| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |
| 1. [6:150] | Qul halumma shuhadaakumu allatheenayashhadoona anna Allaha harrama hatha fa-inshahidoo fala tashhad maAAahum wala tattabiAA ahwaaallatheena kaththaboo bi-ayatinawaallatheena la yu/minoona bial-akhiratiwahum birabbihim yaAAdiloona |  قل هلم شهداءكم الذين يشهدون أن الله حرم هذا فإن شهدوا فلا تشهد معهم ولا تتبع أهواء الذين كذبوا بآياتنا والذين لا يؤمنون بالآخرة وهم بربهم يعدلونقُلْ هَلُمَّ شُهَدَاءَكُمُ الَّذِينَ يَشْهَدُونَ أَنَّ اللّهَ حَرَّمَ هَـذَا فَإِن شَهِدُواْ فَلاَ تَشْهَدْ مَعَهُمْ وَلاَ تَتَّبِعْ أَهْوَاءَ الَّذِينَ كَذَّبُواْ بِآيَاتِنَا وَالَّذِينَ لاَ يُؤْمِنُونَ بِالْآخِرَةِ وَهُم بِرَبِّهِمْ يَعْدِلُونَ | |||||

| Tahir ul Qadri | (ان مشرکوں سے) فرما دیجئے کہ تم اپنے ان گواہوں کو پیش کرو جو (آکر) اس بات کی گواہی دیں کہ اﷲ نے اسے حرام کیا ہے، پھر اگر وہ (جھوٹی) گواہی دے ہی دیں تو ان کی گواہی کو تسلیم نہ کرنا (بلکہ ان کا جھوٹا ہونا ان پر آشکار کر دینا)، اور نہ ایسے لوگوں کی خواہشات کی پیروی کرنا جو ہماری آیتوں کو جھٹلاتے ہیں اور جو آخرت پر ایمان نہیں رکھتے اور وہ (معبودانِ باطلہ کو) اپنے رب کے برابر ٹھہراتے ہیں | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Say: "Bring forward your witnesses to prove that Allah did forbid so and so." If they bring such witnesses, be not thou amongst them: Nor follow thou the vain desires of such as treat our signs as falsehoods, and such as believe not in the Hereafter: for they hold others as equal with their Guardian-Lord.

| 2. [24:8] | Wayadrao AAanha alAAathaba antashhada arbaAAa shahadatin biAllahiinnahu lamina alkathibeena | ويدرأ عنها العذاب أن تشهد أربع شهادات بالله إنه لمن الكاذبين وَيَدْرَؤُاْ عَنْهَا الْعَذَابَ أَنْ تَشْهَدَ أَرْبَعَ شَهَادَاتٍ بِاللَّهِ إِنَّهُ لَمِنَ الْكَاذِبِينَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اور (اسی طرح) یہ بات اس (عورت) سے (بھی) سزا کو ٹال سکتی ہے کہ وہ چار مرتبہ اللہ کی قسم کھا کر (خود) گواہی دے کہ وہ (مرد اس تہمت کے لگانے میں) جھوٹا ہے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | But it would avert the punishment from the wife, if she bears witness four times (with an oath) By Allah, that (her husband) is telling a lie;

| 3. [24:24] | Yawma tashhadu AAalayhim alsinatuhumwaaydeehim waarjuluhum bima kanoo yaAAmaloona | يوم تشهد عليهم ألسنتهم وأيديهم وأرجلهم بما كانوا يعملون يَوْمَ تَشْهَدُ عَلَيْهِمْ أَلْسِنَتُهُمْ وَأَيْدِيهِمْ وَأَرْجُلُهُم بِمَا كَانُوا يَعْمَلُونَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | جس دن (خود) ان کی زبانیں اور ان کے ہاتھ اور ان کے پاؤں انہی کے خلاف گواہی دیں گے کہ جو کچھ وہ کرتے رہے تھے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | On the Day when their tongues, their hands, and their feet will bear witness against them as to their actions.
