| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |
| 1. [15:20] | WajaAAalna lakum feeha maAAayishawaman lastum lahu biraziqeena |  وجعلنا لكم فيها معايش ومن لستم له برازقينوَجَعَلْنَا لَكُمْ فِيهَا مَعَايِشَ وَمَن لَّسْتُمْ لَهُ بِرَازِقِينَ | |||||

| Tahir ul Qadri | اور ہم نے اس میں تمہارے لئے اسبابِ معیشت پیدا کئے اور ان (انسانوں، جانوروں اور پرندوں) کے لئے بھی جنہیں تم رزق مہیا نہیں کرتے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | And We have provided therein means of subsistence,- for you and for those for whose sustenance ye are not responsible.

| Words | |وجعلنا - And We have made| لكم - for you| فيها - therein| معايش - means of living| ومن - and whom| لستم - you are not| له - for him| برازقين - providers.| | ||||||
| 2. [15:73] | Faakhathat-humu alssayhatumushriqeena | فأخذتهم الصيحة مشرقين فَأَخَذَتْهُمُ الصَّيْحَةُ مُشْرِقِينَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | پس انہیں طلوعِ آفتاب کے ساتھ ہی سخت آتشیں کڑک نے آلیا | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | But the (mighty) Blast overtook them before morning,
| ||||||
| Words | |فأخذتهم - So, seized them| الصيحة - the awful cry| مشرقين - at sunrise.| | ||||||
| 3. [15:76] | Wa-innaha labisabeelin muqeemin | وإنها لبسبيل مقيم وَإِنَّهَا لَبِسَبِيلٍ مُّقيمٍ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اور بیشک وہ بستی ایک آباد راستہ پر واقع ہے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | And the (cities were) right on the high-road.
| ||||||
| Words | |وإنها - And indeed, it| لبسبيل - (is) on a road| مقيم - established.| | ||||||
| 4. [15:83] | Faakhathat-humu alssayhatumusbiheena | فأخذتهم الصيحة مصبحين فَأَخَذَتْهُمُ الصَّيْحَةُ مُصْبِحِينَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | تو انہیں (بھی) صبح کرتے ہی خوفناک کڑک نے آپکڑا | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | But the (mighty) Blast seized them of a morning,
| ||||||
| Words | |فأخذتهم - But seized them| الصيحة - the awful cry| مصبحين - (at) early morning,| | ||||||
| 5. [15:21] | Wa-in min shay-in illa AAindanakhaza-inuhu wama nunazziluhu illa biqadarinmaAAloomin | وإن من شيء إلا عندنا خزائنه وما ننزله إلا بقدر معلوم وَإِن مِّن شَيْءٍ إِلاَّ عِندَنَا خَزَائِنُهُ وَمَا نُنَزِّلُهُ إِلاَّ بِقَدَرٍ مَّعْلُومٍ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اور (کائنات) کی کوئی بھی چیز ایسی نہیں ہے مگر یہ کہ ہمارے پاس اس کے خزانے ہیں اور ہم اسے صرف معیّن مقدار کے مطابق ہی اتارتے رہتے ہیں | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | And there is not a thing but its (sources and) treasures (inexhaustible) are with Us; but We only send down thereof in due and ascertainable measures.

| Words | |وإن - And not| من - (is) any| شيء - thing| إلا - but| عندنا - with Us| خزائنه - (are) its treasures,| وما - and not| ننزله - We send it down| إلا - except| بقدر - in a measure| معلوم - known.| | ||||||

[15:22] | Waarsalna alrriyaha lawaqihafaanzalna mina alssama-i maanfaasqaynakumoohu wama antum lahu bikhazineena | وأرسلنا الرياح لواقح فأنزلنا من السماء ماء فأسقيناكموه وما أنتم له بخازنين وَأَرْسَلْنَا الرِّيَاحَ لَوَاقِحَ فَأَنزَلْنَا مِنَ السَّمَاءِ مَاءً فَأَسْقَيْنَاكُمُوهُ وَمَا أَنتُمْ لَهُ بِخَازِنِينَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اور ہم ہواؤں کو بادلوں کا بوجھ اٹھائے ہوئے بھیجتے ہیں پھر ہم آسمان کی جانب سے پانی اتارتے ہیں پھر ہم اسے تم ہی کو پلاتے ہیں اور تم اس کے خزانے رکھنے والے نہیں ہو | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | And We send the fecundating winds, then cause the rain to descend from the sky, therewith providing you with water (in abundance), though ye are not the guardians of its stores.

