| إن الذين توفاهم الملائكة ظالمي أنفسهم قالوا فيم كنتم قالوا كنا مستضعفين في الأرض قالوا ألم تكن أرض الله واسعة فتهاجروا فيها فأولئك مأواهم جهنم وساءت مصيرا إِنَّ الَّذِينَ تَوَفَّاهُمُ الْمَلَآئِكَةُ ظَالِمِي أَنْفُسِهِمْ قَالُواْ فِيمَ كُنتُمْ قَالُواْ كُنَّا مُسْتَضْعَفِينَ فِي الْأَرْضِ قَالُواْ أَلَمْ تَكُنْ أَرْضُ اللّهِ وَاسِعَةً فَتُهَاجِرُواْ فِيهَا فَأُوْلَـئِكَ مَأْوَاهُمْ جَهَنَّمُ وَسَاءَتْ مَصِيرًا |

Tahir ul Qadri | بیشک جن لوگوں کی روح فرشتے اس حال میں قبض کرتے ہیں کہ وہ (اسلام دشمن ماحول میں رہ کر) اپنی جانوں پر ظلم کرنے والے ہیں (تو) وہ ان سے دریافت کرتے ہیں کہ تم کس حال میں تھے (تم نے اِقامتِ دین کی جد و جہد کی نہ سرزمینِ کُفر کو چھوڑا)؟ وہ (معذرۃً) کہتے ہیں کہ ہم زمین میں کمزور و بے بس تھے، فرشتے (جواباً) کہتے ہیں: کیا اللہ کی زمین فراخ نہ تھی کہ تم اس میں (کہیں) ہجرت کر جاتے، سو یہی وہ لوگ ہیں جن کا ٹھکانا جہنم ہے، اور وہ بہت ہی برا ٹھکانا ہے |
Yousuf Ali | When angels take the souls of those who die in sin against their souls, they say: "In what (plight) Were ye?" They reply: "Weak and oppressed Were we in the earth." They say: "Was not the earth of Allah spacious enough for you to move yourselves away (From evil)?" Such men will find their abode in Hell,- What an evil refuge! -
