| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |
| 1. [2:192] | Fa-ini intahaw fa-inna Allahaghafoorun raheemun |  فإن انتهوا فإن الله غفور رحيمفَإِنِ انتَهَوْاْ فَإِنَّ اللّهَ غَفُورٌ رَّحِيمٌ | |||||

| Yousuf Ali | But if they cease, Allah is Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful.

[2:193] | Waqatiloohum hatta latakoona fitnatun wayakoona alddeenu lillahi fa-iniintahaw fala AAudwana illa AAala alththalimeena | وقاتلوهم حتى لا تكون فتنة ويكون الدين لله فإن انتهوا فلا عدوان إلا على الظالمين وَقَاتِلُوهُمْ حَتَّى لاَ تَكُونَ فِتْنَةٌ وَيَكُونَ الدِّينُ لِلّهِ فَإِنِ انتَهَواْ فَلاَ عُدْوَانَ إِلاَّ عَلَى الظَّالِمِينَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اور ان سے جنگ کرتے رہو حتٰی کہ کوئی فتنہ باقی نہ رہے اور دین (یعنی زندگی اور بندگی کا نظام عملًا) اﷲ ہی کے تابع ہو جائے، پھر اگر وہ باز آجائیں تو سوائے ظالموں کے کسی پر زیادتی روا نہیں | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | And fight them on until there is no more Tumult or oppression, and there prevail justice and faith in Allah; but if they cease, Let there be no hostility except to those who practise oppression.

[4:171] | Ya ahla alkitabi lataghloo fee deenikum wala taqooloo AAala Allahiilla alhaqqa innama almaseehu AAeesaibnu maryama rasoolu Allahi wakalimatuhu alqahaila maryama waroohun minhu faaminoo biAllahiwarusulihi wala taqooloo thalathatun intahookhayran lakum innama Allahu ilahun wahidunsubhanahu an yakoona lahu waladun lahu ma fee alssamawatiwama fee al-ardi wakafa biAllahiwakeelan | يا أهل الكتاب لا تغلوا في دينكم ولا تقولوا على الله إلا الحق إنما المسيح عيسى ابن مريم رسول الله وكلمته ألقاها إلى مريم وروح منه فآمنوا بالله ورسله ولا تقولوا ثلاثة انتهوا خيرا لكم إنما الله إله واحد سبحانه أن يكون له ولد له ما في السماوات وما في الأرض وكفى بالله وكيلا يَا أَهْلَ الْكِتَابِ لاَ تَغْلُواْ فِي دِينِكُمْ وَلاَ تَقُولُواْ عَلَى اللّهِ إِلاَّ الْحَقِّ إِنَّمَا الْمَسِيحُ عِيسَى ابْنُ مَرْيَمَ رَسُولُ اللّهِ وَكَلِمَتُهُ أَلْقَاهَا إِلَى مَرْيَمَ وَرُوحٌ مِّنْهُ فَآمِنُواْ بِاللّهِ وَرُسُلِهِ وَلاَ تَقُولُواْ ثَلاَثَةٌ انتَهُواْ خَيْرًا لَّكُمْ إِنَّمَا اللّهُ إِلَـهٌ وَاحِدٌ سُبْحَانَهُ أَن يَكُونَ لَهُ وَلَدٌ لَّهُ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَات وَمَا فِي الأَرْضِ وَكَفَى بِاللّهِ وَكِيلاً | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اے اہلِ کتاب! تم اپنے دین میں حد سے زائد نہ بڑھو اور اﷲ کی شان میں سچ کے سوا کچھ نہ کہو، حقیقت صرف یہ ہے کہ مسیح عیسٰی ابن مریم (علیہما السلام) اﷲ کا رسول اور اس کا کلمہ ہے جسے اس نے مریم کی طرف پہنچا دیا اور اس (کی طرف) سے ایک روح ہے۔ پس تم اﷲ اور اس کے رسولوں پر ایمان لاؤ اور مت کہو کہ (معبود) تین ہیں، (اس عقیدہ سے) باز آجاؤ، (یہ) تمہارے لئے بہتر ہے۔ بیشک اﷲ ہی یکتا معبود ہے، وہ اس سے پاک ہے کہ اس کے لئے کوئی اولاد ہو، (سب کچھ) اسی کا ہے جو کچھ آسمانوں میں ہے اور جو کچھ زمین میں ہے، اور اﷲ کا کارساز ہونا کافی ہے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | O People of the Book! Commit no excesses in your religion: Nor say of Allah aught but the truth. Christ Jesus the son of Mary was (no more than) a messenger of Allah, and His Word, which He bestowed on Mary, and a spirit proceeding from Him: so believe in Allah and His messengers. Say not "Trinity" : desist: it will be better for you: for Allah is one Allah: Glory be to Him: (far exalted is He) above having a son. To Him belong all things in the heavens and on earth. And enough is Allah as a Disposer of affairs.

[8:39] | Waqatiloohum hatta latakoona fitnatun wayakoona alddeenu kulluhu lillahifa-ini intahaw fa-inna Allaha bima yaAAmaloona baseerun | وقاتلوهم حتى لا تكون فتنة ويكون الدين كله لله فإن انتهوا فإن الله بما يعملون بصير وَقَاتِلُوهُمْ حَتَّى لاَ تَكُونَ فِتْنَةٌ وَيَكُونَ الدِّينُ كُلُّهُ لِلّهِ فَإِنِ انتَهَوْاْ فَإِنَّ اللّهَ بِمَا يَعْمَلُونَ بَصِيرٌ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اور (اے اہلِ حق!) تم ان (کفر و طاغوت کے سرغنوں) کے ساتھ (انقلابی) جنگ کرتے رہو، یہاں تک کہ (دین دشمنی کا) کوئی فتنہ (باقی) نہ رہ جائے اور سب دین (یعنی نظامِ بندگی و زندگی) اللہ ہی کا ہو جائے، پھر اگر وہ باز آجائیں تو بیشک اللہ اس (عمل) کو جو وہ انجام دے رہے ہیں، خوب دیکھ رہا ہے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | And fight them on until there is no more tumult or oppression, and there prevail justice and faith in Allah altogether and everywhere; but if they cease, verily Allah doth see all that they do.
