| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |
| 1. [7:53] | Hal yanthuroona illata/weelahu yawma ya/tee ta/weeluhu yaqoolu allatheenanasoohu min qablu qad jaat rusulu rabbina bialhaqqifahal lana min shufaAAaa fayashfaAAoo lanaaw nuraddu fanaAAmala ghayra allathee kunnanaAAmalu qad khasiroo anfusahum wadalla AAanhum makanoo yaftaroona |  هل ينظرون إلا تأويله يوم يأتي تأويله يقول الذين نسوه من قبل قد جاءت رسل ربنا بالحق فهل لنا من شفعاء فيشفعوا لنا أو نرد فنعمل غير الذي كنا نعمل قد خسروا أنفسهم وضل عنهم ما كانوا يفترونهَلْ يَنظُرُونَ إِلاَّ تَأْوِيلَهُ يَوْمَ يَأْتِي تَأْوِيلُهُ يَقُولُ الَّذِينَ نَسُوهُ مِن قَبْلُ قَدْ جَاءَتْ رُسُلُ رَبِّنَا بِالْحَقِّ فَهَل لَّنَا مِن شُفَعَاءَ فَيَشْفَعُواْ لَنَا أَوْ نُرَدُّ فَنَعْمَلَ غَيْرَ الَّذِي كُنَّا نَعْمَلُ قَدْ خَسِرُواْ أَنفُسَهُمْ وَضَلَّ عَنْهُم مَّا كَانُواْ يَفْتَرُونَ | |||||

| Tahir ul Qadri | وہ صرف اس (کہی ہوئی بات) کے انجام کے منتظر ہیں، جس دن اس (بات) کا انجام سامنے آجائے گا وہ لوگ جو اس سے قبل اسے بھلا چکے تھے کہیں گے: بیشک ہمارے رب کے رسول حق (بات) لے کر آئے تھے، سو کیا (آج) ہمارے کوئی سفارشی ہیں جو ہمارے لئے سفارش کر دیں یا ہم (پھر دنیا میں) لوٹا دیئے جائیں تاکہ ہم (اس مرتبہ) ان (اعمال) سے مختلف عمل کریں جو (پہلے) کرتے رہے تھے۔ بیشک انہوں نے اپنے آپ کو نقصان پہنچایا اور وہ (بہتان و افتراء) ان سے جاتا رہا جو وہ گھڑا کرتے تھے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Do they just wait for the final fulfilment of the event? On the day the event is finally fulfilled, those who disregarded it before will say: "The messengers of our Lord did indeed bring true (tidings). Have we no intercessors now to intercede on our behalf? Or could we be sent back? then should we behave differently from our behaviour in the past." In fact they will have lost their souls, and the things they invented will leave them in the lurch.

[7:54] | Inna rabbakumu Allahu allatheekhalaqa alssamawati waal-ardafee sittati ayyamin thumma istawa AAalaalAAarshi yughshee allayla alnnahara yatlubuhuhatheethan waalshshamsa waalqamara waalnnujoomamusakhkharatin bi-amrihi ala lahu alkhalqu waal-amrutabaraka Allahu rabbu alAAalameena | إن ربكم الله الذي خلق السماوات والأرض في ستة أيام ثم استوى على العرش يغشي الليل النهار يطلبه حثيثا والشمس والقمر والنجوم مسخرات بأمره ألا له الخلق والأمر تبارك الله رب العالمين إِنَّ رَبَّكُمُ اللّهُ الَّذِي خَلَقَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ فِي سِتَّةِ أَيَّامٍ ثُمَّ اسْتَوَى عَلَى الْعَرْشِ يُغْشِي اللَّيْلَ النَّهَارَ يَطْلُبُهُ حَثِيثًا وَالشَّمْسَ وَالْقَمَرَ وَالنُّجُومَ مُسَخَّرَاتٍ بِأَمْرِهِ أَلاَ لَهُ الْخَلْقُ وَالْأَمْرُ تَبَارَكَ اللّهُ رَبُّ الْعَالَمِينَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | بیشک تمہارا رب اﷲ ہے جس نے آسمانوں اور زمین (کی کائنات) کو چھ مدتوں (یعنی چھ اَدوار) میں پیدا فرمایا پھر (اپنی شان کے مطابق) عرش پر استواء (یعنی اس کائنات میں اپنے حکم و اقتدار کے نظام کا اجراء) فرمایا۔ وہی رات سے دن کو ڈھانک دیتا ہے (درآنحالیکہ دن رات میں سے) ہر ایک دوسرے کے تعاقب میں تیزی سے لگا رہتا ہے اور سورج اور چاند اور ستارے (سب) اسی کے حکم (سے ایک نظام) کے پابند بنا دیئے گئے ہیں۔ خبردار! (ہر چیز کی) تخلیق اور حکم و تدبیر کا نظام چلانا اسی کا کام ہے۔ اﷲ بڑی برکت والا ہے جو تمام جہانوں کی (تدریجاً) پرورش فرمانے والا ہے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Your Guardian-Lord is Allah, Who created the heavens and the earth in six days, and is firmly established on the throne (of authority): He draweth the night as a veil o'er the day, each seeking the other in rapid succession: He created the sun, the moon, and the stars, (all) governed by laws under His command. Is it not His to create and to govern? Blessed be Allah, the Cherisher and Sustainer of the worlds!

