Wakaayyin min qaryatin amlaytu lahawahiya thalimatun thumma akhathtuhawa-ilayya almaseeru وكأين من قرية أمليت لها وهي ظالمة ثم أخذتها وإلي المصير
وَكَأَيِّن مِّن قَرْيَةٍ أَمْلَيْتُ لَهَا وَهِيَ ظَالِمَةٌ ثُمَّ أَخَذْتُهَا وَإِلَيَّ الْمَصِيرُ

  اور کتنی ہی بستیاں (ایسی) ہیں جن کو میں نے مہلت دی حالانکہ وہ ظالم تھیں پھر میں نے انہیں (عذاب کی) گرفت میں لے لیا، اور (ہر کسی کو) میری ہی طرف لوٹ کر آنا ہے
