| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |
| 1. [19:56] | Waothkur fee alkitabiidreesa innahu kana siddeeqan nabiyyan |  واذكر في الكتاب إدريس إنه كان صديقا نبياوَاذْكُرْ فِي الْكِتَابِ إِدْرِيسَ إِنَّهُ كَانَ صِدِّيقًا نَّبِيًّا | |||||

| Yousuf Ali | Also mention in the Book the case of Idris: He was a man of truth (and sincerity), (and) a prophet:

[19:58] | Ola-ika allatheena anAAama AllahuAAalayhim mina alnnabiyyeena min thurriyyati adamawamimman hamalna maAAa noohin wamin thurriyyatiibraheema wa-isra-eela wamimman hadayna waijtabaynaitha tutla AAalayhim ayatu alrrahmanikharroo sujjadan wabukiyyan | أولئك الذين أنعم الله عليهم من النبيين من ذرية آدم وممن حملنا مع نوح ومن ذرية إبراهيم وإسرائيل وممن هدينا واجتبينا إذا تتلى عليهم آيات الرحمن خروا سجدا وبكيا أُوْلَئِكَ الَّذِينَ أَنْعَمَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِم مِّنَ النَّبِيِّينَ مِن ذُرِّيَّةِ آدَمَ وَمِمَّنْ حَمَلْنَا مَعَ نُوحٍ وَمِن ذُرِّيَّةِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَإِسْرَائِيلَ وَمِمَّنْ هَدَيْنَا وَاجْتَبَيْنَا إِذَا تُتْلَى عَلَيْهِمْ آيَاتُ الرَّحْمَن خَرُّوا سُجَّدًا وَبُكِيًّا | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | یہ وہ لوگ ہیں جن پر اللہ نے انعام فرمایا ہے زمرۂ انبیاء میں سے آدم (علیہ السلام) کی اولاد سے ہیں اور ان (مومنوں) میں سے ہیں جنہیں ہم نے نوح (علیہ السلام) کے ساتھ کشتی میں (طوفان سے بچا کر) اٹھا لیا تھا، اور ابراہیم (علیہ السلام) کی اور اسرائیل (یعنی یعقوب علیہ السلام) کی اولاد سے ہیں اور ان (منتخب) لوگوں میں سے ہیں جنہیں ہم نے ہدایت بخشی اور برگزیدہ بنایا، جب ان پر (خدائے) رحمان کی آیتوں کی تلاوت کی جاتی ہے وہ سجدہ کرتے ہوئے اور (زار و قطار) روتے ہوئے گر پڑتے ہیں | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Those were some of the prophets on whom Allah did bestow His Grace,- of the posterity of Adam, and of those who We carried (in the Ark) with Noah, and of the posterity of Abraham and Israel of those whom We guided and chose. Whenever the Signs of (Allah) Most Gracious were rehearsed to them, they would fall down in prostrate adoration and in tears.

| 3. [19:59] | Fakhalafa min baAAdihim khalfun adaAAooalssalata waittabaAAoo alshshahawatifasawfa yalqawna ghayyan | فخلف من بعدهم خلف أضاعوا الصلاة واتبعوا الشهوات فسوف يلقون غيا فَخَلَفَ مِن بَعْدِهِمْ خَلْفٌ أَضَاعُواْ الصَّلاَةَ وَاتَّبَعُواْ الشَّهَوَاتِ فَسَوْفَ يَلْقَوْنَ غَيًّا | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | پھر ان کے بعد وہ ناخلف جانشین ہوئے جنہوں نے نمازیں ضائع کردیں اور خواہشاتِ (نفسانی) کے پیرو ہوگئے تو عنقریب وہ آخرت کے عذاب (دوزخ کی وادئ غی) سے دوچار ہوں گے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | But after them there followed a posterity who missed prayers and followed after lusts soon, then, will they face Destruction,-