[7:57] | Wahuwa allathee yursilu alrriyahabushran bayna yaday rahmatihi hatta ithaaqallat sahaban thiqalan suqnahu libaladinmayyitin faanzalna bihi almaa faakhrajnabihi min kulli alththamarati kathalikanukhriju almawta laAAallakum tathakkaroona | وهو الذي يرسل الرياح بشرا بين يدي رحمته حتى إذا أقلت سحابا ثقالا سقناه لبلد ميت فأنزلنا به الماء فأخرجنا به من كل الثمرات كذلك نخرج الموتى لعلكم تذكرون وَهُوَ الَّذِي يُرْسِلُ الرِّيَاحَ بُشْرًا بَيْنَ يَدَيْ رَحْمَتِهِ حَتَّى إِذَا أَقَلَّتْ سَحَابًا ثِقَالاً سُقْنَاهُ لِبَلَدٍ مَّيِّتٍ فَأَنزَلْنَا بِهِ الْمَاءَ فَأَخْرَجْنَا بِهِ مِن كُلِّ الثَّمَرَاتِ كَذَلِكَ نُخْرِجُ الْموْتَى لَعَلَّكُمْ تَذَكَّرُونَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اور وہی ہے جو اپنی رحمت (یعنی بارش) سے پہلے ہواؤں کو خوشخبری بنا کر بھیجتا ہے، یہاں تک کہ جب وہ (ہوائیں) بھاری بھاری بادلوں کو اٹھا لاتی ہیں تو ہم ان (بادلوں) کو کسی مردہ (یعنی بے آب و گیاہ) شہر کی طرف ہانک دیتے ہیں پھر ہم اس (بادل) سے پانی برساتے ہیں پھر ہم اس (پانی) کے ذریعے (زمین سے) ہر قسم کے پھل نکالتے ہیں۔ اسی طرح ہم (روزِ قیامت) مُردوں کو (قبروں سے) نکالیں گے تاکہ تم نصیحت قبول کرو | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | It is He Who sendeth the winds like heralds of glad tidings, going before His mercy: when they have carried the heavy-laden clouds, We drive them to a land that is dead, make rain to descend thereon, and produce every kind of harvest therewith: thus shall We raise up the dead: perchance ye may remember.

[7:59] | Laqad arsalna noohan ilaqawmihi faqala ya qawmi oAAbudoo Allaha malakum min ilahin ghayruhu innee akhafu AAalaykumAAathaba yawmin AAatheemin | لقد أرسلنا نوحا إلى قومه فقال يا قوم اعبدوا الله ما لكم من إله غيره إني أخاف عليكم عذاب يوم عظيم لَقَدْ أَرْسَلْنَا نُوحًا إِلَى قَوْمِهِ فَقَالَ يَا قَوْمِ اعْبُدُواْ اللَّهَ مَا لَكُم مِّنْ إِلَـهٍ غَيْرُهُ إِنِّيَ أَخَافُ عَلَيْكُمْ عَذَابَ يَوْمٍ عَظِيمٍ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | بیشک ہم نے نوح (علیہ السلام) کو ان کی قوم کی طرف بھیجا سو انہوں نے کہا: اے میری قوم (کے لوگو!) تم اﷲ کی عبادت کیا کرو اس کے سوا تمہارا کوئی معبود نہیں، یقیناً مجھے تمہارے اوپر ایک بڑے دن کے عذاب کا خوف آتا ہے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | We sent Noah to his people. He said: "O my people! worship Allah! ye have no other god but Him. I fear for you the punishment of a dreadful day!

| 5. [7:60] | Qala almalao min qawmihi innalanaraka fee dalalin mubeenin | قال الملأ من قومه إنا لنراك في ضلال مبين قَالَ الْمَلَأُ مِن قَوْمِهِ إِنَّا لَنَرَاكَ فِي ضَلاَلٍ مُّبِينٍ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | ان کی قوم کے سرداروں اور رئیسوں نے کہا: (اے نوح!) بیشک ہم تمہیں کھلی گمراہی میں (مبتلا) دیکھتے ہیں | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | The leaders of his people said: "Ah! we see thee evidently wandering (in mind)."

