| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |
| 1. [28:45] | Walakinna ansha-naquroonan fatatawala AAalayhimu alAAumuru wama kuntathawiyan fee ahli madyana tatloo AAalayhim ayatinawalakinna kunna mursileena |  ولكنا أنشأنا قرونا فتطاول عليهم العمر وما كنت ثاويا في أهل مدين تتلو عليهم آياتنا ولكنا كنا مرسلينوَلَكِنَّا أَنشَأْنَا قُرُونًا فَتَطَاوَلَ عَلَيْهِمُ الْعُمُرُ وَمَا كُنتَ ثَاوِيًا فِي أَهْلِ مَدْيَنَ تَتْلُواْ عَلَيْهِمْ آيَاتِنَا وَلَكِنَّا كُنَّا مُرْسِلِينَ | |||||

| Tahir ul Qadri | لیکن ہم نے (موسٰی علیہ السلام کے بعد یکے بعد دیگرے) کئی قومیں پیدا فرمائیں پھر ان پر طویل مدّت گزر گئی، اور نہ (ہی) آپ (موسٰی اور شعیب علیہما السلام کی طرح) اہل مدین میں مقیم تھے کہ آپ ان پر ہماری آیتیں پڑھ کر سناتے ہوں لیکن ہم ہی (آپ کو اخبارِ غیب سے سرفراز فرما کر) مبعوث فرمانے والے ہیں | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | But We raised up (new) generations, and long were the ages that passed over them; but thou wast not a dweller among the people of Madyan, rehearsing Our Signs to them; but it is We Who send messengers (with inspiration).
