بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ

Waataynahum bayyinatinmina al-amri fama ikhtalafoo illa min baAAdi majaahumu alAAilmu baghyan baynahum inna rabbaka yaqdeebaynahum yawma alqiyamati feema kanoo feehiyakhtalifoona وآتيناهم بينات من الأمر فما اختلفوا إلا من بعد ما جاءهم العلم بغيا بينهم إن ربك يقضي بينهم يوم القيامة فيما كانوا فيه يختلفون
وَآتَيْنَاهُم بَيِّنَاتٍ مِّنَ الْأَمْرِ فَمَا اخْتَلَفُوا إِلَّا مِن بَعْدِ مَا جَاءَهُمْ الْعِلْمُ بَغْيًا بَيْنَهُمْ إِنَّ رَبَّكَ يَقْضِي بَيْنَهُمْ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ فِيمَا كَانُوا فِيهِ يَخْتَلِفُونَ

  اور ہم نے ان کو دین (اور نبوّت) کے واضح دلائل اور نشانیاں دی ہیں مگر اس کے بعد کہ اُن کے پاس (بعثتِ محمدی صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کا) علم آچکا انہوں نے (اس سے) اختلاف کیا محض باہمی حسد و عداوت کے باعث، بیشک آپ کا رب اُن کے درمیان قیامت کے دن اس امر کا فیصلہ فرما دے گا جس میں وہ اختلاف کیا کرتے تھے

Yousuf AliAnd We granted them Clear Signs in affairs (of Religion): it was only after knowledge had been granted to them that they fell into schisms, through insolent envy among themselves. Verily thy Lord will judge between them on the Day of Judgment as to those matters in which they set up differences.

Abul Ala Maududiاور دین کے معاملہ میں اُنہیں واضح ہدایات دے دیں پھر جو اختلاف اُن کے درمیان رو نما ہوا وہ (نا واقفیت کی وجہ سے نہیں بلکہ) علم آ جانے کے بعد ہوا اور اس بنا پر ہوا کہ وہ آپس میں ایک دوسرے پر زیادتی کرنا چاہتے تھے اللہ قیامت کے روز اُن معاملات کا فیصلہ فرما دے گا جن میں وہ اختلاف کرتے رہے ہیں

SarwarWe also gave them clear evidence in support of the true religion. Only after having received knowledge did they create differences among themselves because of their rebelliousness. Your Lord will issue His decree concerning their differences on the Day of Judgment.