| 6. [7:61] | Qala ya qawmi laysa bee dalalatunwalakinnee rasoolun min rabbi alAAalameena | قال يا قوم ليس بي ضلالة ولكني رسول من رب العالمين قَالَ يَا قَوْمِ لَيْسَ بِي ضَلاَلَةٌ وَلَكِنِّي رَسُولٌ مِّن رَّبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | انہوں نے کہا: اے میری قوم! مجھ میں کوئی گمراہی نہیں لیکن (یہ حقیقت ہے کہ) میں تمام جہانوں کے رب کی طرف سے رسول (مبعوث ہوا) ہوں | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | He said: "O my people! No wandering is there in my (mind): on the contrary I am a messenger from the Lord and Cherisher of the worlds!

| 7. [7:62] | Oballighukum risalati rabbeewaansahu lakum waaAAlamu mina Allahi mala taAAlamoona | أبلغكم رسالات ربي وأنصح لكم وأعلم من الله ما لا تعلمون أُبَلِّغُكُمْ رِسَالاَتِ رَبِّي وَأَنصَحُ لَكُمْ وَأَعْلَمُ مِنَ اللّهِ مَا لاَ تَعْلَمُونَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | میں تمہیں اپنے رب کے پیغامات پہنچا رہا ہوں اور تمہیں نصیحت کر رہا ہوں اور اﷲ کی طرف سے وہ کچھ جانتا ہوں جو تم نہیں جانتے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | "I but fulfil towards you the duties of my Lord's mission: Sincere is my advice to you, and I know from Allah something that ye know not.

[7:63] | Awa AAajibtum an jaakum thikrunmin rabbikum AAala rajulin minkum liyunthirakumwalitattaqoo walaAAallakum turhamoona | أوعجبتم أن جاءكم ذكر من ربكم على رجل منكم لينذركم ولتتقوا ولعلكم ترحمون أَوَعَجِبْتُمْ أَن جَاءَكُمْ ذِكْرٌ مِّن رَّبِّكُمْ عَلَى رَجُلٍ مِّنكُمْ لِيُنذِرَكُمْ وَلِتَتَّقُواْ وَلَعَلَّكُمْ تُرْحَمُونَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | کیا تمہیں اس بات پر تعجب ہے کہ تمہارے پاس تمہارے رب کی طرف سے تم ہی میں سے ایک مرد (کی زبان) پر نصیحت آئی تاکہ وہ تمہیں (عذابِ الٰہی سے) ڈرائے اور تم پرہیزگار بن جاؤ اور یہ اس لئے ہے کہ تم پر رحم کیا جائے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | "Do ye wonder that there hath come to you a message from your Lord, through a man of your own people, to warn you,- so that ye may fear Allah and haply receive His Mercy?"

[7:64] | Fakaththaboohu faanjaynahu waallatheenamaAAahu fee alfulki waaghraqna allatheena kaththaboobi-ayatina innahum kanoo qawmanAAameena | فكذبوه فأنجيناه والذين معه في الفلك وأغرقنا الذين كذبوا بآياتنا إنهم كانوا قوما عمين فَكَذَّبُوهُ فَأَنجَيْنَاهُ وَالَّذِينَ مَعَهُ فِي الْفُلْكِ وَأَغْرَقْنَا الَّذِينَ كَذَّبُواْ بِآيَاتِنَا إِنَّهُمْ كَانُواْ قَوْماً عَمِينَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | پھر ان لوگوں نے انہیں جھٹلایا سو ہم نے انہیں اور ان لوگوں کو جو کَشتی میں ان کی معیّت میں تھے نجات دی اور ہم نے ان لوگوں کو غرق کر دیا جنہوں نے ہماری آیتوں کو جھٹلایا تھا، بیشک وہ اندھے (یعنی بے بصیرت) لوگ تھے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | But they rejected him, and We delivered him, and those with him, in the Ark: but We overwhelmed in the flood those who rejected Our signs. They were indeed a blind people!

[7:65] | Wa-ila AAadin akhahumhoodan qala ya qawmi oAAbudoo Allaha malakum min ilahin ghayruhu afala tattaqoona | وإلى عاد أخاهم هودا قال يا قوم اعبدوا الله ما لكم من إله غيره أفلا تتقون وَإِلَى عَادٍ أَخَاهُمْ هُوداً قَالَ يَا قَوْمِ اعْبُدُواْ اللّهَ مَا لَكُم مِّنْ إِلَـهٍ غَيْرُهُ أَفَلاَ تَتَّقُونَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اور ہم نے (قومِ) عاد کی طرف ان کے (قومی) بھائی ہُود (علیہ السلام) کو (بھیجا)، انہوں نے کہا: اے میری قوم! تم اﷲ کی عبادت کیا کرو اس کے سوا کوئی تمہارا معبود نہیں، کیا تم پرہیزگار نہیں بنتے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | To the 'Ad people, (We sent) Hud, one of their (own) brethren: He said: O my people! worship Allah! ye have no other god but Him will ye not fear (Allah)?"

