| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |
| 1. [60:10] | Ya ayyuha allatheena amanooitha jaakumu almu/minatu muhajiratinfaimtahinoohunna Allahu aAAlamu bi-eemanihinnafa-in AAalimtumoohunna mu/minatin falatarjiAAoohunna ila alkuffari la hunna hillunlahum wala hum yahilloona lahunna waatoohumma anfaqoo wala junaha AAalaykum an tankihoohunnaitha ataytumoohunna ojoorahunna walatumsikoo biAAisami alkawafiri wais-aloo maanfaqtum walyas-aloo ma anfaqoo thalikum hukmuAllahi yahkumu baynakum waAllahuAAaleemun hakeemun |  يا أيها الذين آمنوا إذا جاءكم المؤمنات مهاجرات فامتحنوهن الله أعلم بإيمانهن فإن علمتموهن مؤمنات فلا ترجعوهن إلى الكفار لا هن حل لهم ولا هم يحلون لهن وآتوهم ما أنفقوا ولا جناح عليكم أن تنكحوهن إذا آتيتموهن أجورهن ولا تمسكوا بعصم الكوافر واسألوا ما أنفقتم وليسألوا ما أنفقوا ذلكم حكم الله يحكم بينكم والله عليم حكيميَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا إِذَا جَاءَكُمُ الْمُؤْمِنَاتُ مُهَاجِرَاتٍ فَامْتَحِنُوهُنَّ اللَّهُ أَعْلَمُ بِإِيْمَانِهِنَّ فَإِنْ عَلِمْتُمُوهُنَّ مُؤْمِنَاتٍ فَلَا تَرْجِعُوهُنَّ إِلَى الْكُفَّارِ لَا هُنَّ حِلٌّ لَّهُمْ وَلَا هُمْ يَحِلُّونَ لَهُنَّ وَآتُوهُم مَّا أَنفَقُوا وَلَا جُنَاحَ عَلَيْكُمْ أَن تَنكِحُوهُنَّ إِذَا آتَيْتُمُوهُنَّ أُجُورَهُنَّ وَلَا تُمْسِكُوا بِعِصَمِ الْكَوَافِرِ وَاسْأَلُوا مَا أَنفَقْتُمْ وَلْيَسْأَلُوا مَا أَنفَقُوا ذَلِكُمْ حُكْمُ اللَّهِ يَحْكُمُ بَيْنَكُمْ وَاللَّهُ عَلِيمٌ حَكِيمٌ | |||||

| Tahir ul Qadri | اے ایمان والو! جب تمہارے پاس مومن عورتیں ہجرت کر کے آئیں تو انہیں اچھی طرح جانچ لیا کرو، اللہ اُن کے ایمان (کی حقیقت) سے خوب آگاہ ہے، پھر اگر تمہیں اُن کے مومن ہونے کا یقین ہو جائے تو انہیں کافروں کی طرف واپس نہ بھیجو، نہ یہ (مومنات) اُن (کافروں) کے لئے حلال ہیں اور نہ وہ (کفّار) اِن (مومن عورتوں) کے لئے حلال ہیں، اور اُن (کافروں) نے جو (مال بصورتِ مَہر اِن پر) خرچ کیا ہو وہ اُن کو ادا کر دو، اور تم پر اس (بات) میں کوئی گناہ نہیں کہ تم اِن سے نکاح کر لو جبکہ تم اُن (عورتوں) کا مَہر انہیں ادا کر دو، اور (اے مسلمانو!) تم بھی کافر عورتوں کو (اپنے) عقدِ نکاح میں نہ روکے رکھو اور تم (کفّار سے) وہ (مال) طلب کر لو جو تم نے (اُن عورتوں پر بصورتِ مَہر) خرچ کیا تھا اور وہ (کفّار تم سے) وہ (مال) مانگ لیں جو انہوں نے (اِن عورتوں پر بصورتِ مَہر) خرچ کیا تھا، یہی اللہ کا حکم ہے، اور وہ تمہارے درمیان فیصلہ فرما رہا ہے، اور اللہ خوب جاننے والا بڑی حکمت والا ہے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | O ye who believe! When there come to you believing women refugees, examine (and test) them: Allah knows best as to their Faith: if ye ascertain that they are Believers, then send them not back to the Unbelievers. They are not lawful (wives) for the Unbelievers, nor are the (Unbelievers) lawful (husbands) for them. But pay the Unbelievers what they have spent (on their dower), and there will be no blame on you if ye marry them on payment of their dower to them. But hold not to the guardianship of unbelieving women: ask for what ye have spent on their dowers, and let the (Unbelievers) ask for what they have spent (on the dowers of women who come over to you). Such is the command of Allah: He judges (with justice) between you. And Allah is Full of Knowledge and Wisdom.

