بڑے نے کہا کیا تمہیں معلوم نہیں کہ تمہارے باپ نے تم سے الله کا عہد لیا تھا اور پہلے جویوسف کے حق میں قصور کر چکے ہو سو میں تو اس ملک سے ہرگز نہیں جاؤں گا یہاں تک کہ میرا با پ مجھے حکم دے یا میرے لیے الله کوئی حکم فرمائے اور وہ بہتر فیصلہ کرنے والا ہے
Ahmed Raza Khanپھر جب اس سے نا امید ہوئے الگ جاکر سرگوشی کرنے لگے، ان کا بڑا بھائی بولا کیا تمہیں خبر نہیں کہ تمہارے باپ نے تم سے اللہ کا عہد لے لیا تھا اور اس سے پہلے یوسف کے حق میں تم نے کیسی تقصیر کی تو میں یہاں سے نہ ٹلوں گا یہاں تک کہ میرے باپ اجازت دیں یا اللہ مجھے حکم فرمائے اور اس کا حکم سب سے بہتر،
Shabbir Ahmed پھر جب وہ نااُمید ہوگئے یوسف سے تو علحدہ ہوگئے۔ باہم مشورہ کرنے کے لیے، کہا: اُن کے بڑے (بھائ) نے کیا تمہیں نہیں معلوم کہ تمہارے والد نے لیا ہے تم سے عہد اللہ کے نام پر اور اس سے پہلے بھی جو قصور کرچُکے ہو تم یُوسف کے معاملہ میں۔ لہٰذا ہرگز نہ چھوڑوں گا میں اس جگہ کو جب تک کہ (نہ) اجازت دیں مجھے میرے والد یا فیصلہ کردے اللہ میرے حق میں۔ اور وہ بہترین فیصلہ کرنے والا ہے۔
