Alam tara annahum fee kulli wadinyaheemoona ألم تر أنهم في كل واد يهيمون
أَلَمْ تَرَ أَنَّهُمْ فِي كُلِّ وَادٍ يَهِيمُونَ

  کیا تو نے نہیں دیکھا کہ وہ (شعراء) ہر وادئ (خیال) میں (یونہی) سرگرداں پھرتے رہتے ہیں (انہیں حق میں سچی دلچسپی اور سنجیدگی نہیں ہوتی بلکہ فقط لفظی و فکری جولانیوں میں مست اور خوش رہتے ہیں)