| 4. [19:60] | Illa man taba waamanawaAAamila salihan faola-ika yadkhuloonaaljannata wala yuthlamoona shay-an | إلا من تاب وآمن وعمل صالحا فأولئك يدخلون الجنة ولا يظلمون شيئا إِلاَّ مَن تَابَ وَآمَنَ وَعَمِلَ صَالِحًا فَأُوْلَئِكَ يَدْخُلُونَ الْجَنَّةَ وَلاَ يُظْلَمُونَ شَيْئًا | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | سوائے اس شخص کے جس نے توبہ کر لی اور ایمان لے آیا اور نیک عمل کرتا رہا تو یہ لوگ جنت میں داخل ہوں گے اور ان پر کچھ بھی ظلم نہیں کیا جائے گا | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Except those who repent and believe, and work righteousness: for these will enter the Garden and will not be wronged in the least,-

| 5. [19:61] | Jannati AAadnin allatee waAAada alrrahmanuAAibadahu bialghaybi innahu kana waAAduhuma/tiyyan | جنات عدن التي وعد الرحمن عباده بالغيب إنه كان وعده مأتيا جَنَّاتِ عَدْنٍ الَّتِي وَعَدَ الرَّحْمَنُ عِبَادَهُ بِالْغَيْبِ إِنَّهُ كَانَ وَعْدُهُ مَأْتِيًّا | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | ایسے سدا بہار باغات میں (رہیں گے) جن کا (خدائے) رحمان نے اپنے بندوں سے غیب میں وعدہ کیا ہے، بیشک اس کا وعدہ پہنچنے ہی والا ہے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Gardens of Eternity, those which (Allah) Most Gracious has promised to His servants in the Unseen: for His promise must (necessarily) come to pass.

| 6. [19:62] | La yasmaAAoona feeha laghwanilla salaman walahum rizquhum feeha bukratanwaAAashiyyan | لا يسمعون فيها لغوا إلا سلاما ولهم رزقهم فيها بكرة وعشيا لاَ يَسْمَعُونَ فِيهَا لَغْوًا إِلاَّ سَلاَمًا وَلَهُمْ رِزْقُهُمْ فِيهَا بُكْرَةً وَعَشِيًّا | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | وہ اس میں کوئی بے ہودہ بات نہیں سنیں گے مگر (ہر طرف سے) سلام (سنائی دے گا)، ان کے لئے ان کا رزق اس میں صبح و شام (میسر) ہوگا | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | They will not there hear any vain discourse, but only salutations of Peace: And they will have therein their sustenance, morning and evening.

| 7. [19:63] | Tilka aljannatu allatee noorithu min AAibadinaman kana taqiyyan | تلك الجنة التي نورث من عبادنا من كان تقيا تِلْكَ الْجَنَّةُ الَّتِي نُورِثُ مِنْ عِبَادِنَا مَن كَانَ تَقِيًّا | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | یہ وہ جنت ہے جس کا ہم اپنے بندوں میں سے اسے وارث بنائیں گے جو متقی ہوگا | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Such is the Garden which We give as an inheritance to those of Our servants who guard against Evil.

| Words | |تلك - This| الجنة - (is) Paradise,| التي - which| نورث - We give (as) inheritance| من - [of] (to)| عبادنا - Our slaves| من - (the one) who| كان - is| تقيا - righteous.| | ||||||

[19:64] | Wama natanazzalu illa bi-amrirabbika lahu ma bayna aydeena wama khalfanawama bayna thalika wama kana rabbukanasiyyan | وما نتنزل إلا بأمر ربك له ما بين أيدينا وما خلفنا وما بين ذلك وما كان ربك نسيا وَمَا نَتَنَزَّلُ إِلاَّ بِأَمْرِ رَبِّكَ لَهُ مَا بَيْنَ أَيْدِينَا وَمَا خَلْفَنَا وَمَا بَيْنَ ذَلِكَ وَمَا كَانَ رَبُّكَ نَسِيًّا | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اور (جبرائیل میرے حبیب صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم سے کہو کہ) ہم آپ کے رب کے حکم کے بغیر (زمین پر) نہیں اتر سکتے، جو کچھ ہمارے آگے ہے اور جو کچھ ہمارے پیچھے ہے اور جو کچھ اس کے درمیان ہے (سب) اسی کا ہے، اور آپ کا رب (آپ کو) کبھی بھی بھولنے والا نہیں ہے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | (The angels say:) "We descend not but by command of thy Lord: to Him belongeth what is before us and what is behind us, and what is between: and thy Lord never doth forget,-