[7:66] | Qala almalao allatheenakafaroo min qawmihi inna lanaraka fee safahatinwa-inna lanathunnuka mina alkathibeena | قال الملأ الذين كفروا من قومه إنا لنراك في سفاهة وإنا لنظنك من الكاذبين قَالَ الْمَلَأُ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ مِن قَوْمِهِ إِنَّا لَنَرَاكَ فِي سَفَاهَةٍ وَإِنَّا لَنَظُنُّكَ مِنَ الْكَاذِبِينَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | ان کی قوم کے سرداروں اور رئیسوں نے جو کفر (یعنی دعوتِ حق کی مخالفت و مزاحمت) کر رہے تھے کہا: (اے ہود!) بیشک ہم تمہیں حماقت (میں مبتلا) دیکھتے ہیں اور بیشک ہم تمہیں جھوٹے لوگوں میں گمان کرتے ہیں | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | The leaders of the Unbelievers among his people said: "Ah! we see thou art an imbecile!" and "We think thou art a liar!"

| 12. [7:67] | Qala ya qawmi laysa bee safahatunwalakinnee rasoolun min rabbi alAAalameena | قال يا قوم ليس بي سفاهة ولكني رسول من رب العالمين قَالَ يَا قَوْمِ لَيْسَ بِي سَفَاهَةٌ وَلَكِنِّي رَسُولٌ مِّن رَّبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | انہوں نے کہا: اے میری قوم! مجھ میں کوئی حماقت نہیں لیکن (یہ حقیقت ہے کہ) میں تمام جہانوں کے رب کی طرف سے رسول (مبعوث ہوا) ہوں | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | He said: "O my people! I am no imbecile, but (I am) a messenger from the Lord and Cherisher of the worlds!

| Tahir ul Qadri | میں تمہیں اپنے رب کے پیغامات پہنچا رہا ہوں اور میں تمہارا امانت دار خیرخواہ ہوں | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | "I but fulfil towards you the duties of my Lord's mission: I am to you a sincere and trustworthy adviser.

[7:69] | Awa AAajibtum an jaakum thikrunmin rabbikum AAala rajulin minkum liyunthirakum waothkurooith jaAAalakum khulafaa min baAAdi qawmi noohinwazadakum fee alkhalqi bastatan faothkurooalaa Allahi laAAallakum tuflihoona | أوعجبتم أن جاءكم ذكر من ربكم على رجل منكم لينذركم واذكروا إذ جعلكم خلفاء من بعد قوم نوح وزادكم في الخلق بسطة فاذكروا آلاء الله لعلكم تفلحون أَوَعَجِبْتُمْ أَن جَاءَكُمْ ذِكْرٌ مِّن رَّبِّكُمْ عَلَى رَجُلٍ مِّنكُمْ لِيُنذِرَكُمْ وَاذكُرُواْ إِذْ جَعَلَكُمْ خُلَفَاءَ مِن بَعْدِ قَوْمِ نُوحٍ وَزَادَكُمْ فِي الْخَلْقِ بَسْطَةً فَاذْكُرُواْ آلاَءَ اللّهِ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُفْلِحُونَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | کیا تمہیں اس بات پر تعجب ہے کہ تمہارے پاس تمہارے رب کی طرف سے تم ہی میں سے ایک مرد (کی زبان) پر نصیحت آئی تاکہ وہ تمہیں (عذابِ الٰہی سے) ڈرائے، اور یاد کرو جب اس نے تمہیں قومِ نوح کے بعد (زمین پر) جانشین بنایا اور تمہاری خلقت میں (قد و قامت اور) قوت کو مزید بڑھا دے، سو تم اﷲ کی نعمتوں کو یاد کرو تاکہ تم فلاح پا جاؤ | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | "Do ye wonder that there hath come to you a message from your Lord through a man of your own people, to warn you? call in remembrance that He made you inheritors after the people of Noah, and gave you a stature tall among the nations. Call in remembrance the benefits (ye have received) from Allah: that so ye may prosper."

