Watara aljibala tahsabuhajamidatan wahiya tamurru marra alssahabi sunAAaAllahi allathee atqana kulla shay-in innahukhabeerun bima tafAAaloona وترى الجبال تحسبها جامدة وهي تمر مر السحاب صنع الله الذي أتقن كل شيء إنه خبير بما تفعلون
وَتَرَى الْجِبَالَ تَحْسَبُهَا جَامِدَةً وَهِيَ تَمُرُّ مَرَّ السَّحَابِ صُنْعَ اللَّهِ الَّذِي أَتْقَنَ كُلَّ شَيْءٍ إِنَّهُ خَبِيرٌ بِمَا تَفْعَلُونَ
Tahir ul Qadri

  اور (اے انسان!) تو پہاڑوں کو دیکھے گا تو خیال کرے گا کہ جمے ہوئے ہیں حالانکہ وہ بادل کے اڑنے کی طرح اڑ رہے ہوں گے۔ (یہ) اللہ کی کاریگری ہے جس نے ہر چیز کو (حکمت و تدبیر کے ساتھ) مضبوط و مستحکم بنا رکھا ہے۔ بیشک وہ ان سب (کاموں) سے خبردار ہے جو تم کرتے ہو

Yousuf AliThou seest the mountains and thinkest them firmly fixed: but they shall pass away as the clouds pass away: (such is) the artistry of Allah, who disposes of all things in perfect order: for he is well acquainted with all that ye do.

Ahmed Aliاور تو جو پہاڑوں کو جمے ہوئے دیکھ رہا ہے یہ تو بادلوں کی طرح اڑتے پھریں گے اس الله کی کاریگری سے جس نے ہر چیز کو مضبوط بنا رکھا ہے اسے خبر ہے جو تم کرتے ہو

Shabbir Ahmed اور دیکھو گے تم پہاڑوں کو تو ایسا گمان ہوگا تمہیں کہ وہ جمے ہُوئے ہیں حالانکہ وہ چل رہے ہوں گے جیسے بادل چلتے ہیں، یہ کرشمہ ہے اس اللہ کا جس نے حکمت کے ساتھ استوار کیا ہر چیز کو۔ بے شک وہ باخبر ہے ہر اس بات سے جو تم کرتے ہو۔
Fateh Muhammad Jalandharyاور تم پہاڑوں کو دیکھتے ہو تو خیال کرتے ہو کہ (اپنی جگہ پر) کھڑے ہیں مگر وہ (اس روز) اس طرح اُڑے پھریں گے جیسے بادل۔ (یہ) خدا کی کاریگری ہے جس نے ہر چیز کو مضبوط بنایا۔ بےشک وہ تمہارے سب افعال سے باخبر ہے
Mehmood Al Hassanاور تو دیکھے پہاڑوں کو سمجھے کہ وہ جم رہے ہیں اور وہ چلیں گے جیسے چلے بادل کاریگری اللہ کی جس نے سادھا ہے ہر چیز کو اس کو خبر ہے جو کچھ تم کرتے ہو
Abul Ala Maududiآج تو پہاڑوں کو دیکھتا ہے اور سمجھتا ہے کہ خوب جمے ہوئے ہیں، مگر اُس وقت یہ بادلوں کی طرح اڑ رہے ہوں گے، یہ اللہ کی قدرت کا کرشمہ ہو گا جس نے ہر چیز کو حکمت کے ساتھ استوار کیا ہے وہ خوب جانتا ہے کہ تم لوگ کیا کرتے ہو

LiteralAnd you see the mountains (that) you think/suppose it (is) hard/solid (motionless), and it passes the clouds' passage , God's making/performing , who perfected every thing, that He truly is expert/experienced with (about) what you make/do.

PickthalAnd thou seest the hills thou deemest solid flying with the flight of clouds: the doing of Allah Who perfecteth all things. Lo! He is Informed of what ye do.
Arberry and thou shalt see the mountains, that thou supposest fixed, passing by like clouds -- God's handiwork, who has created everything very well. He is aware of the things you do.
ShakirAnd you see the mountains, you think them to be solid, and they shall pass away as the passing away of the cloud-- the handiwork of Allah Who has made every thing thoroughly; surely He is Aware of what you do.
SarwarYou think the mountains are solid. In fact, they move like clouds. It is God's technique which has established everything perfectly. He is well Aware of what you do.
H/K/SaheehAnd you see the mountains, thinking them rigid, while they will pass as the passing of clouds. [It is] the work of Allah, who perfected all things. Indeed, He is Acquainted with that which you do.
Malikthese mountains which you see and think are firmly fixed, will pass away like clouds. Such is the might of Allah, Who has perfected all things. He is aware of what you do.[88]
Maulana Ali**And thou seest the mountains -- thou thinkest them firmly fixed -- passing away as the passing away of the cloud: the handiwork of Allah, Who has made everything thoroughly. Surely He is Aware of what you do.
Free MindsAnd you see the mountains, you think they are solid, while they are passing by like the clouds. The making of God who perfected everything. He is Expert over what you do.
Qaribullah And you will see the mountains which you think to be firm pass by like clouds. (Such is the) making of Allah, who has created everything well. He is Aware of the things you do.
George SaleAnd thou shalt see the mountains, and shalt think them firmly fixed; but they shall pass away, even as the clouds pass away. This will be the work of God, who hath rightly disposed all things: And He is well acquainted with that which ye do.

In this particular instance, stress is laid on the God-willed transitory nature of the world, as we know it, (cf. 14:48 and 20:105 - 107, and the corresponding notes) in contrast with the lasting reality of the life to come.] Verily, He is fully aware of all that you do!
Khalifa**When you look at the mountains, you think that they are standing still. But they are moving, like the clouds. Such is the manufacture of GOD, who perfected everything. He is fully Cognizant of everything you do.
Hilali/Khan**And you will see the mountains and think them solid, but they shall pass away as the passing away of the clouds. The Work of Allah, Who perfected all things, verily! He is Well-Acquainted with what you do.
QXP Shabbir Ahemd**And the powerful elite that you deem firm as mountains, will float around like weightless clouds. Such is the Design of Allah Who disposes off all things in perfect order. Verily, He is fully Aware of what you do.