| Words | |وما - And not| نتنزل - we descend| إلا - except| بأمر - by (the) Command| ربك - (of) your Lord.| له - To Him (belongs)| ما - what| بين - (is) before us| أيدينا - (is) before us| وما - and what| خلفنا - (is) behind us,| وما - and what| بين - (is) between| ذلك - that.| وما - And not| كان - is| ربك - your Lord| نسيا - forgetful| | ||||||
| 9. [19:65] | Rabbu alssamawati waal-ardiwama baynahuma faoAAbudhu waistabirliAAibadatihi hal taAAlamu lahu samiyyan | رب السماوات والأرض وما بينهما فاعبده واصطبر لعبادته هل تعلم له سميا رَبُّ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا فَاعْبُدْهُ وَاصْطَبِرْ لِعِبَادَتِهِ هَلْ تَعْلَمُ لَهُ سَمِيًّا | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | (وہ) آسمانوں اور زمین کا اور جو کچھ ان دو کے درمیان ہے (سب) کا رب ہے پس اس کی عبادت کیجئے اور اس کی عبادت میں ثابت قدم رہئے، کیا آپ اس کا کوئی ہم نام جانتے ہیں | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | "Lord of the heavens and of the earth, and of all that is between them; so worship Him, and be constant and patient in His worship: knowest thou of any who is worthy of the same Name as He?"

| 10. [19:66] | Wayaqoolu al-insanu a-itha mamittu lasawfa okhraju hayyan | ويقول الإنسان أإذا ما مت لسوف أخرج حيا وَيَقُولُ الْإِنسَانُ أَئِذَا مَا مِتُّ لَسَوْفَ أُخْرَجُ حَيًّا | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اور انسان کہتا ہے: کیا جب میں مرجاؤں گا تو عنقریب زندہ کر کے نکالا جاؤں گا | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Man says: "What! When I am dead, shall I then be raised up alive?"

| Words | |ويقول - And says| الإنسان - [the] man,| أإذا - "What! When| ما - "What! When| مت - I am dead,| لسوف - surely will| أخرج - I be brought forth| حيا - alive?"| | ||||||
| 11. [19:67] | Awa la yathkuru al-insanuanna khalaqnahu min qablu walam yaku shay-an | أولا يذكر الإنسان أنا خلقناه من قبل ولم يك شيئا أَوَلاَ يَذْكُرُ الْإِنسَانُ أَنَّا خَلَقْنَاهُ مِن قَبْلُ وَلَمْ يَكُ شَيْئًا | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | کیا انسان یہ بات یاد نہیں کرتا کہ ہم نے اس سے پہلے (بھی) اسے پیدا کیا تھا جبکہ وہ کوئی چیز ہی نہ تھا | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | But does not man call to mind that We created him before out of nothing?

| Words | |أولا - Does not| يذكر - remember| الإنسان - [the] man| أنا - that We,| خلقناه - We created him| من - before,| قبل - before,| ولم - while not| يك - he was| شيئا - anything?| | ||||||
| 12. [19:68] | Fawarabbika lanahshurannahum waalshshayateenathumma lanuhdirannahum hawla jahannama jithiyyan | فوربك لنحشرنهم والشياطين ثم لنحضرنهم حول جهنم جثيا فَوَرَبِّكَ لَنَحْشُرَنَّهُمْ وَالشَّيَاطِينَ ثُمَّ لَنُحْضِرَنَّهُمْ حَوْلَ جَهَنَّمَ جِثِيًّا | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | پس آپ کے رب کی قسم ہم ان کو اور (جملہ) شیطانوں کو (قیامت کے دن) ضرور جمع کریں گے پھر ہم ان (سب) کو جہنم کے گرد ضرور حاضر کر دیں گے اس طرح کہ وہ گھٹنوں کے بل گرے پڑے ہوں گے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | So, by thy Lord, without doubt, We shall gather them together, and (also) the Evil Ones (with them); then shall We bring them forth on their knees round about Hell;