| Tahir ul Qadri | اللہ کے نزدیک بہت سخت ناپسندیدہ بات یہ ہے کہ تم وہ بات کہو جو خود نہیں کرتے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Grievously odious is it in the sight of Allah that ye say that which ye do not.

| 3. [62:1] | Yusabbihu lillahi ma feealssamawati wama fee al-ardialmaliki alquddoosi alAAazeezi alhakeemi | يسبح لله ما في السماوات وما في الأرض الملك القدوس العزيز الحكيم يُسَبِّحُ لِلَّهِ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَا فِي الْأَرْضِ الْمَلِكِ الْقُدُّوسِ الْعَزِيزِ الْحَكِيمِ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | (ہر چیز) جو آسمانوں میں ہے اور جو زمین میں ہے اللہ کی تسبیح کرتی ہے (جو حقیقی) بادشاہ ہے، (ہر نقص و عیب سے) پاک ہے، عزت و غلبہ والا ہے بڑی حکمت والا ہے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Whatever is in the heavens and on earth, doth declare the Praises and Glory of Allah,- the Sovereign, the Holy One, the Exalted in Might, the Wise.

| 4. [63:2] | Ittakhathoo aymanahum junnatanfasaddoo AAan sabeeli Allahi innahum saa makanoo yaAAmaloona | اتخذوا أيمانهم جنة فصدوا عن سبيل الله إنهم ساء ما كانوا يعملون اتَّخَذُوا أَيْمَانَهُمْ جُنَّةً فَصَدُّوا عَن سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ إِنَّهُمْ سَاءَ مَا كَانُوا يَعْمَلُونَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | انہوں نے اپنی قَسموں کو ڈھال بنا رکھا ہے پھر یہ (لوگوں کو) اللہ کی راہ سے روکتے ہیں، بیشک وہ بہت ہی برا (کام) ہے جو یہ لوگ کر رہے ہیں | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | They have made their oaths a screen (for their misdeeds): thus they obstruct (men) from the Path of Allah: truly evil are their deeds.

| Tahir ul Qadri | ہر وہ چیز جو آسمانوں میں ہے اور زمین میں ہے اللہ کی تسبیح کرتی ہے۔ اسی کی ساری بادشاہت ہے اور اسی کے لئے ساری تعریف ہے اور وہ ہر چیز پر بڑا قادر ہے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Whatever is in the heavens and on earth, doth declare the Praises and Glory of Allah: to Him belongs dominion, and to Him belongs praise: and He has power over all things.