| Words | |وأرسلنا - And We have sent| الرياح - the winds| لواقح - fertilizing,| فأنزلنا - and We sent down| من - from| السماء - the sky| ماء - water,| فأسقيناكموه - and We gave it to you to drink.| وما - And not| أنتم - you| له - of it| بخازنين - (are) retainers.| | ||||||
| 7. [15:23] | Wa-inna lanahnu nuhyeewanumeetu wanahnu alwarithoona | وإنا لنحن نحيي ونميت ونحن الوارثون وَإنَّا لَنَحْنُ نُحْيِي وَنُمِيتُ وَنَحْنُ الْوَارِثُونَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اور بیشک ہم ہی جلاتے ہیں اور مارتے ہیں اور ہم ہی (سب کے) وارث (و مالک) ہیں | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | And verily, it is We Who give life, and Who give death: it is We Who remain inheritors (after all else passes away).
| ||||||
| Words | |وإنا - And indeed, We,| لنحن - surely [We]| نحيي - We give life| ونميت - and We cause death,| ونحن - and We| الوارثون - (are) the Inheritors.| | ||||||
| 8. [15:90] | Kama anzalna AAalaalmuqtasimeena | كما أنزلنا على المقتسمين كَمَا أَنزَلْنَا عَلَى المُقْتَسِمِينَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | جیسا (عذاب) کہ ہم نے تقسیم کرنے والوں (یعنی یہود و نصارٰی) پر اتارا تھا | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | (Of just such wrath) as We sent down on those who divided (Scripture into arbitrary parts),-

| Words | |كما - As| أنزلنا - We sent down| على - on| المقتسمين - those who divided.| | ||||||
| 9. [15:91] | Allatheena jaAAaloo alqur-anaAAideena | الذين جعلوا القرآن عضين الَّذِينَ جَعَلُوا الْقُرْآنَ عِضِينَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | جنہوں نے قرآن کو ٹکڑے ٹکڑے (کر کے تقسیم) کر ڈالا (یعنی موافق آیتوں کو مان لیا اور غیر موافق کو نہ مانا) | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | (So also on such) as have made Qur'an into shreds (as they please).
| ||||||
| Words | |الذين - Those who| جعلوا - have made| القرآن - the Quran| عضين - (in) parts.| | ||||||
| 10. [15:92] | Fawarabbika lanas-alannahum ajmaAAeena | فوربك لنسألنهم أجمعين فَوَرَبِّكَ لَنَسْأَلَنَّهُمْ أَجْمَعِيْنَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | سو آپ کے رب کی قسم! ہم ان سب سے ضرور پرسش کریں گے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Therefore, by the Lord, We will, of a surety, call them to account,
| ||||||
| Words | |فوربك - So by your Lord,| لنسألنهم - surely We will question them| أجمعين - all| | ||||||
| 11. [15:24] | Walaqad AAalimna almustaqdimeenaminkum walaqad AAalimna almusta/khireena | ولقد علمنا المستقدمين منكم ولقد علمنا المستأخرين وَلَقَدْ عَلِمْنَا الْمُسْتَقْدِمِينَ مِنكُمْ وَلَقَدْ عَلِمْنَا الْمُسْتَأْخِرِينَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اور بیشک ہم اُن کو بھی جانتے ہیں جو تم سے پہلے گزر چکے اور بیشک ہم بعد میں آنے والوں کو بھی جانتے ہیں | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | To Us are known those of you who hasten forward, and those who lag behind.
| ||||||
| Words | |ولقد - And verily| علمنا - We know| المستقدمين - the preceding ones| منكم - among you| ولقد - and verily,| علمنا - We know| المستأخرين - the later ones.| | ||||||
| 12. [15:25] | Wa-inna rabbaka huwa yahshuruhuminnahu hakeemun AAaleemun | وإن ربك هو يحشرهم إنه حكيم عليم وَإِنَّ رَبَّكَ هُوَ يَحْشُرُهُمْ إِنَّهُ حَكِيمٌ عَلِيمٌ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اور بیشک آپ کا رب ہی تو انہیں (روزِ قیامت) جمع فرمائے گا۔ بیشک وہ بڑی حکمت والا خوب جاننے والا ہے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Assuredly it is thy Lord Who will gather them together: for He is perfect in Wisdom and Knowledge.