| Words | |فوربك - So by your Lord,| لنحشرنهم - surely, We will gather them| والشياطين - and the devils,| ثم - then| لنحضرنهم - surely, We will bring them| حول - around| جهنم - Hell| جثيا - bent (on) knees.| | ||||||
| 13. [19:69] | Thumma lananziAAanna min kulli sheeAAatinayyuhum ashaddu AAala alrrahmaniAAitiyyan | ثم لننزعن من كل شيعة أيهم أشد على الرحمن عتيا ثُمَّ لَنَنْزِعَنَّ مِن كُلِّ شِيعَةٍ أَيُّهُمْ أَشَدُّ عَلَى الرَّحْمَنِ عِتِيًّا | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | پھر ہم ہر گروہ سے ایسے شخص کو ضرور چن کر نکال لیں گے جو ان میں سے (خدائے) رحمان پر سب سے زیادہ نافرمان و سرکش ہوگا | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Then shall We certainly drag out from every sect all those who were worst in obstinate rebellion against (Allah) Most Gracious.

| Words | |ثم - Then| لننزعن - surely, We will drag out| من - from| كل - every| شيعة - sect,| أيهم - those of them| أشد - (who were) worst| على - against| الرحمن - the Most Gracious| عتيا - (in) rebellion.| | ||||||
| 14. [19:70] | Thumma lanahnu aAAlamu biallatheenahum awla biha siliyyan | ثم لنحن أعلم بالذين هم أولى بها صليا ثُمَّ لَنَحْنُ أَعْلَمُ بِالَّذِينَ هُمْ أَوْلَى بِهَا صِلِيًّا | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | پھر ہم ان لوگوں کو خوب جانتے ہیں جو دوزخ میں جھونکے جانے کے زیادہ سزاوار ہیں | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | And certainly We know best those who are most worthy of being burned therein.
| ||||||
| Words | |ثم - Then| لنحن - surely, We| أعلم - know best| بالذين - [of] those who| هم - [they]| أولى - (are) most worthy| بها - therein| صليا - (of) being burnt.| | ||||||
| 15. [19:71] | Wa-in minkum illa wariduhakana AAala rabbika hatman maqdiyyan | وإن منكم إلا واردها كان على ربك حتما مقضيا وَإِن مِّنكُمْ إِلاَّ وَارِدُهَا كَانَ عَلَى رَبِّكَ حَتْمًا مَّقْضِيًّا | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اور تم میں سے کوئی شخص نہیں ہے مگر اس کا اس (دوزخ) پر سے گزر ہونے والا ہے، یہ (وعدہ) قطعی طور پر آپ کے رب کے ذمہ ہے جو ضرور پورا ہوکر رہے گا | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Not one of you but will pass over it: this is, with thy Lord, a Decree which must be accomplished.

| Words | |وإن - And (there is) not| منكم - (any) of you| إلا - but| واردها - (will be) passing over it.| كان - (This) is| على - upon| ربك - your Lord| حتما - an inevitability| مقضيا - decreed.| | ||||||
| 16. [19:72] | Thumma nunajjee allatheena ittaqawwanatharu alththalimeena feehajithiyyan | ثم ننجي الذين اتقوا ونذر الظالمين فيها جثيا ثُمَّ نُنَجِّي الَّذِينَ اتَّقَوا وَّنَذَرُ الظَّالِمِينَ فِيهَا جِثِيًّا | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | پھر ہم پرہیزگاروں کو نجات دے دیں گے اور ظالموں کو اس میں گھٹنوں کے بل گرا ہوا چھوڑ دیں گے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | But We shall save those who guarded against evil, and We shall leave the wrong-doers therein, (humbled) to their knees.

