Wama arsalna fee qaryatin minnabiyyin illa akhathna ahlaha bialba/sa-iwaalddarra-i laAAallahum yaddarraAAoona وما أرسلنا في قرية من نبي إلا أخذنا أهلها بالبأساء والضراء لعلهم يضرعون
وَمَا أَرْسَلْنَا فِي قَرْيَةٍ مِّن نَّبِيٍّ إِلاَّ أَخَذْنَا أَهْلَهَا بِالْبَأْسَاءِ وَالضَّرَّاءِ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَضَّرَّعُونَ

  اور ہم نے کسی بستی میں کوئی نبی نہیں بھیجا مگر ہم نے اس کے باشندوں کو (نبی کی تکذیب و مزاحمت کے باعث) سختی و تنگی اور تکلیف و مصیبت میں گرفتار کرلیا تاکہ وہ آہ و زاری کریں

Ahmed Aliاو رہم نے کسی بستی میں کوئی پیغمبرنہیں بھیجا مگر وہاں کے لوگوں کو سختی اور تکلیف میں پکڑا تاکہ وہ عاجزی کریں