[60:11] | Wa-in fatakum shay-on min azwajikumila alkuffari faAAaqabtum faatoo allatheenathahabat azwajuhum mithla ma anfaqoo waittaqooAllaha allathee antum bihi mu/minoona | وإن فاتكم شيء من أزواجكم إلى الكفار فعاقبتم فآتوا الذين ذهبت أزواجهم مثل ما أنفقوا واتقوا الله الذي أنتم به مؤمنون وَإِن فَاتَكُمْ شَيْءٌ مِّنْ أَزْوَاجِكُمْ إِلَى الْكُفَّارِ فَعَاقَبْتُمْ فَآتُوا الَّذِينَ ذَهَبَتْ أَزْوَاجُهُم مِّثْلَ مَا أَنفَقُوا وَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ الَّذِي أَنتُم بِهِ مُؤْمِنُونَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اور اگر تمہاری بیویوں میں سے کوئی تم سے چھوٹ کر کافروں کی طرف چلی جائے پھر (جب) تم جنگ میں غالب آجاؤ اور مالِ غنیمت پاؤ تو (اس میں سے) ان لوگوں کو جن کی عورتیں چلی گئی تھیں اس قدر (مال) ادا کر دو جتنا وہ (اُن کے مَہر میں)خرچ کر چکے تھے، اور اُس اللہ سے ڈرتے رہو جس پر تم ایمان رکھتے ہو | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | And if any of your wives deserts you to the Unbelievers, and ye have an accession (by the coming over of a woman from the other side), then pay to those whose wives have deserted the equivalent of what they had spent (on their dower). And fear Allah, in Whom ye believe.

[62:11] | Wa-itha raaw tijaratan awlahwan infaddoo ilayha watarakooka qa-imanqul ma AAinda Allahi khayrun mina allahwi wamina alttijaratiwaAllahu khayru alrraziqeena | وإذا رأوا تجارة أو لهوا انفضوا إليها وتركوك قائما قل ما عند الله خير من اللهو ومن التجارة والله خير الرازقين وَإِذَا رَأَوْا تِجَارَةً أَوْ لَهْوًا انفَضُّوا إِلَيْهَا وَتَرَكُوكَ قَائِمًا قُلْ مَا عِندَ اللَّهِ خَيْرٌ مِّنَ اللَّهْوِ وَمِنَ التِّجَارَةِ وَاللَّهُ خَيْرُ الرَّازِقِينَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اور جب انہوں نے کوئی تجارت یا کھیل تماشا دیکھا تو (اپنی حاجت مندی اور معاشی تنگی کے باعث) اس کی طرف بھاگ کھڑے ہوئے اور آپ کو (خطبہ میں) کھڑے چھوڑ گئے، فرما دیجئے: جو کچھ اللہ کے پاس ہے وہ کھیل سے اور تجارت سے بہتر ہے، اور اللہ سب سے بہتر رزق دینے والا ہے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | But when they see some bargain or some amusement, they disperse headlong to it, and leave thee standing. Say: "The (blessing) from the Presence of Allah is better than any amusement or bargain! and Allah is the Best to provide (for all needs)."

[63:10] | Waanfiqoo min ma razaqnakummin qabli an ya/tiya ahadakumu almawtu fayaqoola rabbilawla akhkhartanee ila ajalin qareebin faassaddaqawaakun mina alssaliheena | وأنفقوا من ما رزقناكم من قبل أن يأتي أحدكم الموت فيقول رب لولا أخرتني إلى أجل قريب فأصدق وأكن من الصالحين وَأَنفِقُوا مِن مَّا رَزَقْنَاكُم مِّن قَبْلِ أَن يَأْتِيَ أَحَدَكُمُ الْمَوْتُ فَيَقُولَ رَبِّ لَوْلَا أَخَّرْتَنِي إِلَى أَجَلٍ قَرِيبٍ فَأَصَّدَّقَ وَأَكُن مِّنَ الصَّالِحِينَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اور تم اس (مال) میں سے جو ہم نے تمہیں عطا کیا ہے (اللہ کی راہ میں) خرچ کرو قبل اِس کے کہ تم میں سے کسی کو موت آجائے پھر وہ کہنے لگے: اے میرے رب! تو نے مجھے تھوڑی مدت تک کی مہلت اور کیوں نہ دے دی کہ میں صدقہ و خیرات کرلیتا اور نیکوکاروں میں سے ہو جاتا | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | and spend something (in charity) out of the substance which We have bestowed on you, before Death should come to any of you and he should say, "O my Lord! why didst Thou not give me respite for a little while? I should then have given (largely) in charity, and I should have been one of the doers of good".