| Words | |وإن - And indeed,| ربك - your Lord,| هو - He| يحشرهم - will gather them.| إنه - Indeed, He| حكيم - (is) All-Wise,| عليم - All-Knowing.| | ||||||
| 13. [15:26] | Walaqad khalaqna al-insana minsalsalin min hama-in masnoonin | ولقد خلقنا الإنسان من صلصال من حمإ مسنون وَلَقَدْ خَلَقْنَا الْإِنسَانَ مِن صَلْصَالٍ مِّنْ حَمَإٍ مَّسْنُونٍ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اور بیشک ہم نے انسان کی (کیمیائی) تخلیق ایسے خشک بجنے والے گارے سے کی جو (پہلے) سِن رسیدہ (اور دھوپ اور دیگر طبیعیاتی اور کیمیائی اثرات کے باعث تغیر پذیر ہو کر) سیاہ بو دار ہو چکا تھا | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | We created man from sounding clay, from mud moulded into shape;
| ||||||
| Words | |ولقد - And verily,| خلقنا - We created| الإنسان - humankind| من - (out) of| صلصال - sounding clay| من - from| حمإ - black mud| مسنون - altered.| | ||||||
| 14. [15:27] | Waaljanna khalaqnahumin qablu min nari alssamoomi | والجان خلقناه من قبل من نار السموم وَالْجَآنَّ خَلَقْنَاهُ مِن قَبْلُ مِن نَّارِ السَّمُومِ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اور اِس سے پہلے ہم نے جنّوں کو شدید جلا دینے والی آگ سے پیدا کیا جس میں دھواں نہیں تھا | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | And the Jinn race, We had created before, from the fire of a scorching wind.

| Words | |والجان - And the jinn| خلقناه - We created it| من - before| قبل - before| من - from| نار - fire| السموم - scorching.| | ||||||
| 15. [15:93] | AAamma kanoo yaAAmaloona | عما كانوا يعملون عَمَّا كَانُوا يَعْمَلُونَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | ان اعمال سے متعلق جو وہ کرتے رہے تھے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | For all their deeds.
| ||||||
| Words | |عما - About what| كانوا - they used (to)| يعملون - do.| | ||||||
| 16. [15:95] | Inna kafaynaka almustahzi-eena | إنا كفيناك المستهزئين إِنَّا كَفَيْنَاكَ الْمُسْتَهْزِئِينَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | بیشک مذاق کرنے والوں (کو انجام تک پہنچانے) کے لئے ہم آپ کو کافی ہیں | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | For sufficient are We unto thee against those who scoff,-
| ||||||
| Words | |إنا - Indeed, We| كفيناك - [We] are sufficient for you| المستهزئين - (against) the mockers| | ||||||
| 17. [15:28] | Wa-ith qala rabbuka lilmala-ikatiinnee khaliqun basharan min salsalin min hama-inmasnoonin | وإذ قال ربك للملائكة إني خالق بشرا من صلصال من حمإ مسنون وَإِذْ قَالَ رَبُّكَ لِلْمَلاَئِكَةِ إِنِّي خَالِقٌ بَشَرًا مِّن صَلْصَالٍ مِّنْ حَمَإٍ مَّسْنُونٍ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اور (وہ واقعہ یاد کیجئے) جب آپ کے رب نے فرشتوں سے فرمایا کہ میں سِن رسیدہ (اور) سیاہ بودار، بجنے والے گارے سے ایک بشری پیکر پیدا کرنے والا ہوں | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Behold! thy Lord said to the angels: "I am about to create man, from sounding clay from mud moulded into shape;

| Words | |وإذ - And when| قال - your Lord said| ربك - your Lord said| للملائكة - to the Angels,| إني - "Indeed, I| خالق - (will) create| بشرا - a human being| من - (out) of| صلصال - clay| من - from| حمإ - black mud| مسنون - altered.| | ||||||
| 18. [15:29] | Fa-itha sawwaytuhu wanafakhtu feehimin roohee faqaAAoo lahu sajideena | فإذا سويته ونفخت فيه من روحي فقعوا له ساجدين فَإِذَا سَوَّيْتُهُ وَنَفَخْتُ فِيهِ مِن رُّوحِي فَقَعُواْ لَهُ سَاجِدِينَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | پھر جب میں اس کی (ظاہری) تشکیل کو کامل طور پر درست حالت میں لا چکوں اور اس پیکرِ (بشری کے باطن) میں اپنی (نورانی) روح پھونک دوں تو تم اس کے لئے سجدہ میں گر پڑنا | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | "When I have fashioned him (in due proportion) and breathed into him of My spirit, fall ye down in obeisance unto him."