[7:70] | Qaloo aji/tana linaAAbuda Allahawahdahu wanathara ma kana yaAAbudu abaonafa/tina bima taAAiduna in kunta mina alssadiqeena | قالوا أجئتنا لنعبد الله وحده ونذر ما كان يعبد آباؤنا فأتنا بما تعدنا إن كنت من الصادقين قَالُواْ أَجِئْتَنَا لِنَعْبُدَ اللّهَ وَحْدَهُ وَنَذَرَ مَا كَانَ يَعْبُدُ آبَاؤُنَا فَأْتِنَا بِمَا تَعِدُنَا إِن كُنتَ مِنَ الصَّادِقِينَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | وہ کہنے لگے: کیا تم ہمارے پاس (اس لئے) آئے ہو کہ ہم صرف ایک اﷲ کی عبادت کریں اور ان (سب خداؤں) کو چھوڑ دیں جن کی پرستش ہمارے باپ دادا کیا کرتے تھے؟ سو تم ہمارے پاس وہ (عذاب) لے آؤ جس کی تم ہمیں وعید سناتے ہو اگر تم سچے لوگوں میں سے ہو | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | They said: "Comest thou to us, that we may worship Allah alone, and give up the cult of our fathers? bring us what thou threatenest us with, if so be that thou tellest the truth!"

[7:72] | Faanjaynahu waallatheenamaAAahu birahmatin minna waqataAAna dabiraallatheena kaththaboo bi-ayatinawama kanoo mu/mineena | فأنجيناه والذين معه برحمة منا وقطعنا دابر الذين كذبوا بآياتنا وما كانوا مؤمنين فَأَنجَيْنَاهُ وَالَّذِينَ مَعَهُ بِرَحْمَةٍ مِّنَّا وَقَطَعْنَا دَابِرَ الَّذِينَ كَذَّبُواْ بِآيَاتِنَا وَمَا كَانُواْ مُؤْمِنِينَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | پھر ہم نے ان کو اور جو لوگ ان کے ساتھ تھے اپنی رحمت کے باعث نجات بخشی اور ان لوگوں کی جڑ کاٹ دی جنہوں نے ہماری آیتوں کو جھٹلایا تھا اور وہ ایمان لانے والے نہ تھے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | We saved him and those who adhered to him. By Our mercy, and We cut off the roots of those who rejected Our signs and did not believe.

[7:71] | Qala qad waqaAAa AAalaykum minrabbikum rijsun waghadabun atujadiloonanee fee asma-insammaytumooha antum waabaokum manazzala Allahu biha min sultanin faintathirooinnee maAAakum mina almuntathireena | قال قد وقع عليكم من ربكم رجس وغضب أتجادلونني في أسماء سميتموها أنتم وآباؤكم ما نزل الله بها من سلطان فانتظروا إني معكم من المنتظرين قَالَ قَدْ وَقَعَ عَلَيْكُم مِّن رَّبِّكُمْ رِجْسٌ وَغَضَبٌ أَتُجَادِلُونَنِي فِي أَسْمَاءٍ سَمَّيْتُمُوهَا أَنتُمْ وَآبَآؤُكُم مَّا نَزَّلَ اللّهُ بِهَا مِن سُلْطَانٍ فَانتَظِرُواْ إِنِّي مَعَكُم مِّنَ الْمُنتَظِرِينَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | انہوں نے کہا: یقیناً تم پر تمہارے رب کی طرف سے عذاب اور غضب واجب ہو گیا۔ کیا تم مجھ سے ان (بتوں کے) ناموں کے بارے میں جھگڑ رہے ہو جو تم نے اور تمہارے باپ دادا نے (خود ہی فرضی طور پر) رکھ لئے ہیں جن کی اﷲ نے کوئی سند نہیں اتاری؟ سو تم (عذاب کا) انتظار کرو میں (بھی) تمہارے ساتھ انتظار کرنے والوں میں سے ہوں | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | He said: "Punishment and wrath have already come upon you from your Lord: dispute ye with me over names which ye have devised - ye and your fathers,- without authority from Allah? then wait: I am amongst you, also waiting."

| 18. [7:76] | Qala allatheena istakbaroo innabiallathee amantum bihi kafiroona | قال الذين استكبروا إنا بالذي آمنتم به كافرون قَالَ الَّذِينَ اسْتَكْبَرُواْ إِنَّا بِالَّذِي آمَنتُمْ بِهِ كَافِرُونَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | متکبّر لوگ کہنے لگے: بیشک جس (چیز) پر تم ایمان لائے ہو ہم اس کے سخت منکر ہیں | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | The Arrogant party said: "For our part, we reject what ye believe in."

