Bal thanantum an lan yanqalibaalrrasoolu waalmu/minoona ila ahleehimabadan wazuyyina thalika fee quloobikum wathanantumthanna alssaw-i wakuntum qawman booran بل ظننتم أن لن ينقلب الرسول والمؤمنون إلى أهليهم أبدا وزين ذلك في قلوبكم وظننتم ظن السوء وكنتم قوما بورا
بَلْ ظَنَنتُمْ أَن لَّن يَنقَلِبَ الرَّسُولُ وَالْمُؤْمِنُونَ إِلَى أَهْلِيهِمْ أَبَدًا وَزُيِّنَ ذَلِكَ فِي قُلُوبِكُمْ وَظَنَنتُمْ ظَنَّ السَّوْءِ وَكُنتُمْ قَوْمًا بُورًا

  بلکہ تم نے یہ گمان کیا تھا کہ رسول (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) اور اہلِ ایمان (یعنی صحابہ رضی اللہ عنھم) اب کبھی بھی پلٹ کر اپنے گھر والوں کی طرف نہیں آئیں گے اور یہ (گمان) تمہارے دلوں میں (تمہارے نفس کی طرف سے) خُوب آراستہ کر دیا گیا تھا اور تم نے بہت ہی برا گمان کیا، اور تم ہلاک ہونے والی قوم بن گئے
