Yas-aloonaka matha yunfiqoona qul maanfaqtum min khayrin falilwalidayni waal-aqrabeenawaalyatama waalmasakeeni waibnialssabeeli wama tafAAaloo min khayrin fa-inna Allahabihi AAaleemun يسألونك ماذا ينفقون قل ما أنفقتم من خير فللوالدين والأقربين واليتامى والمساكين وابن السبيل وما تفعلوا من خير فإن الله به عليم
يَسْأَلُونَكَ مَاذَا يُنفِقُونَ قُلْ مَا أَنفَقْتُم مِّنْ خَيْرٍ فَلِلْوَالِدَيْنِ وَالأَقْرَبِينَ وَالْيَتَامَى وَالْمَسَاكِينِ وَابْنِ السَّبِيلِ وَمَا تَفْعَلُواْ مِنْ خَيْرٍ فَإِنَّ اللّهَ بِهِ عَلِيمٌ

  آپ سے پوچھتے ہیں کہ (اﷲ کی راہ میں) کیا خرچ کریں، فرما دیں: جس قدر بھی مال خرچ کرو (درست ہے)، مگر اس کے حق دار تمہارے ماں باپ ہیں اور قریبی رشتہ دار ہیں اور یتیم ہیں اور محتاج ہیں اور مسافر ہیں، اور جو نیکی بھی تم کرتے ہو بیشک اﷲ اسے خوب جاننے والا ہے

Yousuf AliThey ask thee what they should spend (In charity). Say: Whatever ye spend that is good, is for parents and kindred and orphans and those in want and for wayfarers. And whatever ye do that is good, -Allah knoweth it well.

Shabbir Ahmed پُوچھتے ہیں لوگ تم سے کہ کیا چیز خرچ کریں وہ؟ کہو جو کچھ خرچ کرو تم مال میں سے سو وہ ہے والدین کے لیے، رشتہ داروں کے لیے اور یتیموں، مسکینوں اور مسافروں کے لیے۔ اور جو بھی کرتے ہو تم کوئی بھلائی تو بیشک اللہ اس سے پُوری طرح باخبر ہے۔
Fateh Muhammad Jalandhary(اے محمدﷺ) لوگ تم سے پوچھتے ہیں کہ (خدا کی راہ میں) کس طرح کا مال خرچ کریں۔ کہہ دو کہ (جو چاہو خرچ کرو لیکن) جو مال خرچ کرنا چاہو وہ (درجہ بدرجہ اہل استحقاق یعنی) ماں باپ اور قریب کے رشتے داروں کو اور یتیموں کو اور محتاجوں کو اور مسافروں کو (سب کو دو) اور جو بھلائی تم کرو گے خدا اس کو جانتا ہے
Mehmood Al Hassanتجھ سے پوچھتے ہیں کہ کیا چیز خرچ کریں کہہ دو کہ جو کچھ تم خرچ کرو مال سو ماں باپ کے لئے اور قرابت والوں کے اور یتیموں کے اور محتاجوں کے اور مسافروں کے اور جو کچھ کرو گے تم بھلائی سو وہ بیشک اللہ کو خوب معلوم ہے
Abul Ala Maududiلوگ پوچھتے ہیں کہ ہم کیا خرچ کریں؟ جواب دو کہ جو مال بھی تم خرچ کرو اپنے والدین پر، رشتے داروں پر، یتیموں اور مسکینوں اور مسافروں پر خرچ کرو اور جو بھلائی بھی تم کرو گے، اللہ اس سے باخبر ہوگا

"What should we spend in the Cause of Allah?" Say, "Although welfare of the entire society would remain the ultimate objective, begin this goodness with your parents, family and relatives, orphans, widows, and those who are left helpless, those whose hard earned income is insufficient to meet their basic needs, those whose businesses have stalled, and those who have lost their jobs, also the needy wayfarer, the homeless son of the street, and the one who has come to your town in a destitute condition." And whatever good you do, Allah is Aware of it.
