Fawaylun lillatheena yaktuboona alkitababi-aydeehim thumma yaqooloona hatha min AAindi Allahiliyashtaroo bihi thamanan qaleelan fawaylun lahum mimmakatabat aydeehim wawaylun lahum mimma yaksiboona فويل للذين يكتبون الكتاب بأيديهم ثم يقولون هذا من عند الله ليشتروا به ثمنا قليلا فويل لهم مما كتبت أيديهم وويل لهم مما يكسبون
فَوَيْلٌ لِّـلَّذِينَ يَكْتُبُونَ الْكِتَابَ بِأَيْدِيهِمْ ثُمَّ يَقُولُونَ هَـذَا مِنْ عِندِ اللّهِ لِيَشْـتَرُواْ بِهِ ثَمَناً قَلِيلاً فَوَيْلٌ لَّهُمْ مِّمَّا كَتَبَتْ أَيْدِيهِمْ وَوَيْلٌ لَّهُمْ مِّمَّا يَكْسِبُونَ

  پس ایسے لوگوں کے لئے بڑی خرابی ہے جو اپنے ہی ہاتھوں سے کتاب لکھتے ہیں، پھر کہتے ہیں کہ یہ اللہ کی طرف سے ہے تاکہ اس کے عوض تھوڑے سے دام کما لیں، سو ان کے لئے اس (کتاب کی وجہ) سے ہلاکت ہے جو ان کے ہاتھوں نے تحریر کی اور اس (معاوضہ کی وجہ) سے تباہی ہے جو وہ کما رہے ہیں

Shabbir Ahmed پس ہلاکت اور تباہی ہے ان لوگوں کے لیے جو لکھتے ہیں تحریر خود اپنے ہاتھوں سے، پھر کہتے ہیں یہ اللہ کی طرف سے ہے تاکہ حاصل کریں اس کے بدلے میں حقیر معاوضہ۔ سو تباہی ہے ان کے لیے اس کی بنا پر جو لکھا انہوں نے اپنے ہاتھوں سے اور ہلاکت ہے ان کے لیے اس کی بنا پر جو وہ کماتے ہیں ۔
Fateh Muhammad Jalandharyتو ان لوگوں پر افسوس ہے جو اپنے ہاتھ سے تو کتاب لکھتے ہیں اور کہتے یہ ہیں کہ یہ خدا کے پاس سے (آئی) ہے، تاکہ اس کے عوض تھوڑی سے قیمت (یعنی دنیوی منفعت) حاصل کریں۔ ان پر افسوس ہے، اس لیے کہ (بےاصل باتیں) اپنے ہاتھ سے لکھتے ہیں اور (پھر) ان پر افسوس ہے، اس لیے کہ ایسے کام کرتے ہیں

Abul Ala Maududiپس ہلاکت اور تباہی ہے اُن لوگوں کے لیے جو اپنے ہاتھوں سے شرع کا نوشتہ لکھتے ہیں، پھر لوگوں سے کہتے ہیں کہ یہ اللہ کے پاس سے آیا ہوا ہے تاکہ اس کے معاوضے میں تھوڑا سا فائدہ حاصل کر لیں ان کے ہاتھوں کا لکھا بھی ان کے لیے تباہی کا سامان ہے اور ان کی یہ کمائی بھی ان کے لیے موجب ہلاکت