[64:4] | YaAAlamu ma fee alssamawatiwaal-ardi wayaAAlamu ma tusirroona wamatuAAlinoona waAllahu AAaleemun bithati alssudoori | يعلم ما في السماوات والأرض ويعلم ما تسرون وما تعلنون والله عليم بذات الصدور يَعْلَمُ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَيَعْلَمُ مَا تُسِرُّونَ وَمَا تُعْلِنُونَ وَاللَّهُ عَلِيمٌ بِذَاتِ الصُّدُورِ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | جو کچھ آسمانوں اور زمین میں ہے وہ جانتا ہے اور ان باتوں کو (بھی) جانتا ہے جو تم چھپاتے ہو، اور جو ظاہر کرتے ہو اور اللہ سینوں والی (راز کی) باتوں کو (بھی) خوب جاننے والا ہے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | He knows what is in the heavens and on earth; and He knows what ye conceal and what ye reveal: yea, Allah knows well the (secrets) of (all) hearts.

[64:11] | Ma asaba min museebatinilla bi-ithni Allahi waman yu/min biAllahiyahdi qalbahu waAllahu bikulli shay-in AAaleemun | ما أصاب من مصيبة إلا بإذن الله ومن يؤمن بالله يهد قلبه والله بكل شيء عليم مَا أَصَابَ مِن مُّصِيبَةٍ إِلَّا بِإِذْنِ اللَّهِ وَمَن يُؤْمِن بِاللَّهِ يَهْدِ قَلْبَهُ وَاللَّهُ بِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ عَلِيمٌ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | (کسی کو) کوئی مصیبت نہیں پہنچتی مگر اللہ کے حکم سے اور جو شخص اللہ پر ایمان لاتا ہے تو وہ اُس کے دل کو ہدایت فرما دیتا ہے، اور اللہ ہر چیز کو خوب جاننے والا ہے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | No kind of calamity can occur, except by the leave of Allah: and if any one believes in Allah, (Allah) guides his heart (aright): for Allah knows all things.

[64:16] | Faittaqoo Allaha maistataAAtum waismaAAoo waateeAAoo waanfiqookhayran li-anfusikum waman yooqa shuhha nafsihi faola-ikahumu almuflihoona | فاتقوا الله ما استطعتم واسمعوا وأطيعوا وأنفقوا خيرا لأنفسكم ومن يوق شح نفسه فأولئك هم المفلحون فَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ مَا اسْتَطَعْتُمْ وَاسْمَعُوا وَأَطِيعُوا وَأَنفِقُوا خَيْرًا لِّأَنفُسِكُمْ وَمَن يُوقَ شُحَّ نَفْسِهِ فَأُوْلَئِكَ هُمُ الْمُفْلِحُونَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | پس تم اللہ سے ڈرتے رہو جس قدر تم سے ہوسکے اور (اُس کے احکام) سنو اور اطاعت کرو اور (اس کی راہ میں) خرچ کرو یہ تمہارے لئے بہتر ہوگا، اور جو اپنے نفس کے بخل سے بچا لیا جائے سو وہی لوگ فلاح پانے والے ہیں | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | So fear Allah as much as ye can; listen and obey and spend in charity for the benefit of your own soul and those saved from the covetousness of their own souls,- they are the ones that achieve prosperity.