[7:73] | Wa-ila thamooda akhahum salihanqala ya qawmi oAAbudoo Allaha malakum min ilahin ghayruhu qad jaatkum bayyinatunmin rabbikum hathihi naqatu Allahi lakum ayatanfatharooha ta/kul fee ardi Allahi walatamassooha bisoo-in faya/khuthakum AAathabunaleemun | وإلى ثمود أخاهم صالحا قال يا قوم اعبدوا الله ما لكم من إله غيره قد جاءتكم بينة من ربكم هذه ناقة الله لكم آية فذروها تأكل في أرض الله ولا تمسوها بسوء فيأخذكم عذاب أليم وَإِلَى ثَمُودَ أَخَاهُمْ صَالِحًا قَالَ يَا قَوْمِ اعْبُدُواْ اللّهَ مَا لَكُم مِّنْ إِلَـهٍ غَيْرُهُ قَدْ جَاءَتْكُم بَيِّنَةٌ مِّن رَّبِّكُمْ هَـذِهِ نَاقَةُ اللّهِ لَكُمْ آيَةً فَذَرُوهَا تَأْكُلْ فِي أَرْضِ اللّهِ وَلاَ تَمَسُّوهَا بِسُوءٍ فَيَأْخُذَكُمْ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اور (قومِ) ثمود کی طرف ان کے (قومی) بھائی صالح (علیہ السلام) کو (بھیجا)، انہوں نے کہا: اے میری قوم! اﷲ کی عبادت کیا کرو، اس کے سوا تمہارا کوئی معبود نہیں، بیشک تمہارے پاس تمہارے رب کی طرف سے ایک روشن دلیل آگئی ہے۔ یہ اﷲ کی اونٹنی تمہارے لئے نشانی ہے، سو تم اسے (آزاد) چھوڑے رکھنا کہ اﷲ کی زمین میں چَرتی رہے اور اسے برائی (کے ارادے) سے ہاتھ نہ لگانا ورنہ تمہیں دردناک عذاب آپکڑے گا | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | To the Thamud people (We sent) Salih, one of their own brethren: He said: "O my people! worship Allah: ye have no other god but Him. Now hath come unto you a clear (Sign) from your Lord! This she-camel of Allah is a Sign unto you: So leave her to graze in Allah's earth, and let her come to no harm, or ye shall be seized with a grievous punishment.

[7:74] | Waothkuroo ithjaAAalakum khulafaa min baAAdi AAadin wabawwaakumfee al-ardi tattakhithoona min suhooliha qusooranwatanhitoona aljibala buyootan faothkurooalaa Allahi wala taAAthaw fee al-ardimufsideena | واذكروا إذ جعلكم خلفاء من بعد عاد وبوأكم في الأرض تتخذون من سهولها قصورا وتنحتون الجبال بيوتا فاذكروا آلاء الله ولا تعثوا في الأرض مفسدين وَاذْكُرُواْ إِذْ جَعَلَكُمْ خُلَفَاءَ مِن بَعْدِ عَادٍ وَبَوَّأَكُمْ فِي الْأَرْضِ تَتَّخِذُونَ مِن سُهُولِهَا قُصُورًا وَتَنْحِتُونَ الْجِبَالَ بُيُوتًا فَاذْكُرُواْ آلاَءَ اللّهِ وَلاَ تَعْثَوْا فِي الْأَرْضِ مُفْسِدِينَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اور یاد کرو جب اس نے تمہیں (قومِ) عاد کے بعد (زمین میں) جانشین بنایا اور تمہیں زمین میں سکونت بخشی کہ تم اس کے نرم (میدانی) علاقوں میں محلات بناتے ہو اور پہاڑوں کو تراش کر (ان میں) گھر بناتے ہو، سو تم اﷲ کی (ان) نعمتوں کو یاد کرو اور زمین میں فساد انگیزی نہ کرتے پھرو | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | "And remember how He made you inheritors after the 'Ad people and gave you habitations in the land: ye build for yourselves palaces and castles in (open) plains, and care out homes in the mountains; so bring to remembrance the benefits (ye have received) from Allah, and refrain from evil and mischief on the earth."

[7:77] | FaAAaqaroo alnnaqata waAAatawAAan amri rabbihim waqaloo ya salihui/tina bima taAAiduna in kunta minaalmursaleena | فعقروا الناقة وعتوا عن أمر ربهم وقالوا يا صالح ائتنا بما تعدنا إن كنت من المرسلين فَعَقَرُواْ النَّاقَةَ وَعَتَوْاْ عَنْ أَمْرِ رَبِّهِمْ وَقَالُواْ يَا صَالِحُ ائْتِنَا بِمَا تَعِدُنَا إِن كُنتَ مِنَ الْمُرْسَلِينَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | پس انہوں نے اونٹنی کو (کاٹ کر) مار ڈالا اور اپنے ربّ کے حکم سے سرکشی کی اور کہنے لگے: اے صالح! تم وہ (عذاب) ہمارے پاس لے آؤ جس کی تم ہمیں وعید سناتے تھے اگر تم (واقعی) رسولوں میں سے ہو | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Then they ham-strung the she-camel, and insolently defied the order of their Lord, saying: "O Salih! bring about thy threats, if thou art a messenger (of Allah)!"

