Wa-itha tutla AAalayhim ayatunabayyinatin taAArifu fee wujoohi allatheena kafarooalmunkara yakadoona yastoona biallatheenayatloona AAalayhim ayatina qulafaonabbi-okum bisharrin min thalikum alnnaruwaAAadaha Allahu allatheena kafaroo wabi/saalmaseeru وإذا تتلى عليهم آياتنا بينات تعرف في وجوه الذين كفروا المنكر يكادون يسطون بالذين يتلون عليهم آياتنا قل أفأنبئكم بشر من ذلكم النار وعدها الله الذين كفروا وبئس المصير
وَإِذَا تُتْلَى عَلَيْهِمْ آيَاتُنَا بَيِّنَاتٍ تَعْرِفُ فِي وُجُوهِ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا الْمُنكَرَ يَكَادُونَ يَسْطُونَ بِالَّذِينَ يَتْلُونَ عَلَيْهِمْ آيَاتِنَا قُلْ أَفَأُنَبِّئُكُم بِشَرٍّ مِّن ذَلِكُمُ النَّارُ وَعَدَهَا اللَّهُ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا وَبِئْسَ الْمَصِيرُ

  اور جب ان (کافروں) پر ہماری روشن آیتیں تلاوت کی جاتی ہیں (تو) آپ ان کافروں کے چہروں میں ناپسندیدگی (و ناگواری کے آثار) صاف دیکھ سکتے ہیں۔ ایسے لگتا ہے کہ عنقریب ان لوگوں پر جھپٹ پڑیں گے جو انہیں ہماری آیات پڑھ کر سنا رہے ہیں، آپ فرما دیجئے: (اے مضطرب ہونے والے کافرو!) کیا میں تمہیں اس سے (بھی) زیادہ تکلیف دہ چیز سے آگاہ کروں؟ (وہ دوزخ کی) آگ ہے، جس کا اﷲ نے کافروں سے وعدہ کر رکھا ہے، اور وہ بہت ہی برا ٹھکانا ہے

Yousuf AliWhen Our Clear Signs are rehearsed to them, thou wilt notice a denial on the faces of the Unbelievers! they nearly attack with violence those who rehearse Our Signs to them. Say, "Shall I tell you of something (far) worse than these Signs? It is the Fire (of Hell)! Allah has promised it to the Unbelievers! and evil is that destination!"

Ahmed Aliاور جب انہیں ہماری کھلی کھلی آیتیں پڑھ کر سنائی جائیں تو تم منکروں کے چہروں میں ناراضگی دیکھو گے قریب ہوتے ہیں کہ جو لوگ انہیں ہماری آیتیں پڑھ کر سناتے ہیں ان پر حملہ کر دیں کہہ دو کیا میں تمہیں اس سے بھی بدتر بات بتاؤں آگ ہے کہ جس کا الله نے منکروں سے وعدہ کیا ہے اور وہ بری جگہ ہے

Shabbir Ahmed اور جب تلاوت کی جاتی ہیں ان کے سامنے ہماری واضح آیات تو صاف نظر آجاتے ہیں تم کو اُن لوگوں کے چہروں پر جو کافر ہیں ناپسندیدگی کے آثار، یُوں لگتا ہےکہ ٹوٹ پڑیں گے ان لوگوں پر جو تلاوت کرتے ہیں ان کے سامنے ہماری آیات۔ کہ دو! کیا میں تم کو باتاؤں زیادہ بُری چیز اس سے بھی، وہ آگ ہے۔ جس کا وعدہ کررکھا ہے اللہ نے ان لوگوں سے جو کافر ہیں اور بہت ہی بُرا ہے وہ ٹھکانا۔
Fateh Muhammad Jalandharyاور جب ان کو ہماری آیتیں پڑھ کر سنائی جاتی تو (ان کی شکل بگڑ جاتی ہے اور) تم ان کے چہروں میں صاف طور پر ناخوشی (کے آثار) دیکھتے ہو۔ قریب ہوتے ہیں کہ جو لوگ ان کو ہماری آیتیں پڑھ کر سناتے ہیں ان پر حملہ کردیں۔ کہہ دو کہ میں تم کو اس سے بھی بری چیز بتاؤں؟ وہ دوزخ کی آگ ہے۔ جس کا خدا نے کافروں سے وعدہ کیا ہے۔ اور وہ برا ٹھکانا ہے

Abul Ala Maududiاور جب ان کو ہماری صاف صاف آیات سنائی جاتی ہیں تو تم دیکھتے ہو کہ منکرین حق کے چہرے بگڑنے لگتے ہیں اور ایسا محسُوس ہوتا ہے کہ ابھی وہ اُن لوگوں پر ٹوٹ پڑیں گے جو انہیں ہماری آیات سناتے ہیں ان سے کہو "میں بتاؤں تمہیں کہ اس سے بدتر چیز کیا ہے؟ آگ، اللہ نے اُسی کا وعدہ اُن لوگوں کے حق میں کر رکھا ہے جو قبول حق سے انکار کریں، اور وہ بہت ہی برا ٹھکانہ ہے"

SarwarWhen Our authoritative revelations are recited to the unbelievers, you can clearly read the dislike on their faces. They almost attack those who read Our revelations to them. Say to them, "Should I tell you about what is the worst thing for you than these revelations? It is the fire which God has prepared for the unbelievers. What a terrible destination!

They are almost on the verge of assaulting those who recite to them Our verses. Say, Then shall I inform you of [what is] worse than that? MalikWhen Our revelations are recited to them with all their clarity, you can notice a denial on the faces of the unbelievers. They can barely restrain themselves from assaulting those who recite Our revelations. Say to them: "Shall I tell you something which is far worse than that? It is the fire of hell, which Allah has promised to those who reject the truth; what an evil abode it will be!"[72]

Khalifa**When our revelations are recited to them, clearly, you recognize wickedness on the faces of those who disbelieve. They almost attack those who recite our revelations to them. Say, "Shall I inform you of something much worse? Hell is promised by GOD for those who disbelieve; what a miserable destiny."
Hilali/Khan**And when Our Clear Verses are recited to them, you will notice a denial on the faces of the disbelievers! They are nearly ready to attack with violence those who recite Our Verses to them. Say: "Shall I tell you of something worse than that? The Fire (of Hell) which Allah has promised to those who disbelieve, and worst indeed is that destination!"