[65:7] | Liyunfiq thoo saAAatin min saAAatihiwaman qudira AAalayhi rizquhu falyunfiq mimma atahuAllahu la yukallifu Allahu nafsan illama ataha sayajAAalu AllahubaAAda AAusrin yusran | لينفق ذو سعة من سعته ومن قدر عليه رزقه فلينفق مما آتاه الله لا يكلف الله نفسا إلا ما آتاها سيجعل الله بعد عسر يسرا لِيُنفِقْ ذُو سَعَةٍ مِّن سَعَتِهِ وَمَن قُدِرَ عَلَيْهِ رِزْقُهُ فَلْيُنفِقْ مِمَّا آتَاهُ اللَّهُ لَا يُكَلِّفُ اللَّهُ نَفْسًا إِلَّا مَا آتَاهَا سَيَجْعَلُ اللَّهُ بَعْدَ عُسْرٍ يُسْرًا | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | صاحبِ وسعت کو اپنی وسعت (کے لحاظ) سے خرچ کرنا چاہئے، اور جس شخص پر اُس کا رِزق تنگ کر دیا گیا ہو تو وہ اُسی (روزی) میں سے (بطورِ نفقہ) خرچ کرے جو اُسے اللہ نے عطا فرمائی ہے۔ اللہ کسی شخص کو مکلّف نہیں ٹھہراتا مگر اسی قدر جتنا کہ اُس نے اسے عطا فرما رکھا ہے، اللہ عنقریب تنگی کے بعد کشائش پیدا فرما دے گا | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Let the man of means spend according to his means: and the man whose resources are restricted, let him spend according to what Allah has given him. Allah puts no burden on any person beyond what He has given him. After a difficulty, Allah will soon grant relief.

[66:1] | Ya ayyuha alnnabiyyulima tuharrimu ma ahalla Allahu lakatabtaghee mardata azwajika waAllahughafoorun raheemun | يا أيها النبي لم تحرم ما أحل الله لك تبتغي مرضات أزواجك والله غفور رحيم يَا أَيُّهَا النَّبِيُّ لِمَ تُحَرِّمُ مَا أَحَلَّ اللَّهُ لَكَ تَبْتَغِي مَرْضَاتَ أَزْوَاجِكَ وَاللَّهُ غَفُورٌ رَّحِيمٌ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اے نبئ (مکرّم!) آپ خود کو اس چیز (یعنی شہد کے نوش کرنے) سے کیوں منع فرماتے ہیں جسے اللہ نے آپ کے لئے حلال فرما رکھا ہے۔ آپ اپنی ازواج کی (اس قدر) دل جوئی فرماتے ہیں، اور اللہ بڑا بخشنے والا نہایت مہربان ہے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | O Prophet! Why holdest thou to be forbidden that which Allah has made lawful to thee? Thou seekest to please thy consorts. But Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.

| 14. [66:7] | Ya ayyuha allatheenakafaroo la taAAtathiroo alyawma innamatujzawna ma kuntum taAAmaloona | يا أيها الذين كفروا لا تعتذروا اليوم إنما تجزون ما كنتم تعملون يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا لَا تَعْتَذِرُوا الْيَوْمَ إِنَّمَا تُجْزَوْنَ مَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اے کافرو! آج کے دن کوئی عذر پیش نہ کرو، بس تمہیں اسی کا بدلہ دیا جائے گا جو کرتے رہے تھے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | (They will say), "O ye Unbelievers! Make no excuses this Day! Ye are being but requited for all that ye did!"

[67:3] | Allathee khalaqa sabAAa samawatintibaqan ma tara fee khalqi alrrahmanimin tafawutin fairjiAAi albasara hal taramin futoorin | الذي خلق سبع سماوات طباقا ما ترى في خلق الرحمن من تفاوت فارجع البصر هل ترى من فطور الَّذِي خَلَقَ سَبْعَ سَمَاوَاتٍ طِبَاقًا مَّا تَرَى فِي خَلْقِ الرَّحْمَنِ مِن تَفَاوُتٍ فَارْجِعِ الْبَصَرَ هَلْ تَرَى مِن فُطُورٍ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | جس نے سات (یا متعدّد) آسمانی کرّے باہمی مطابقت کے ساتھ (طبق دَر طبق) پیدا فرمائے، تم (خدائے) رحمان کے نظامِ تخلیق میں کوئی بے ضابطگی اور عدمِ تناسب نہیں دیکھو گے، سو تم نگاہِ (غور و فکر) پھیر کر دیکھو، کیا تم اس (تخلیق) میں کوئی شگاف یا خلل (یعنی شکستگی یا اِنقطاع) دیکھتے ہو | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | He Who created the seven heavens one above another: No want of proportion wilt thou see in the Creation of (Allah) Most Gracious. So turn thy vision again: seest thou any flaw?

