| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[8:39] | Waqatiloohum hatta latakoona fitnatun wayakoona alddeenu kulluhu lillahifa-ini intahaw fa-inna Allaha bima yaAAmaloona baseerun |  وقاتلوهم حتى لا تكون فتنة ويكون الدين كله لله فإن انتهوا فإن الله بما يعملون بصيروَقَاتِلُوهُمْ حَتَّى لاَ تَكُونَ فِتْنَةٌ وَيَكُونَ الدِّينُ كُلُّهُ لِلّهِ فَإِنِ انتَهَوْاْ فَإِنَّ اللّهَ بِمَا يَعْمَلُونَ بَصِيرٌ | |||||

| Tahir ul Qadri | اور (اے اہلِ حق!) تم ان (کفر و طاغوت کے سرغنوں) کے ساتھ (انقلابی) جنگ کرتے رہو، یہاں تک کہ (دین دشمنی کا) کوئی فتنہ (باقی) نہ رہ جائے اور سب دین (یعنی نظامِ بندگی و زندگی) اللہ ہی کا ہو جائے، پھر اگر وہ باز آجائیں تو بیشک اللہ اس (عمل) کو جو وہ انجام دے رہے ہیں، خوب دیکھ رہا ہے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | And fight them on until there is no more tumult or oppression, and there prevail justice and faith in Allah altogether and everywhere; but if they cease, verily Allah doth see all that they do.

People must be able to adopt a religion only for God's Approval, and as free choice (2:193), (12:108).