| Words | |فإذا - So, when| سويته - I have fashioned him| ونفخت - and [I] breathed| فيه - into him| من - of| روحي - My spirit,| فقعوا - then fall down| له - to him| ساجدين - prostrating."| | ||||||
| 19. [15:31] | Illa ibleesa aba an yakoonamaAAa alssajideena | إلا إبليس أبى أن يكون مع الساجدين إِلاَّ إِبْلِيسَ أَبَى أَن يَكُونَ مَعَ السَّاجِدِينَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | سوائے ابلیس کے، اس نے سجدہ کرنے والوں کے ساتھ ہونے سے انکار کر دیا | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Not so Iblis: he refused to be among those who prostrated themselves.
| ||||||
| Words | |إلا - Except| إبليس - Iblis.| أبى - He refused| أن - to| يكون - be| مع - with| الساجدين - those who prostrated.| | ||||||
| 20. [15:32] | Qala ya ibleesu ma lakaalla takoona maAAa alssajideena | قال يا إبليس ما لك ألا تكون مع الساجدين قَالَ يَا إِبْلِيسُ مَا لَكَ أَلاَّ تَكُونَ مَعَ السَّاجِدِينَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | (اللہ نے) ارشاد فرمایا: اے ابلیس! تجھے کیا ہو گیا ہے کہ تو سجدہ کرنے والوں کے ساتھ نہ ہوا | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | (Allah) said: "O Iblis! what is your reason for not being among those who prostrated themselves?"

| Words | |قال - He said,| يا - O| إبليس - "O Iblis!| ما - What| لك - (is) for you| ألا - that not| تكون - you are| مع - with| الساجدين - those who prostrated?"| | ||||||
| 21. [15:33] | Qala lam akun li-asjuda libasharinkhalaqtahu min salsalin min hama-in masnoonin | قال لم أكن لأسجد لبشر خلقته من صلصال من حمإ مسنون قَالَ لَمْ أَكُن لِّأَسْجُدَ لِبَشَرٍ خَلَقْتَهُ مِن صَلْصَالٍ مِّنْ حَمَإٍ مَّسْنُونٍ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | (ابلیس نے) کہا: میں ہر گز ایسا نہیں (ہو سکتا) کہ بشر کو سجدہ کروں جسے تو نے سِن رسیدہ (اور) سیاہ بودار، بجنے والے گارے سے تخلیق کیا ہے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | (Iblis) said: "I am not one to prostrate myself to man, whom Thou didst create from sounding clay, from mud moulded into shape."

| Words | |قال - He said,| لم - "I am not| أكن - "I am not| لأسجد - (one) to prostrate| لبشر - to a human| خلقته - whom You created,| من - (out) of| صلصال - clay| من - from| حمإ - black mud| مسنون - altered."| | ||||||
| 22. [15:34] | Qala faokhruj minhafa-innaka rajeemun | قال فاخرج منها فإنك رجيم قَالَ فَاخْرُجْ مِنْهَا فَإِنَّكَ رَجِيمٌ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | (اللہ نے) فرمایا: تو یہاں سے نکل جا پس بیشک تو مردود (راندۂ درگاہ) ہے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | (Allah) said: "Then get thee out from here; for thou art rejected, accursed.
| ||||||
| Words | |قال - He said,| فاخرج - "Then get out| منها - of it,| فإنك - for indeed, you| رجيم - (are) expelled.| | ||||||
| 23. [15:35] | Wa-inna AAalayka allaAAnata ila yawmialddeeni | وإن عليك اللعنة إلى يوم الدين وَإِنَّ عَلَيْكَ اللَّعْنَةَ إِلَى يَوْمِ الدِّينِ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اور بیشک تجھ پر روزِ جزا تک لعنت (پڑتی) رہے گی | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | "And the curse shall be on thee till the day of Judgment."

| Words | |وإن - And indeed,| عليك - upon you| اللعنة - (will be) the curse| إلى - till| يوم - (the) Day| الدين - (of) [the] Judgment."| | ||||||
| 24. [15:36] | Qala rabbi faanthirneeila yawmi yubAAathoona | قال رب فأنظرني إلى يوم يبعثون قَالَ رَبِّ فَأَنظِرْنِي إِلَى يَوْمِ يُبْعَثُونَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اُس نے کہا: اے پروردگار! پس تو مجھے اُس دن تک مہلت دے دے (جس دن) لوگ (دوبارہ) اٹھائے جائیں گے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | (Iblis) said: "O my Lord! give me then respite till the Day the (dead) are raised."

