Am tureedoona an tas-aloo rasoolakum kamasu-ila moosa min qablu waman yatabaddali alkufra bial-eemanifaqad dalla sawaa alssabeeli أم تريدون أن تسألوا رسولكم كما سئل موسى من قبل ومن يتبدل الكفر بالإيمان فقد ضل سواء السبيل
أَمْ تُرِيدُونَ أَن تَسْأَلُواْ رَسُولَكُمْ كَمَا سُئِلَ مُوسَى مِن قَبْلُ وَمَن يَتَبَدَّلِ الْكُفْرَ بِالإِيمَانِ فَقَدْ ضَلَّ سَوَاءَ السَّبِيلِ

  (اے مسلمانو!) کیا تم چاہتے ہو کہ تم بھی اپنے رسول (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) سے اسی طرح سوالات کرو جیسا کہ اس سے پہلے موسیٰ (علیہ السلام) سے سوال کیے گئے تھے، تو جو کوئی ایمان کے بدلے کفر حاصل کرے پس وہ واقعۃً سیدھے راستے سے بھٹک گیا

Ahmed Aliکیا تم چاہتے ہو کہ اپنے رسول سے سوال کرو جیسے اس سے پہلے موسیٰ سے سوال کیے گئے تھے اور جو کوئی ایمان کے عوض کفر کوبدل لے سو وہ سیدھے راستہ سے گمراہ ہوا

Fateh Muhammad Jalandharyکیا تم یہ چاہتے ہو کہ اپنے پیغمبر سے اسی طرح کے سوال کرو، جس طرح کے سوال پہلے موسیٰ سے کئے گئے تھے۔ اور جس شخص نے ایمان (چھوڑ کر اس) کے بدلے کفر لیا، وہ سیدھے رستے سے بھٹک گیا
Mehmood Al Hassanکیا تم مسلمان بھی چاہتے ہو کہ سوال کرو اپنے رسول سے جیسے سوال ہو چکے ہیں موسٰی سے اس سے پہلے اور جو کوئی کفر لیوے بدلے ایمان کے تو وہ بہکا سیدھی راہ سے
Abul Ala Maududiپھر کیا تم اپنے رسول سے اس قسم کے سوالات اور مطالبہ کرنا چاہتے ہو، جیسے اس سے پہلے موسیٰؑ سے کیے جا چکے ہیں؟ حالانکہ جس شخص نے ایمان کی روش کو کفر کی روش سے بدل لیا وہ راہ راست سے بھٹک گیا

MalikDo you intend to ask questions from your Messenger (Muhammad) as Moses was questioned before? But whoever barters belief for unbelief, has indeed lost the direction of the Right Way.[108]

Hilali/Khan**Or do you want to ask your Messenger (Muhammad Peace be upon him ) as Moosa (Moses) was asked before (i.e. show us openly our Lord?) And he who changes Faith for disbelief, verily, he has gone astray from the right way.
QXP Shabbir Ahemd**Do you wish to demand of your Messenger that was demanded of Moses in the past? (People asked him vain questions in minor details and then disobeyed him (5:101)). But whoever changes his stand from the Light of conviction to the haziness of doubt, has already strayed away from the Even Way. ('Iman' and 'Kufr' translated according to the wider meanings and the context (5:101)).
