FaoAAbudoo ma shi/tum mindoonihi qul inna alkhasireena allatheena khasirooanfusahum waahleehim yawma alqiyamati ala thalikahuwa alkhusranu almubeenu فاعبدوا ما شئتم من دونه قل إن الخاسرين الذين خسروا أنفسهم وأهليهم يوم القيامة ألا ذلك هو الخسران المبين
فَاعْبُدُوا مَا شِئْتُم مِّن دُونِهِ قُلْ إِنَّ الْخَاسِرِينَ الَّذِينَ خَسِرُوا أَنفُسَهُمْ وَأَهْلِيهِمْ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ أَلَا ذَلِكَ هُوَ الْخُسْرَانُ الْمُبِينُ

  سو تم اللہ کے سوا جس کی چاہو پوجا کرو، فرما دیجئے: بے شک نقصان اٹھانے والے وہی لوگ ہیں جنہوں نے قیامت کے دن اپنی جانوں کو اور اپنے گھر والوں کو خسارہ میں ڈالا۔ یاد رکھو یہی کھلا نقصان ہے

Yousuf Ali"Serve ye what ye will besides him." Say: "Truly, those in loss are those who lose their own souls and their People on the Day of Judgment: Ah! that is indeed the (real and) evident Loss!

Mehmood Al Hassanاب تم پوجو جس کو چاہو اسکے سوائے تو کہہ بڑے ہارنے والے وہ جو ہار بیٹھے اپنی جان کو اور اپنے گھر والوں کو قیامت کے دن سنتا ہے یہی ہے صریح ٹوٹا
Abul Ala Maududiتم اُس کے سوا جس جس کی بندگی کرنا چاہو کرتے رہو کہو، اصل دیوالیے تو وہی ہیں جنہوں نے قیامت کے روز اپنے آپ کو اور اپنے اہل و عیال کو گھاٹے میں ڈال دیا خوب سن رکھو، یہی کھلا دیوالہ ہے

[Implying that on Resurrection Day they will be irretrievably separated from all whom they had loved, and all who had been close to them in this world. The "loss of one's own self" signifies, I think, the destruction of one's true identity and uniqueness as a human being, which is described in the next clause as "the most obvious loss" that man may be made to suffer in the life to come.]
Khalifa**"Therefore, worship whatever you wish beside Him." Say, "The real losers are those who lose their souls, and their families, on the Day of Resurrection." Most certainly, this is the real loss.
Hilali/Khan**So worship what you like besides Him. Say (O Muhammad SAW): "The losers are those who will lose themselves and their families on the Day of Resurrection. Verily, that will be a manifest loss!"
