Kullu nafsin tha-iqatu almawtiwa-innama tuwaffawna ojoorakum yawma alqiyamatifaman zuhziha AAani alnnari waodkhilaaljannata faqad faza wama alhayatu alddunyailla mataAAu alghuroori كل نفس ذائقة الموت وإنما توفون أجوركم يوم القيامة فمن زحزح عن النار وأدخل الجنة فقد فاز وما الحياة الدنيا إلا متاع الغرور
كُلُّ نَفْسٍ ذَآئِقَةُ الْمَوْتِ وَإِنَّمَا تُوَفَّوْنَ أُجُورَكُمْ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ فَمَن زُحْزِحَ عَنِ النَّارِ وَأُدْخِلَ الْجَنَّةَ فَقَدْ فَازَ وَما الْحَيَاةُ الدُّنْيَا إِلاَّ مَتَاعُ الْغُرُورِ

  ہر جان موت کا مزہ چکھنے والی ہے، اور تمہارے اجر پورے کے پورے تو قیامت کے دن ہی دئیے جائیں گے، پس جو کوئی دوزخ سے بچا لیا گیا اور جنت میں داخل کیا گیا وہ واقعۃً کامیاب ہو گیا، اور دنیا کی زندگی دھوکے کے مال کے سوا کچھ بھی نہیں

Yousuf AliEvery soul shall have a taste of death: And only on the Day of Judgment shall you be paid your full recompense. Only he who is saved far from the Fire and admitted to the Garden will have attained the object (of Life): For the life of this world is but goods and chattels of deception.

Ahmed Aliہر جان موت کا مزہ چکھنے والی ہے اور تمہیں قیامت کے دن پورے پورے بدلے ملیں گے پھر جو کوئی دوزخ سے دور رکھا گیا اور بہشت میں داخل کیا گیا سو وہ پورا کامیاب ہوا اور دنیا کی زندگی سوائے دھوکے کی پونجی کے اور کچھ نہیں
Ahmed Raza Khanہر جان کو موت چکھنی ہے، اور تمہارے بدلے تو قیامت ہی کو پورے ملیں گے، جو آگ سے بچا کر جنت میں داخل کیا گیا وہ مراد کو پہنچا، اور دنیا کی زندگی تو یہی دھوکے کا مال ہے
Shabbir Ahmed ہر جان کو چکھنا ہے مزا موت کا اور بس دیے جائیں گے تم کو پُورے اجر تمہارے (اعمال کے) روزِ قیامت، پس جو بچالیا گیا آگ سے اور داخل کردیا گیا جنّت میں تو بے شک کامیاب ہوگیا وہ اور نہیں ہے دُنیاوی زندگی مگر محض سامان دھوکے کا۔

Abul Ala Maududiآخر کار ہر شخص کو مرنا ہے اور تم سب اپنے اپنے پورے اجر قیامت کے روز پانے والے ہو کامیاب دراصل وہ ہے جو وہاں آتش دوزخ سے بچ جائے اور جنت میں داخل کر دیا جائے رہی یہ دنیا، تو یہ محض ایک ظاہر فریب چیز ہے

LiteralEvery self (is) tasting/experiencing the death, and but you are being fulfilled/completed your rewards (on) the Resurrection Day, so who was removed from the fire, and made to enter the Paradise, so he had won/succeeded/triumphed, and the present world/worldly life is not except the deceit's/temptation's enjoyment.

QXP Shabbir Ahemd**Every living being shall have to taste death. On the Resurrection Day you shall be paid in full what you have earned. Whoever is drawn away from the Fire, and gets admitted to Paradise, will have gained supreme triumph. Those who consider the life of the world as the end in itself should know that it is only a comfort of self-deception. The real success depends on striving for this world and for the Hereafter (2:201), (10:63-64), (14:27).
