| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |
| 1. [24:60] | WaalqawaAAidu mina alnnisa-iallatee la yarjoona nikahan falaysaAAalayhinna junahun an yadaAAna thiyabahunnaghayra mutabarrijatin bizeenatin waan yastaAAfifna khayrunlahunna waAllahu sameeAAun AAaleemun |  والقواعد من النساء اللاتي لا يرجون نكاحا فليس عليهن جناح أن يضعن ثيابهن غير متبرجات بزينة وأن يستعففن خير لهن والله سميع عليموَالْقَوَاعِدُ مِنَ النِّسَاءِ اللَّاتِي لَا يَرْجُونَ نِكَاحًا فَلَيْسَ عَلَيْهِنَّ جُنَاحٌ أَن يَضَعْنَ ثِيَابَهُنَّ غَيْرَ مُتَبَرِّجَاتٍ بِزِينَةٍ وَأَن يَسْتَعْفِفْنَ خَيْرٌ لَّهُنَّ وَاللَّهُ سَمِيعٌ عَلِيمٌ | |||||

| Tahir ul Qadri | اور وہ بوڑھی خانہ نشین عورتیں جنہیں (اب) نکاح کی خواہش نہیں رہی ان پر اس بات میں کوئی گناہ نہیں کہ وہ اپنے (اوپر سے ڈھانپنے والے اضافی) کپڑے اتار لیں بشرطیکہ وہ (بھی) اپنی آرائش کو ظاہر کرنے والی نہ بنیں، اور اگر وہ (مزید) پرہیزگاری اختیار کریں (یعنی زائد اوڑھنے والے کپڑے بھی نہ اتاریں) تو ان کے لئے بہتر ہے، اور اللہ خوب سننے والا جاننے والا ہے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Such elderly women as are past the prospect of marriage,- there is no blame on them if they lay aside their (outer) garments, provided they make not a wanton display of their beauty: but it is best for them to be modest: and Allah is One Who sees and knows all things.

[24:62] | Innama almu/minoona allatheenaamanoo biAllahi warasoolihi wa-itha kanoomaAAahu AAala amrin jamiAAin lam yathhaboo hattayasta/thinoohu inna allatheena yasta/thinoonakaola-ika allatheena yu/minoona biAllahiwarasoolihi fa-itha ista/thanooka libaAAdisha/nihim fa/than liman shi/ta minhum waistaghfirlahumu Allaha inna Allaha ghafoorun raheemun | إنما المؤمنون الذين آمنوا بالله ورسوله وإذا كانوا معه على أمر جامع لم يذهبوا حتى يستأذنوه إن الذين يستأذنونك أولئك الذين يؤمنون بالله ورسوله فإذا استأذنوك لبعض شأنهم فأذن لمن شئت منهم واستغفر لهم الله إن الله غفور رحيم إِنَّمَا الْمُؤْمِنُونَ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا بِاللَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِ وَإِذَا كَانُوا مَعَهُ عَلَى أَمْرٍ جَامِعٍ لَمْ يَذْهَبُوا حَتَّى يَسْتَأْذِنُوهُ إِنَّ الَّذِينَ يَسْتَأْذِنُونَكَ أُوْلَئِكَ الَّذِينَ يُؤْمِنُونَ بِاللَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِ فَإِذَا اسْتَأْذَنُوكَ لِبَعْضِ شَأْنِهِمْ فَأْذَن لِّمَن شِئْتَ مِنْهُمْ وَاسْتَغْفِرْ لَهُمُ اللَّهَ إِنَّ اللَّهَ غَفُورٌ رَّحِيمٌ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | ایمان والے تو وہی لوگ ہیں جو اللہ پر اور اس کے رسول (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) پر ایمان لے آئے ہیں اور جب وہ آپ کے ساتھ کسی ایسے (اجتماعی) کام پر حاضر ہوں جو (لوگوں کو) یکجا کرنے والا ہو تو وہاں سے چلے نہ جا ئیں (یعنی امت میں اجتماعیت اور وحدت پیدا کرنے کے عمل میں دل جمعی سے شریک ہوں) جب تک کہ وہ (کسی خاص عذر کے باعث) آپ سے اجازت نہ لے لیں، (اے رسولِ معظّم!) بیشک جو لوگ (آپ ہی کو حاکم اور مَرجَع سمجھ کر) آپ سے اجازت طلب کرتے ہیں وہی لوگ اللہ اور اس کے رسول (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) پر ایمان رکھنے والے ہیں، پھر جب وہ آپ سے اپنے کسی کام کے لئے (جانے کی) اجازت چاہیں تو آپ (حاکم و مختار ہیں) ان میں سے جسے چاہیں اجازت مرحمت فرما دیں اور ان کے لئے (اپنی مجلس سے اجازت لے کر جانے پر بھی) اللہ سے بخشش مانگیں (کہ کہیں اتنی بات پر بھی گرفت نہ ہو جائے)، بیشک اللہ بڑا بخشنے والا نہایت مہربان ہے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Only those are believers, who believe in Allah and His Messenger: when they are with him on a matter requiring collective action, they do not depart until they have asked for his leave; those who ask for thy leave are those who believe in Allah and His Messenger; so when they ask for thy leave, for some business of theirs, give leave to those of them whom thou wilt, and ask Allah for their forgiveness: for Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.

