| 1. [3:166] | Wama asabakum yawma iltaqaaljamAAani fabi-ithni Allahi waliyaAAlamaalmu/mineena |  وما أصابكم يوم التقى الجمعان فبإذن الله وليعلم المؤمنينوَمَا أَصَابَكُمْ يَوْمَ الْتَقَى الْجَمْعَانِ فَبِإِذْنِ اللّهِ وَلِيَعْلَمَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ | |||||

| Tahir ul Qadri | (اے مومنو! یہود بنو نَضیر کے محاصرہ کے دوران) جو کھجور کے درخت تم نے کاٹ ڈالے یا تم نے انہیں اُن کی جڑوں پر کھڑا چھوڑ دیا تو (یہ سب) اللہ ہی کے حکم سے تھا اور اس لئے کہ وہ نافرمانوں کو ذلیل و رسوا کرے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Whether ye cut down (O ye Muslim!) The tender palm-trees, or ye left them standing on their roots, it was by leave of Allah, and in order that He might cover with shame the rebellious transgresses.
