Wama arsalna min rasoolin illabilisani qawmihi liyubayyina lahum fayudillu Allahuman yashao wayahdee man yashao wahuwa alAAazeezu alhakeemu وما أرسلنا من رسول إلا بلسان قومه ليبين لهم فيضل الله من يشاء ويهدي من يشاء وهو العزيز الحكيم
وَمَا أَرْسَلْنَا مِن رَّسُولٍ إِلاَّ بِلِسَانِ قَوْمِهِ لِيُبَيِّنَ لَهُمْ فَيُضِلُّ اللّهُ مَن يَشَاءُ وَيَهْدِي مَن يَشَاءُ وَهُوَ الْعَزِيزُ الْحَكِيمُ

  اور ہم نے کسی رسول کو نہیں بھیجا مگر اپنی قوم کی زبان کے ساتھ تاکہ وہ ان کے لئے (پیغامِ حق) خوب واضح کر سکے، پھر اﷲ جسے چاہتا ہے گمراہ ٹھہرا دیتا ہے اور جسے چاہتا ہے ہدایت بخشتا ہے، اور وہ غالب حکمت والا ہے

Yousuf AliWe sent not a messenger except (to teach) in the language of his (own) people, in order to make (things) clear to them. Now Allah leaves straying those whom He pleases and guides whom He pleases: and He is Exalted in power, full of Wisdom.

Ahmed Aliاور ہم نے ہر پیغمبر کو اس کی قوم کی زبان میں پیغمبر بنا کر بھیجا ہے تاکہ انہیں سمجھا سکے پھر الله جسے چاہتا ہے گمراہ کرتا ہے اور جسے چاہتا ہے ہدایت دیتا ہے اوروہ غالب حکمت والا ہے

Shabbir Ahmed اور نہیں بھیجا ہم نے کوئی رسُول مگر بولتا تھا وہ زبان اپنی قوم کی تاکہ کھول کر سمجھائے اُنہیں، پھر گمراہ کردیتا ہے اللہ جسے چاہے اور ہدایت دیتا ہے جسے چاہے۔ اور وہ ہے زبردست، بڑی حکمت والا۔

Mehmood Al Hassanاور کوئی رسول نہیں بھیجا ہم نے مگر بولی بولنے والا اپنی قوم کی تاکہ ان کو سمجھائے پھر راستہ بھلاتا ہے (بھٹکاتا ہے) اللہ جس کو چاہے اور راستہ دکھلا دیتا ہے (دیتا ہے ) جسکو چاہے اور وہ ہے زبردست حکمتوں والا
Abul Ala Maududiہم نے اپنا پیغام دینے کے لیے جب کبھی کوئی رسول بھیجا ہے، اُس نے اپنی قوم ہی کی زبان میں پیغام دیا ہے تاکہ وہ انہیں اچھی طرح کھول کر بات سمجھائے پھر اللہ جسے چاہتا ہے بھٹکا دیتا ہے اور جسے چاہتا ہے ہدایت بخشتا ہے، وہ بالا دست اور حکیم ہے

SarwarAll the Messengers that We sent spoke the language of their people so that they could explain (their message to them). God guides or causes to go astray whomever He wants. He is Majestic and All-wise.
H/K/SaheehAnd We did not send any messenger except [speaking] in the language of his people to state clearly for them, and Allah sends astray [thereby] whom He wills and guides whom He wills. And He is the Exalted in Might, the Wise.

Hilali/Khan**And We sent not a Messenger except with the language of his people, in order that he might make (the Message) clear for them. Then Allah misleads whom He wills and guides whom He wills. And He is the All-Mighty, the All-Wise.