[7:75] | Qala almalao allatheenaistakbaroo min qawmihi lillatheena istudAAifooliman amana minhum ataAAlamoona anna salihanmursalun min rabbihi qaloo inna bima orsilabihi mu/minoona | قال الملأ الذين استكبروا من قومه للذين استضعفوا لمن آمن منهم أتعلمون أن صالحا مرسل من ربه قالوا إنا بما أرسل به مؤمنون قَالَ الْمَلَأُ الَّذِينَ اسْتَكْبَرُواْ مِن قَوْمِهِ لِلَّذِينَ اسْتُضْعِفُواْ لِمَنْ آمَنَ مِنْهُمْ أَتَعْلَمُونَ أَنَّ صَالِحًا مُّرْسَلٌ مِّن رَّبِّهِ قَالُواْ إِنَّا بِمَا أُرْسِلَ بِهِ مُؤْمِنُونَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | ان کی قوم کے ان سرداروں اور رئیسوں نے جو متکّبر و سرکش تھے ان غریب پسے ہوئے لوگوں سے کہا جو ان میں سے ایمان لے آئے تھے: کیا تمہیں یقین ہے کہ واقعی صالح (علیہ السلام) اپنے ربّ کی طرف سے رسول بنا کر بھیجے گئے ہیں؟ انہوں نے کہا: جو کچھ انہیں دے کر بھیجا گیا ہے بیشک ہم اس پر ایمان رکھنے والے ہیں | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | The leaders of the arrogant party among his people said to those who were reckoned powerless - those among them who believed: "know ye indeed that Salih is a messenger from his Lord?" They said: "We do indeed believe in the revelation which hath been sent through him."

| 23. [7:78] | Faakhathat-humu alrrajfatu faasbahoofee darihim jathimeena | فأخذتهم الرجفة فأصبحوا في دارهم جاثمين فَأَخَذَتْهُمُ الرَّجْفَةُ فَأَصْبَحُواْ فِي دَارِهِمْ جَاثِمِينَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | سو انہیں سخت زلزلہ (کے عذاب) نے آپکڑا پس وہ (ہلاک ہو کر) صبح اپنے گھروں میں اوندھے پڑے رہ گئے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | So the earthquake took them unawares, and they lay prostrate in their homes in the morning!

[7:79] | Fatawalla AAanhum waqala yaqawmi laqad ablaghtukum risalata rabbee wanasahtulakum walakin la tuhibboona alnnasiheena | فتولى عنهم وقال يا قوم لقد أبلغتكم رسالة ربي ونصحت لكم ولكن لا تحبون الناصحين فَتَوَلَّى عَنْهُمْ وَقَالَ يَا قَوْمِ لَقَدْ أَبْلَغْتُكُمْ رِسَالَةَ رَبِّي وَنَصَحْتُ لَكُمْ وَلَكِن لاَّ تُحِبُّونَ النَّاصِحِينَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | پھر (صالح علیہ السلام نے) ان سے منہ پھیر لیا اور کہا: اے میری قوم! بیشک میں نے تمہیں اپنے رب کا پیغام پہنچا دیا تھا اور نصیحت (بھی) کر دی تھی لیکن تم نصیحت کرنے والوں کو پسند (ہی) نہیں کرتے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | So Salih left them, saying: "O my people! I did indeed convey to you the message for which I was sent by my Lord: I gave you good counsel, but ye love not good counsellors!"

| 25. [7:80] | Walootan ith qalaliqawmihi ata/toona alfahishata ma sabaqakum bihamin ahadin mina alAAalameena | ولوطا إذ قال لقومه أتأتون الفاحشة ما سبقكم بها من أحد من العالمين وَلُوطًا إِذْ قَالَ لِقَوْمِهِ أَتَأْتُونَ الْفَاحِشَةَ مَا سَبَقَكُم بِهَا مِنْ أَحَدٍ مِّنَ الْعَالَمِينَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اور لوط(علیہ السلام) کو (بھی ہم نے اسی طرح بھیجا) جب انہوں نے اپنی قوم سے کہا: کیا تم (ایسی) بے حیائی کا ارتکاب کرتے ہو جسے تم سے پہلے اہلِ جہاں میں سے کسی نے نہیں کیا تھا | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | We also (sent) Lut: He said to his people: "Do ye commit lewdness such as no people in creation (ever) committed before you?

