Waitha athaqna alnnasarahmatan farihoo biha wa-in tusibhumsayyi-atun bima qaddamat aydeehim itha hum yaqnatoona وإذا أذقنا الناس رحمة فرحوا بها وإن تصبهم سيئة بما قدمت أيديهم إذا هم يقنطون
وَإِذَا أَذَقْنَا النَّاسَ رَحْمَةً فَرِحُوا بِهَا وَإِن تُصِبْهُمْ سَيِّئَةٌ بِمَا قَدَّمَتْ أَيْدِيهِمْ إِذَا هُمْ يَقْنَطُونَ

  اور جب ہم لوگوں کو رحمت سے لطف اندوز کرتے ہیں تو وہ اس سے خوش ہو جاتے ہیں، اور جب انہیں کوئی تکلیف پہنچتی ہے ان (گناہوں) کے باعث جو وہ پہلے سے کر چکے ہیں تو وہ فوراً مایوس ہو جاتے ہیں

Ahmed Aliاور جب ہم لوگوں کو رحمت کا مزہ چکھاتے ہیں تو اس پر خوش ہوجاتے ہیں اور اگر انہیں ان کے گذشتہ اعمال کے سبب سے دکھ پہنچتا ہے تو فوراً نا امید ہو جاتے ہیں

Hilali/Khan**And when We cause mankind to taste of mercy, they rejoice therein, but when some evil afflicts them because of (evil deeds and sins) that their (own) hands have sent forth, lo! They are in despair!
