| 1. [26:126] | Faittaqoo Allaha waateeAAooni |  فاتقوا الله وأطيعونفَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ وَأَطِيعُونِ | |||||

| 2. [26:129] | Watattakhithoona masaniAAalaAAallakum takhludoona | وتتخذون مصانع لعلكم تخلدون وَتَتَّخِذُونَ مَصَانِعَ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَخْلُدُونَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اور تم (تالابوں والے) مضبوط محلات بناتے ہو اس امید پر کہ تم (دنیا میں) ہمیشہ رہو گے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | "And do ye get for yourselves fine buildings in the hope of living therein (for ever)?

| Words | |وتتخذون - And take for yourselves| مصانع - strongholds| لعلكم - that you may| تخلدون - live forever?| | ||||||
| 3. [26:65] | Waanjayna moosa waman maAAahuajmaAAeena | وأنجينا موسى ومن معه أجمعين وَأَنجَيْنَا مُوسَى وَمَن مَّعَهُ أَجْمَعِينَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اور ہم نے موسٰی علیہ السلام کو (بھی) نجات بخشی اور ان سب لوگوں کو (بھی) جو ان کے ساتھ تھے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | We delivered Moses and all who were with him;
| ||||||
| Words | |وأنجينا - And We saved| موسى - Musa| ومن - and who| معه - (were) with him| أجمعين - all.| | ||||||
| 4. [26:67] | Inna fee thalika laayatan wamakana aktharuhum mu/mineena | إن في ذلك لآية وما كان أكثرهم مؤمنين إِنَّ فِي ذَلِكَ لَآيَةً وَمَا كَانَ أَكْثَرُهُم مُّؤْمِنِينَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | بیشک اس (واقعہ) میں (قدرتِ الٰہیہ) کی بڑی نشانی ہے، اور ان میں سے اکثر لوگ مومن نہ تھے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Verily in this is a Sign: but most of them do not believe.
| ||||||
| Words | |إن - Indeed,| في - in| ذلك - that| لآية - surely (is) a Sign,| وما - but not| كان - are| أكثرهم - most of them| مؤمنين - believers.| | ||||||
| 5. [26:68] | Wa-inna rabbaka lahuwa alAAazeezu alrraheemu | وإن ربك لهو العزيز الرحيم وَإِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَهُوَ الْعَزِيزُ الرَّحِيمُ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اور بیشک آپ کا رب ہی یقیناً غالب رحمت والا ہے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | And verily thy Lord is He, the Exalted in Might, Most Merciful.

| Words | |وإن - And indeed,| ربك - your Lord,| لهو - surely He| العزيز - (is) the All-Mighty,| الرحيم - the Most Merciful.| | ||||||
| 6. [26:70] | Ith qala li-abeehi waqawmihi mataAAbudoona | إذ قال لأبيه وقومه ما تعبدون إِذْ قَالَ لِأَبِيهِ وَقَوْمِهِ مَا تَعْبُدُونَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | جب انہوں نے اپنے باپ ٭ اور اپنی قوم سے فرمایا: تم کس چیز کو پوجتے ہو | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Behold, he said to his father and his people: "What worship ye?"
| ||||||
| Words | |إذ - When| قال - he said| لأبيه - to his father| وقومه - and his people,| ما - "What| تعبدون - (do) you worship?"| | ||||||
| 7. [26:71] | Qaloo naAAbudu asnamanfanathallu laha AAakifeena | قالوا نعبد أصناما فنظل لها عاكفين قَالُوا نَعْبُدُ أَصْنَامًا فَنَظَلُّ لَهَا عَاكِفِينَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | انہوں نے کہا: ہم بتوں کی پرستش کرتے ہیں اور ہم انہی (کی عبادت و خدمت) کے لئے جمے رہنے والے ہیں | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | They said: "We worship idols, and we remain constantly in attendance on them."

| Words | |قالوا - They said,| نعبد - "We worship| أصناما - idols,| فنظل - so we will remain| لها - to them| عاكفين - devoted."| | ||||||
| 8. [26:130] | Wa-itha batashtum batashtumjabbareena | وإذا بطشتم بطشتم جبارين وَإِذَا بَطَشْتُم بَطَشْتُمْ جَبَّارِينَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اور جب تم کسی کی گرفت کرتے ہو تو سخت ظالم و جابر بن کر گرفت کرتے ہو | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | "And when ye exert your strong hand, do ye do it like men of absolute power?
| ||||||
| Words | |وإذا - And when| بطشتم - you seize,| بطشتم - you seize| جبارين - (as) tyrants.| | ||||||
| 9. [26:131] | Faittaqoo Allaha waateeAAooni | فاتقوا الله وأطيعون فَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ وَأَطِيعُونِ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | سو تم اللہ سے ڈرو اور میری فرمانبرداری اختیار کرو | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | "Now fear Allah, and obey me.