| Words | |ثم - Then| ننجي - We will deliver| الذين - those who| اتقوا - feared (Allah),| ونذر - and We will leave| الظالمين - the wrongdoers| فيها - therein| جثيا - bent (on) knees.| | ||||||

[19:73] | Wa-itha tutla AAalayhim ayatunabayyinatin qala allatheena kafaroo lillatheenaamanoo ayyu alfareeqayni khayrun maqaman waahsanunadiyyan | وإذا تتلى عليهم آياتنا بينات قال الذين كفروا للذين آمنوا أي الفريقين خير مقاما وأحسن نديا وَإِذَا تُتْلَى عَلَيْهِمْ آيَاتُنَا بَيِّنَاتٍ قَالَ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا لِلَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ أَيُّ الْفَرِيقَيْنِ خَيْرٌ مَّقَامًا وَأَحْسَنُ نَدِيًّا | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اور جب ان پر ہماری روشن آیتیں تلاوت کی جاتی ہیں تو کافر لوگ ایمان والوں سے کہتے ہیں: (اسی دنیا میں دیکھ لو! ہم) دونوں گروہوں میں سے کس کی رہائش گاہ بہتر اور مجلس خوب تر ہے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | When Our Clear Signs are rehearsed to them, the Unbelievers say to those who believe, "Which of the two sides is best in point of position? Which makes the best show in council?"

| 18. [19:74] | Wakam ahlakna qablahum min qarnin humahsanu athathan wari/yan | وكم أهلكنا قبلهم من قرن هم أحسن أثاثا ورئيا وَكَمْ أَهْلَكْنَا قَبْلَهُم مِّن قَرْنٍ هُمْ أَحْسَنُ أَثَاثًا وَرِئْيًا | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اور ہم نے ان سے پہلے کتنی ہی قوموں کو ہلاک کر ڈالا جو ساز و سامانِ زندگی اور نمود و نمائش کے لحاظ سے (ان سے بھی) کہیں بہتر تھے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | But how many (countless) generations before them have we destroyed, who were even better in equipment and in glitter to the eye?

| Words | |وكم - And how many| أهلكنا - We destroyed| قبلهم - before them| من - of| قرن - a generation -| هم - they| أحسن - (were) better| أثاثا - (in) possessions| ورئيا - and appearance?| | ||||||

[19:75] | Qul man kana fee alddalalatifalyamdud lahu alrrahmanu maddan hattaitha raaw ma yooAAadoona imma alAAathabawa-imma alssaAAata fasayaAAlamoona man huwasharrun makanan waadAAafu jundan | قل من كان في الضلالة فليمدد له الرحمن مدا حتى إذا رأوا ما يوعدون إما العذاب وإما الساعة فسيعلمون من هو شر مكانا وأضعف جندا قُلْ مَن كَانَ فِي الضَّلاَلَةِ فَلْيَمْدُدْ لَهُ الرَّحْمَنُ مَدًّا حَتَّى إِذَا رَأَوْا مَا يُوعَدُونَ إِمَّا الْعَذَابَ وَإِمَّا السَّاعَةَ فَسَيَعْلَمُونَ مَنْ هُوَ شَرٌّ مَّكَانًا وَأَضْعَفُ جُندًا | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | فرما دیجئے: جو شخص گمراہی میں مبتلا ہو تو (خدائے) رحمان (بھی) اسے عمر و عیش میں خوب مہلت دیتا رہتا ہے، یہاں تک کہ جب وہ لوگ اس چیز کو دیکھ لیں گے جس کا ان سے وعدہ کیا گیا ہے خواہ عذاب اور خواہ قیامت، تب وہ اس شخص کو جان لیں گے جو رہائش گاہ کے اعتبار سے (بھی) برا ہے اور لشکر کے اعتبار سے (بھی) کمزور تر ہے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Say: "If any men go astray, (Allah) Most Gracious extends (the rope) to them, until, when they see the warning of Allah (being fulfilled) - either in punishment or in (the approach of) the Hour,- they will at length realise who is worst in position, and (who) weakest in forces!