[24:63] | La tajAAaloo duAAaa alrrasoolibaynakum kaduAAa-i baAAdikum baAAdan qadyaAAlamu Allahu allatheena yatasallaloona minkumliwathan falyahthari allatheena yukhalifoonaAAan amrihi an tuseebahum fitnatun aw yuseebahumAAathabun aleemun | لا تجعلوا دعاء الرسول بينكم كدعاء بعضكم بعضا قد يعلم الله الذين يتسللون منكم لواذا فليحذر الذين يخالفون عن أمره أن تصيبهم فتنة أو يصيبهم عذاب أليم لَا تَجْعَلُوا دُعَاءَ الرَّسُولِ بَيْنَكُمْ كَدُعَاءِ بَعْضِكُم بَعْضًا قَدْ يَعْلَمُ اللَّهُ الَّذِينَ يَتَسَلَّلُونَ مِنكُمْ لِوَاذًا فَلْيَحْذَرِ الَّذِينَ يُخَالِفُونَ عَنْ أَمْرِهِ أَن تُصِيبَهُمْ فِتْنَةٌ أَوْ يُصِيبَهُمْ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | (اے مسلمانو!) تم رسول کے بلانے کو آپس میں ایک دوسرے کو بلانے کی مثل قرار نہ دو (جب رسولِ اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کو بلانا تمہارے باہمی بلاوے کی مثل نہیں تو خود رسول صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کی ذاتِ گرامی تمہاری مثل کیسے ہو سکتی ہے)، بیشک اللہ ایسے لوگوں کو (خوب) جانتا ہے جو تم میں سے ایک دوسرے کی آڑ میں (دربارِ رسالت صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم سے) چپکے سے کھسک جاتے ہیں، پس وہ لوگ ڈریں جو رسول (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کے امرِ (ادب) کی خلاف ورزی کر رہے ہیں کہ (دنیا میں ہی) انہیں کوئی آفت آپہنچے گی یا (آخرت میں) ان پر دردناک عذاب آن پڑے گا | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Deem not the summons of the Messenger among yourselves like the summons of one of you to another: Allah doth know those of you who slip away under shelter of some excuse: then let those beware who withstand the Messenger's order, lest some trial befall them, or a grievous penalty be inflicted on them.

[24:64] | Ala inna lillahi ma feealssamawati waal-ardi qadyaAAlamu ma antum AAalayhi wayawma yurjaAAoona ilayhifayunabbi-ohum bima AAamiloo waAllahubikulli shay-in AAaleemun | ألا إن لله ما في السماوات والأرض قد يعلم ما أنتم عليه ويوم يرجعون إليه فينبئهم بما عملوا والله بكل شيء عليم أَلَا إِنَّ لِلَّهِ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ قَدْ يَعْلَمُ مَا أَنتُمْ عَلَيْهِ وَيَوْمَ يُرْجَعُونَ إِلَيْهِ فَيُنَبِّئُهُم بِمَا عَمِلُوا وَاللَّهُ بِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ عَلِيمٌ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | خبردار! جو کچھ آسمانوں اور زمین میں ہے (سب) اللہ ہی کا ہے، وہ یقیناً جانتا ہے جس حال پر تم ہو (ایمان پر ہو یا منافقت پر)، اور جس دن لوگ اس کی طرف لوٹائے جائیں گے تو وہ انہیں بتا دے گا جو کچھ وہ کیا کرتے تھے اور اللہ ہر چیز کو خوب جاننے والا ہے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Be quite sure that to Allah doth belong whatever is in the heavens and on earth. Well doth He know what ye are intent upon: and one day they will be brought back to Him, and He will tell them the truth of what they did: for Allah doth know all things.