| Words | |قال - He said,| رب - "O my Lord!| فأنظرني - Then give me respite| إلى - till| يوم - (the) Day| يبعثون - they are raised."| | ||||||
| 25. [15:39] | Qala rabbi bima aghwaytaneelaozayyinanna lahum fee al-ardi walaoghwiyannahumajmaAAeena | قال رب بما أغويتني لأزينن لهم في الأرض ولأغوينهم أجمعين قَالَ رَبِّ بِمَآ أَغْوَيْتَنِي لَأُزَيِّنَنَّ لَهُمْ فِي الْأَرْضِ وَلَأُغْوِيَنَّهُمْ أَجْمَعِينَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | ابلیس نے کہا: اے پروردگار! اس سبب سے جو تو نے مجھے گمراہ کیا میں (بھی) یقیناً ان کے لئے زمین میں (گناہوں اور نافرمانیوں کو) خوب آراستہ و خوش نما بنا دوں گا اور ان سب کو ضرور گمراہ کر کے رہوں گا | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | (Iblis) said: "O my Lord! because Thou hast put me in the wrong, I will make (wrong) fair-seeming to them on the earth, and I will put them all in the wrong,-

| Words | |قال - He said,| رب - "My Lord!| بما - Because| أغويتني - You misled me,| لأزينن - surely, I will make (evil) fair-seeming| لهم - to them| في - in| الأرض - the earth| ولأغوينهم - and I will mislead them| أجمعين - all| | ||||||
| 26. [15:41] | Qala hatha siratunAAalayya mustaqeemun | قال هذا صراط علي مستقيم قَالَ هَذَا صِرَاطٌ عَلَيَّ مُسْتَقِيمٌ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اللہ نے ارشاد فرمایا: یہ (اخلاص ہی) راستہ ہے جو سیدھا میرے در پر آتا ہے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | (Allah) said: "This (way of My sincere servants) is indeed a way that leads straight to Me.

| Words | |قال - He said,| هذا - "This| صراط - (is) the way| علي - to Me| مستقيم - straight.| | ||||||
| 27. [15:42] | Inna AAibadee laysa laka AAalayhimsultanun illa mani ittabaAAaka mina alghaweena | إن عبادي ليس لك عليهم سلطان إلا من اتبعك من الغاوين إِنَّ عِبَادِي لَيْسَ لَكَ عَلَيْهِمْ سُلْطَانٌ إِلاَّ مَنِ اتَّبَعَكَ مِنَ الْغَاوِينَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | بیشک میرے (اخلاص یافتہ) بندوں پر تیرا کوئی زور نہیں چلے گا سوائے ان بھٹکے ہوؤں کے جنہوں نے تیری راہ اختیار کی | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | "For over My servants no authority shalt thou have, except such as put themselves in the wrong and follow thee."

| Words | |إن - Indeed,| عبادي - My slaves,| ليس - not| لك - you have| عليهم - over them| سلطان - any authority,| إلا - except| من - those who| اتبعك - follow you,| من - of| الغاوين - the ones who go astray."| | ||||||
| 28. [15:44] | Laha sabAAatu abwabin likullibabin minhum juz-on maqsoomun | لها سبعة أبواب لكل باب منهم جزء مقسوم لَهَا سَبْعَةُ أَبْوَابٍ لِّكُلِّ بَابٍ مِّنْهُمْ جُزْءٌ مَّقْسُومٌ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | جس کے سات دروازے ہیں، ہر دروازے کے لئے ان میں سے الگ حصہ مخصوص کیا گیا ہے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | To it are seven gates: for each of those gates is a (special) class (of sinners) assigned.

| Words | |لها - For it| سبعة - (are) seven| أبواب - gates,| لكل - for each| باب - gate| منهم - among them| جزء - (is) a portion| مقسوم - assigned.| | ||||||
| 29. [15:45] | Inna almuttaqeena fee jannatinwaAAuyoonin | إن المتقين في جنات وعيون إِنَّ الْمُتَّقِينَ فِي جَنَّاتٍ وَعُيُونٍ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | بیشک متقی لوگ باغوں اور چشموں میں رہیں گے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | The righteous (will be) amid gardens and fountains (of clear-flowing water).
| ||||||
| Words | |إن - Indeed,| المتقين - the righteous| في - (will be) in| جنات - Gardens| وعيون - and water springs.| | ||||||
| 30. [15:47] | WanazaAAna ma fee sudoorihimmin ghillin ikhwanan AAala sururin mutaqabileena | ونزعنا ما في صدورهم من غل إخوانا على سرر متقابلين وَنَزَعْنَا مَا فِي صُدُورِهِم مِّنْ غِلٍّ إِخْوَانًا عَلَى سُرُرٍ مُّتَقَابِلِينَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اور ہم وہ ساری کدورت باہر کھینچ لیں گے جو (دنیا میں) ان کے سینوں میں (مغالطہ کے باعث ایک دوسرے سے) تھی، وہ (جنت میں) بھائی بھائی بن کر آمنے سامنے بیٹھے ہوں گے | ||||||
