| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |
| 1. [2:248] | Waqala lahum nabiyyuhum inna ayatamulkihi an ya/tiyakumu alttabootu feehi sakeenatunmin rabbikum wabaqiyyatun mimma taraka alu moosawaalu haroona tahmiluhu almala-ikatuinna fee thalika laayatan lakum in kuntum mu/mineena |  وقال لهم نبيهم إن آية ملكه أن يأتيكم التابوت فيه سكينة من ربكم وبقية مما ترك آل موسى وآل هارون تحمله الملائكة إن في ذلك لآية لكم إن كنتم مؤمنينوَقَالَ لَهُمْ نَبِيُّهُمْ إِنَّ آيَةَ مُلْكِهِ أَن يَأْتِيَكُمُ التَّابُوتُ فِيهِ سَكِينَةٌ مِّن رَّبِّكُمْ وَبَقِيَّةٌ مِّمَّا تَرَكَ آلُ مُوسَى وَآلُ هَارُونَ تَحْمِلُهُ الْمَلآئِكَةُ إِنَّ فِي ذَلِكَ لَآيَةً لَّكُمْ إِن كُنتُم مُّؤْمِنِينَ | |||||

| Tahir ul Qadri | اور ان کے نبی نے ان سے فرمایا: اس کی سلطنت (کے مِن جانِبِ اﷲ ہونے) کی نشانی یہ ہے کہ تمہارے پاس صندوق آئے گا اس میں تمہارے رب کی طرف سے سکونِ قلب کا سامان ہوگا اور کچھ آلِ موسٰی اور آلِ ہارون کے چھوڑے ہوئے تبرکات ہوں گے اسے فرشتوں نے اٹھایا ہوا ہوگا، اگر تم ایمان والے ہو تو بیشک اس میں تمہارے لئے بڑی نشانی ہے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | And (further) their Prophet said to them: "A Sign of his authority is that there shall come to you the Ark of the covenant, with (an assurance) therein of security from your Lord, and the relics left by the family of Moses and the family of Aaron, carried by angels. In this is a symbol for you if ye indeed have faith."

| Ahmed Raza Khan | اور ان سے ان کے نبی نے فرمایا اس کی بادشاہی کی نشانی یہ ہے کہ آئے تمہارے پاس تابوت جس میں تمہارے رب کی طرف سے دلوں کا چین ہے اور کچھ بچی ہوئی چیزیں معزز موسی ٰ او ر معزز ہارون کے ترکہ کی اٹھاتے لائیں گے اسے فرشتے، بیشک اس میں بڑی نشانی ہے تمہارے لئے اگر ایمان رکھتے ہو، | ||||||

| Fateh Muhammad Jalandhary | اور پیغمبر نے ان سے کہا کہ ان کی بادشاہی کی نشانی یہ ہے کہ تمہارے پاس ایک صندوق آئے گا جس کو فرشتے اٹھائے ہوئے ہوں گے اس میں تمہارے پروردگار کی طرف سے تسلی (بخشنے والی چیز) ہوگی اور کچھ اور چیزیں بھی ہوں گی جو موسیٰ اور ہارون چھوڑ گئے تھے۔ اگر تم ایمان رکھتے ہو تو یہ تمہارے لئے ایک بڑی نشانی ہے | ||||||
| Mehmood Al Hassan | اور کہا بنی اسرائیل سے ان کے نبی نے کہ طالوت کی سلطنت کی نشانی یہ ہے کہ آوے تمہارےپاس ایک صندوق کہ جس میں تسلی خاطر ہے تمہارے رب کی طرف سے اور کچھ بچی ہوئی چیزیں ہیں ان میں سے جو چھوڑ گئ تھی موسٰیؑ اور ہارونؑ کی اولاد اٹھا لاویں گے اس صندوق کو فرشتے بیشک | ||||||
| Abul Ala Maududi | اس کے ساتھ اُن کے نبی نے اُن کو یہ بھی بتایا کہ "خدا کی طرف سے اُس کے بادشاہ مقرر ہونے کی علامت یہ ہے کہ اس کے عہد میں وہ صندوق تمہیں واپس مل جائے گا، جس میں تمہارے رب کی طرف سے تمہارے لیے سکون قلب کا سامان ہے، جس میں آل موسیٰؑ اور آل ہارون کے چھوڑے ہوئے تبرکات ہیں، اور جس کو اس وقت فرشتے سنبھالے ہوئے ہیں اگر تم مومن ہو، تو یہ تمہارے لیے بہت بڑی نشانی ہے | ||||||

| Literal | And their prophet said to them: "That his ownership's/kingdom's sign/evidence (is) the box/chest ,(it) comes to you, in it (is) a tranquillity/calm/satisfaction from your Lord, and a remainder from what Moses' family , and Aaron's family left. The angels carry it . That in that (is a) sign/evidence (E) to you if you were believing. | ||||||

| Maulana Ali** | And their prophet said to them: Surely the sign of his kingdom is that there shall come to you the heart in which there is tranquillity from your Lord and the best of what the followers of Moses and the followers of Aaron have left, the angels bearing it. Surely there is a sign in this for you if you are believers. | ||||||