[19:76] | Wayazeedu Allahu allatheenaihtadaw hudan waalbaqiyatu alssalihatukhayrun AAinda rabbika thawaban wakhayrun maraddan | ويزيد الله الذين اهتدوا هدى والباقيات الصالحات خير عند ربك ثوابا وخير مردا وَيَزِيدُ اللَّهُ الَّذِينَ اهْتَدَوْا هُدًى وَالْبَاقِيَاتُ الصَّالِحَاتُ خَيْرٌ عِندَ رَبِّكَ ثَوَابًا وَخَيْرٌ مَّرَدًّا | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اور اللہ ہدایت یافتہ لوگوں کی ہدایت میں مزید اضافہ فرماتا ہے، اور باقی رہنے والے نیک اعمال آپ کے رب کے نزدیک اجر و ثواب میں (بھی) بہتر ہیں اور انجام میں (بھی) خوب تر ہیں | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | "And Allah doth advance in guidance those who seek guidance: and the things that endure, Good Deeds, are best in the sight of thy Lord, as rewards, and best in respect of (their) eventual return."

| 21. [19:77] | Afaraayta allathee kafara bi-ayatinawaqala laootayanna malan wawaladan | أفرأيت الذي كفر بآياتنا وقال لأوتين مالا وولدا أَفَرَأَيْتَ الَّذِي كَفَرَ بِآيَاتِنَا وَقَالَ لَأُوتَيَنَّ مَالاً وَوَلَدًا | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | کیا آپ نے اس شخص کو دیکھا ہے جس نے ہماری آیتوں سے کفر کیا اور کہنے لگا: مجھے (قیامت کے روز بھی اسی طرح) مال و اولاد ضرور دیئے جائیں گے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Hast thou then seen the (sort of) man who rejects Our Signs, yet says: "I shall certainly be given wealth and children?"

| 22. [19:78] | AttalaAAa alghayba ami ittakhathaAAinda alrrahmani AAahdan | أطلع الغيب أم اتخذ عند الرحمن عهدا أَطَّلَعَ الْغَيْبَ أَمِ اتَّخَذَ عِندَ الرَّحْمَنِ عَهْدًا | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | وہ غیب پر مطلع ہے یا اس نے (خدائے) رحمان سے (کوئی) عہد لے رکھا ہے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Has he penetrated to the Unseen, or has he taken a contract with (Allah) Most Gracious?

| 23. [19:79] | Kalla sanaktubu ma yaqooluwanamuddu lahu mina alAAathabi maddan | كلا سنكتب ما يقول ونمد له من العذاب مدا كَلاَّ سَنَكْتُبُ مَا يَقُولُ وَنَمُدُّ لَهُ مِنَ الْعَذَابِ مَدًّا | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | ہرگز نہیں! اب ہم وہ سب کچھ لکھتے رہیں گے جو وہ کہتا ہے اور اس کے لئے عذاب (پر عذاب) خوب بڑھاتے چلے جائیں گے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Nay! We shall record what he says, and We shall add and add to his punishment.

| 24. [19:80] | Wanarithuhu ma yaqoolu waya/teenafardan | ونرثه ما يقول ويأتينا فردا وَنَرِثُهُ مَا يَقُولُ وَيَأْتِينَا فَرْدًا | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اور (مرنے کے بعد) جو یہ کہہ رہا ہے اس کے ہم ہی وارث ہوں گے اور وہ ہمارے پاس تنہا آئے گا (اس کے مال و اولاد ساتھ نہ ہوں گے) | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | To Us shall return all that he talks of and he shall appear before Us bare and alone.