| 26. [7:81] | Innakum lata/toona alrrijalashahwatan min dooni alnnisa-i bal antum qawmunmusrifoona | إنكم لتأتون الرجال شهوة من دون النساء بل أنتم قوم مسرفون إِنَّكُمْ لَتَأْتُونَ الرِّجَالَ شَهْوَةً مِّن دُونِ النِّسَاءِ بَلْ أَنتُمْ قَوْمٌ مُّسْرِفُونَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | بیشک تم نفسانی خواہش کے لئے عورتوں کو چھوڑ کر مَردوں کے پاس آتے ہو بلکہ تم حد سے گزر جانے والے ہو | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | "For ye practise your lusts on men in preference to women : ye are indeed a people transgressing beyond bounds."

| 27. [7:82] | Wama kana jawabaqawmihi illa an qaloo akhrijoohum min qaryatikuminnahum onasun yatatahharoona | وما كان جواب قومه إلا أن قالوا أخرجوهم من قريتكم إنهم أناس يتطهرون وَمَا كَانَ جَوَابَ قَوْمِهِ إِلاَّ أَن قَالُواْ أَخْرِجُوهُم مِّن قَرْيَتِكُمْ إِنَّهُمْ أُنَاسٌ يَتَطَهَّرُونَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اور ان کی قوم کا سوائے اس کے کوئی جواب نہ تھا کہ وہ کہنے لگے: ان کو بستی سے نکال دو بیشک یہ لوگ بڑے پاکیزگی کے طلب گار ہیں | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | And his people gave no answer but this: they said, "Drive them out of your city: these are indeed men who want to be clean and pure!"

| 28. [7:83] | Faanjaynahu waahlahu illaimraatahu kanat mina alghabireena | فأنجيناه وأهله إلا امرأته كانت من الغابرين فَأَنْجَيْنَاهُ وَأَهْلَهُ إِلاَّ امْرَأَتَهُ كَانَتْ مِنَ الْغَابِرِينَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | پس ہم نے ان کو (یعنی لوط علیہ السلام کو) اور ان کے اہلِ خانہ کو نجات دے دی سوائے ان کی بیوی کے، وہ عذاب میں پڑے رہنے والوں میں سے تھی | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | But we saved him and his family, except his wife: she was of those who legged behind.

| 29. [7:84] | Waamtarna AAalayhim mataranfaonthur kayfa kana AAaqibatualmujrimeena | وأمطرنا عليهم مطرا فانظر كيف كان عاقبة المجرمين وَأَمْطَرْنَا عَلَيْهِم مَّطَرًا فَانظُرْ كَيْفَ كَانَ عَاقِبَةُ الْمُجْرِمِينَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اور ہم نے ان پر (پتھروں کی) بارش کر دی سو آپ دیکھئے کہ مجرموں کا انجام کیسا ہوا | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | And we rained down on them a shower (of brimstone): Then see what was the end of those who indulged in sin and crime!

[7:86] | Wala taqAAudoo bikulli siratintooAAidoona watasuddoona AAan sabeeli Allahi man amanabihi watabghoonaha AAiwajan waothkuroo ithkuntum qaleelan fakaththarakum waonthurookayfa kana AAaqibatu almufsideena | ولا تقعدوا بكل صراط توعدون وتصدون عن سبيل الله من آمن به وتبغونها عوجا واذكروا إذ كنتم قليلا فكثركم وانظروا كيف كان عاقبة المفسدين وَلاَ تَقْعُدُواْ بِكُلِّ صِرَاطٍ تُوعِدُونَ وَتَصُدُّونَ عَن سَبِيلِ اللّهِ مَنْ آمَنَ بِهِ وَتَبْغُونَهَا عِوَجًا وَاذْكُرُواْ إِذْ كُنتُمْ قَلِيلاً فَكَثَّرَكُمْ وَانظُرُواْ كَيْفَ كَانَ عَاقِبَةُ الْمُفْسِدِينَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اور تم ہر راستہ پر اس لئے نہ بیٹھا کرو کہ تم ہر اس شخص کو جو اس (دعوت) پر ایمان لے آیا ہے خوفزدہ کرو اور (اسے) اﷲ کی راہ سے روکو اور اس (دعوت) میں کجی تلاش کرو (تاکہ اسے دینِ حق سے برگشتہ اور متنفر کر سکو) اور (اﷲ کا احسان) یاد کرو جب تم تھوڑے تھے تو اس نے تمہیں کثرت بخشی، اور دیکھو فساد پھیلانے والوں کا انجام کیسا ہوا | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | "And squat not on every road, breathing threats, hindering from the path of Allah those who believe in Him, and seeking in it something crooked; But remember how ye were little, and He gave you increase. And hold in your mind's eye what was the end of those who did mischief.
