| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |
| 1. [16:61] | Walaw yu-akhithu Allahualnnasa bithulmihim ma tarakaAAalayha min dabbatin walakin yu-akhkhiruhumila ajalin musamman fa-itha jaa ajaluhum layasta/khiroona saAAatan wala yastaqdimoona |  ولو يؤاخذ الله الناس بظلمهم ما ترك عليها من دابة ولكن يؤخرهم إلى أجل مسمى فإذا جاء أجلهم لا يستأخرون ساعة ولا يستقدمونوَلَوْ يُؤَاخِذُ اللّهُ النَّاسَ بِظُلْمِهِم مَّا تَرَكَ عَلَيْهَا مِن دَآبَّةٍ وَلَكِن يُؤَخِّرُهُمْ إلَى أَجَلٍ مُّسَمًّى فَإِذَا جَاءَ أَجَلُهُمْ لاَ يَسْتَأْخِرُونَ سَاعَةً وَلاَ يَسْتَقْدِمُونَ | |||||

| Tahir ul Qadri | اور اگر اللہ لوگوں کو ان کے ظلم کے عوض (فوراً) پکڑ لیا کرتا تو اس (زمین) پر کسی جاندار کو نہ چھوڑتا لیکن وہ انہیں مقررہ میعاد تک مہلت دیتا ہے، پھر جب ان کا مقرر وقت آپہنچتا ہے تو وہ نہ ایک گھڑی پیچھے ہو سکتے ہیں اور نہ آگے بڑھ سکتے ہیں | ||||||

| Literal | And if God punishes the people because of their injustice/oppression, He would not (have) left on it from a walker/creeper/crawler , and but He delays them to a named/identified term/time, so if their term/time came, they do not delay/lag behind an hour, and they do not advance/precede (an hour). | ||||||