| Words | |ونرثه - And We will inherit (from) him| ما - what| يقول - he says,| ويأتينا - and he will come to Us| فردا - alone.| | ||||||
| 25. [19:81] | Waittakhathoo min dooni Allahialihatan liyakoonoo lahum AAizzan | واتخذوا من دون الله آلهة ليكونوا لهم عزا وَاتَّخَذُوا مِن دُونِ اللَّهِ آلِهَةً لِّيَكُونُواْ لَهُمْ عِزًّا | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اور انہوں نے اللہ کے سوا (کئی اور) معبود بنا لئے ہیں تاکہ وہ ان کے لئے باعثِ عزت ہوں | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | And they have taken (for worship) gods other than Allah, to give them power and glory!

| Words | |واتخذوا - And they have taken| من - besides Allah,| دون - besides Allah,| الله - besides Allah,| آلهة - gods,| ليكونوا - that they may be| لهم - for them| عزا - an honor.| | ||||||
| 26. [19:82] | Kalla sayakfuroona biAAibadatihimwayakoonoona AAalayhim diddan | كلا سيكفرون بعبادتهم ويكونون عليهم ضدا كَلاَّ سَيَكْفُرُونَ بِعِبَادَتِهِمْ وَيَكُونُونَ عَلَيْهِمْ ضِدًّا | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | ہرگز (ایسا) نہیں ہے، عنقریب وہ (معبودانِ باطلہ خود) ان کی پرستش کا انکار کر دیں گے اور ان کے دشمن ہوجائیں گے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Instead, they shall reject their worship, and become adversaries against them.

| 27. [19:83] | Alam tara anna arsalna alshshayateenaAAala alkafireena taozzuhum azzan | ألم تر أنا أرسلنا الشياطين على الكافرين تؤزهم أزا أَلَمْ تَرَ أَنَّا أَرْسَلْنَا الشَّيَاطِينَ عَلَى الْكَافِرِينَ تَؤُزُّهُمْ أَزًّا | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | کیا آپ نے نہیں دیکھا کہ ہم نے شیطانوں کو کافروں پر بھیجا ہے وہ انہیں ہر وقت (اسلام کی مخالفت پر) اکساتے رہتے ہیں | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Seest thou not that We have set the Evil Ones on against the unbelievers, to incite them with fury?

| Words | |ألم - Do not| تر - you see,| أنا - that We| أرسلنا - [We] have sent| الشياطين - the devils| على - upon| الكافرين - the disbelievers,| تؤزهم - inciting them| أزا - (with) incitement.| | ||||||
| 28. [19:84] | Fala taAAjal AAalayhim innamanaAAuddu lahum AAaddan | فلا تعجل عليهم إنما نعد لهم عدا فَلاَ تَعْجَلْ عَلَيْهِمْ إِنَّمَا نَعُدُّ لَهُمْ عَدًّا | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | سو آپ ان پر (عذاب کے لئے) جلدی نہ کریں ہم تو خود ہی ان کے (انجام کے) لئے دن شمار کرتے رہتے ہیں | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | So make no haste against them, for We but count out to them a (limited) number (of days).

| 29. [19:85] | Yawma nahshuru almuttaqeena ilaalrrahmani wafdan | يوم نحشر المتقين إلى الرحمن وفدا يَوْمَ نَحْشُرُ الْمُتَّقِينَ إِلَى الرَّحْمَنِ وَفْدًا | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | جس دن ہم پرہیزگاروں کو جمع کر کے (خدائے) رحمان کے حضور (معزز مہمانوں کی طرح) سواریوں پر لے جائیں گے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | The day We shall gather the righteous to (Allah) Most Gracious, like a band presented before a king for honours,

| 30. [19:86] | Wanasooqu almujrimeena ila jahannamawirdan | ونسوق المجرمين إلى جهنم وردا وَنَسُوقُ الْمُجْرِمِينَ إِلَى جَهَنَّمَ وِرْدًا | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اور ہم مجرموں کو جہنم کی طرف پیاسا ہانک کر لے جائیں گے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | And We shall drive the sinners to Hell, like thirsty cattle driven down to water,-