| 10. [26:133] | Amaddakum bi-anAAamin wabaneena | أمدكم بأنعام وبنين أَمَدَّكُم بِأَنْعَامٍ وَبَنِينَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اس نے تمہاری چوپایہ جانوروں اور اولاد سے مدد فرمائی | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | "Freely has He bestowed on you cattle and sons,-
| ||||||
| Words | |أمدكم - He has aided you| بأنعام - with cattle| وبنين - and children,| | ||||||
| 11. [26:72] | Qala hal yasmaAAoonakum ithtadAAoona | قال هل يسمعونكم إذ تدعون قَالَ هَلْ يَسْمَعُونَكُمْ إِذْ تَدْعُونَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | (ابراہیم علیہ السلام نے) فرمایا: کیا وہ تمہیں سنتے ہیں جب تم (ان کو) پکارتے ہو | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | He said: "Do they listen to you when ye call (on them)?"

| Words | |قال - He said,| هل - "Do| يسمعونكم - they hear you| إذ - when| تدعون - you call?| | ||||||
| 12. [26:74] | Qaloo bal wajadna abaanakathalika yafAAaloona | قالوا بل وجدنا آباءنا كذلك يفعلون قَالُوا بَلْ وَجَدْنَا آبَاءَنَا كَذَلِكَ يَفْعَلُونَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | وہ بولے: (یہ تو معلوم نہیں) لیکن ہم نے اپنے باپ دادا کو ایسا ہی کرتے پایا تھا | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | They said: "Nay, but we found our fathers doing thus (what we do)."
| ||||||
| Words | |قالوا - They said,| بل - "Nay,| وجدنا - but we found| آباءنا - our forefathers| كذلك - like that -| يفعلون - doing."| | ||||||
| 13. [26:75] | Qala afaraaytum ma kuntumtaAAbudoona | قال أفرأيتم ما كنتم تعبدون قَالَ أَفَرَأَيْتُم مَّا كُنتُمْ تَعْبُدُونَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | (ابراہیم علیہ السلام نے) فرمایا: کیا تم نے (کبھی ان کی حقیقت میں) غور کیا ہے جن کی تم پرستش کرتے ہو | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | He said: "Do ye then see whom ye have been worshipping,-
| ||||||
| Words | |قال - He said,| أفرأيتم - "Do you see| ما - what| كنتم - you have been| تعبدون - worshipping,| | ||||||
| 14. [26:77] | Fa-innahum AAaduwwun lee illa rabbaalAAalameena | فإنهم عدو لي إلا رب العالمين فَإِنَّهُمْ عَدُوٌّ لِّي إِلَّا رَبَّ الْعَالَمِينَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | پس وہ (سب بُت) میرے دشمن ہیں سوائے تمام جہانوں کے رب کے (وہی میرا معبود ہے) | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | "For they are enemies to me; not so the Lord and Cherisher of the Worlds;

