Inna hatha akhee lahu tisAAunwatisAAoona naAAjatan waliya naAAjatun wahidatun faqalaakfilneeha waAAazzanee fee alkhitabi إن هذا أخي له تسع وتسعون نعجة ولي نعجة واحدة فقال أكفلنيها وعزني في الخطاب
إِنَّ هَذَا أَخِي لَهُ تِسْعٌ وَتِسْعُونَ نَعْجَةً وَلِيَ نَعْجَةٌ وَاحِدَةٌ فَقَالَ أَكْفِلْنِيهَا وَعَزَّنِي فِي الْخِطَابِ

  بے شک یہ میرا بھائی ہے، اِس کی ننانوے دُنبیاں ہیں اور میرے پاس ایک ہی دُنبی ہے، پھر کہتا ہے یہ (بھی) میرے حوالہ کر دو اور گفتگو میں (بھی) مجھے دبا لیتا ہے

Abul Ala Maududiیہ میرا بھائی ہے، اِس کے پاس ننانوے دنبیاں ہیں اور میرے پاس صرف ایک ہی دُنبی ہے اِس نے مجھ سے کہا کہ یہ ایک دنبی بھی میرے حوالے کر دے اور اس نے گفتگو میں مجھے دبا لیا"