| Words | |فإنهم - Indeed, they| عدو - (are) enemies| لي - to me,| إلا - except| رب - (the) Lord| العالمين - (of) the worlds,| | ||||||
| 15. [26:82] | Waallathee atmaAAu anyaghfira lee khatee-atee yawma alddeeni | والذي أطمع أن يغفر لي خطيئتي يوم الدين وَالَّذِي أَطْمَعُ أَن يَغْفِرَ لِي خَطِيئَتِي يَوْمَ الدِّينِ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اور اسی سے میں امید رکھتا ہوں کہ روزِ قیامت وہ میری خطائیں معاف فرما دے گا | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | "And who, I hope, will forgive me my faults on the day of Judgment.
| ||||||
| Words | |والذي - And the One Who -| أطمع - I hope| أن - that| يغفر - He will forgive| لي - for me| خطيئتي - my faults| يوم - (on the) Day| الدين - (of) the Judgment.| | ||||||
| 16. [26:134] | Wajannatin waAAuyoonin | وجنات وعيون وَجَنَّاتٍ وَعُيُونٍ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اور باغات اور چشموں سے (بھی) | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | "And Gardens and Springs.
| ||||||
| Words | |وجنات - And gardens| وعيون - and springs.| | ||||||
| 17. [26:138] | Wama nahnu bimuAAaththabeena | وما نحن بمعذبين وَمَا نَحْنُ بِمُعَذَّبِينَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اور ہم پر عذاب نہیں کیا جائے گا | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | "And we are not the ones to receive Pains and Penalties!"
| ||||||
| Words | |وما - And not| نحن - we| بمعذبين - (are) the ones to be punished."| | ||||||
| 18. [26:141] | Kaththabat thamoodu almursaleena | كذبت ثمود المرسلين كَذَّبَتْ ثَمُودُ الْمُرْسَلِينَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | (قومِ) ثمود نے (بھی) پیغمبروں کو جھٹلایا | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | The Thamud (people) rejected the messengers.
| ||||||
| Words | |كذبت - Denied| ثمود - Thamud,| المرسلين - the Messengers| | ||||||
| 19. [26:143] | Innee lakum rasoolun ameenun | إني لكم رسول أمين إِنِّي لَكُمْ رَسُولٌ أَمِينٌ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | بیشک میں تمہارے لئے امانت دار رسول (بن کر آیا) ہوں | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | "I am to you a messenger worthy of all trust.
| ||||||
| Words | |إني - Indeed, I am| لكم - to you| رسول - a Messenger| أمين - trustworthy.| | ||||||
| 20. [26:83] | Rabbi hab lee hukman waalhiqneebialssaliheena | رب هب لي حكما وألحقني بالصالحين رَبِّ هَبْ لِي حُكْمًا وَأَلْحِقْنِي بِالصَّالِحِينَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اے میرے رب! مجھے علم و عمل میں کمال عطا فرما اور مجھے اپنے قربِ خاص کے سزاواروں میں شامل فرما لے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | "O my Lord! bestow wisdom on me, and join me with the righteous;
| ||||||
| Words | |رب - My Lord!| هب - Grant| لي - [for] me| حكما - wisdom| وألحقني - and join me| بالصالحين - with the righteous.| | ||||||
| 21. [26:84] | WaijAAal lee lisana sidqinfee al-akhireena | واجعل لي لسان صدق في الآخرين وَاجْعَل لِّي لِسَانَ صِدْقٍ فِي الْآخِرِينَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اور میرے لئے بعد میں آنے والوں میں (بھی) ذکرِ خیر اور قبولیت جاری فرما | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | "Grant me honourable mention on the tongue of truth among the latest (generations);
| ||||||
| Words | |واجعل - And grant| لي - [for] me| لسان - a mention| صدق - (of) honor| في - among| الآخرين - the later (generations).| | ||||||
| 22. [26:85] | WaijAAalnee min warathati jannati alnnaAAeemi | واجعلني من ورثة جنة النعيم وَاجْعَلْنِي مِن وَرَثَةِ جَنَّةِ النَّعِيمِ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اور مجھے نعمتوں والی جنت کے وارثوں میں سے بنا دے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | "Make me one of the inheritors of the Garden of Bliss;
| ||||||
| Words | |واجعلني - And make me| من - of| ورثة - (the) inheritors| جنة - (of) Garden(s)| النعيم - (of) Delight.| | ||||||
| 23. [26:86] | Waighfir li-abee innahu kanamina alddalleena | واغفر لأبي إنه كان من الضالين وَاغْفِرْ لِأَبِي إِنَّهُ كَانَ مِنَ الضَّالِّينَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اور میرے باپ کو بخش دے بیشک وہ گمراہوں میں سے تھا | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | "Forgive my father, for that he is among those astray;
| ||||||
| Words | |واغفر - And forgive| لأبي - my father.| إنه - Indeed, he| كان - is| من - of| الضالين - those astray.| | ||||||
| 24. [26:88] | Yawma la yanfaAAu malun walabanoona | يوم لا ينفع مال ولا بنون يَوْمَ لَا يَنفَعُ مَالٌ وَلَا بَنُونَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | جس دن نہ کوئی مال نفع دے گا اور نہ اولاد | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | "The Day whereon neither wealth nor sons will avail,
| ||||||
| Words | |يوم - (The) Day| لا - not| ينفع - will benefit| مال - wealth| ولا - and not| بنون - sons,| | ||||||

| Tahir ul Qadri | اور کھیتوں اور کھجوروں میں جن کے خوشے نرم و نازک ہوتے ہیں | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | "And corn-fields and date-palms with spathes near breaking (with the weight of fruit)?

| Words | |وزروع - And cornfields| ونخل - and date-palms| طلعها - its spadix| هضيم - soft?| | ||||||

| Tahir ul Qadri | مگر وہی شخص (نفع مند ہوگا) جو اللہ کی بارگاہ میں سلامتی والے بے عیب دل کے ساتھ حاضر ہوا | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | "But only he (will prosper) that brings to Allah a sound heart;
| ||||||

| Tahir ul Qadri | اور ان سے کہا جائے گا: وہ (بت) کہاں ہیں جنہیں تم پوجتے تھے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | "And it shall be said to them: 'Where are the (gods) ye worshipped-