[66:6] | Ya ayyuha allatheena amanooqoo anfusakum waahleekum naran waqooduha alnnasuwaalhijaratu AAalayha mala-ikatunghilathun shidadun la yaAAsoonaAllaha ma amarahum wayafAAaloona mayu/maroona | يا أيها الذين آمنوا قوا أنفسكم وأهليكم نارا وقودها الناس والحجارة عليها ملائكة غلاظ شداد لا يعصون الله ما أمرهم ويفعلون ما يؤمرون يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا قُوا أَنفُسَكُمْ وَأَهْلِيكُمْ نَارًا وَقُودُهَا النَّاسُ وَالْحِجَارَةُ عَلَيْهَا مَلَائِكَةٌ غِلَاظٌ شِدَادٌ لاَّ يَعْصُونَ اللَّهَ مَا أَمَرَهُمْ وَيَفْعَلُونَ مَا يُؤْمَرُونَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اے ایمان والو! اپنے آپ کو اور اپنے اہل و عیال کو اس آگ سے بچاؤ جس کا ایندھن انسان اور پتھر ہیں، جس پر سخت مزاج طاقتور فرشتے (مقرر) ہیں جو کسی بھی امر میں جس کا وہ انہیں حکم دیتا ہے اﷲ کی نافرمانی نہیں کرتے اور وہی کام انجام دیتے ہیں جس کا انہیں حکم دیا جاتا ہے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | O ye who believe! save yourselves and your families from a Fire whose fuel is Men and Stones, over which are (appointed) angels stern (and) severe, who flinch not (from executing) the Commands they receive from Allah, but do (precisely) what they are commanded.

[67:9] | Qaloo bala qad jaananatheerun fakaththabna waqulna manazzala Allahu min shay-in in antum illa fee dalalinkabeerin | قالوا بلى قد جاءنا نذير فكذبنا وقلنا ما نزل الله من شيء إن أنتم إلا في ضلال كبير قَالُوا بَلَى قَدْ جَاءَنَا نَذِيرٌ فَكَذَّبْنَا وَقُلْنَا مَا نَزَّلَ اللَّهُ مِن شَيْءٍ إِنْ أَنتُمْ إِلَّا فِي ضَلَالٍ كَبِيرٍ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | وہ کہیں گے: کیوں نہیں! بے شک ہمارے پاس ڈر سنانے والا آیا تھا تو ہم نے جھٹلا دیا اور ہم نے کہا کہ اللہ نے کوئی چیز نازل نہیں کی، تم تو محض بڑی گمراہی میں (پڑے ہوئے) ہو | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | They will say: "Yes indeed; a Warner did come to us, but we rejected him and said, 'Allah never sent down any (Message): ye are nothing but an egregious delusion!'"

| 18. [67:10] | Waqaloo law kunna nasmaAAu awnaAAqilu ma kunna fee as-habi alssaAAeeri | وقالوا لو كنا نسمع أو نعقل ما كنا في أصحاب السعير وَقَالُوا لَوْ كُنَّا نَسْمَعُ أَوْ نَعْقِلُ مَا كُنَّا فِي أَصْحَابِ السَّعِيرِ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اور کہیں گے: اگر ہم (حق کو) سنتے یا سمجھتے ہوتے تو ہم (آج) اہلِ جہنم میں (شامل) نہ ہوتے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | They will further say: "Had we but listened or used our intelligence, we should not (now) be among the Companions of the Blazing Fire!"

[67:19] | Awa lam yaraw ila alttayrifawqahum saffatin wayaqbidna mayumsikuhunna illa alrrahmanu innahubikulli shay-in baseerun | أولم يروا إلى الطير فوقهم صافات ويقبضن ما يمسكهن إلا الرحمن إنه بكل شيء بصير أَوَلَمْ يَرَوْا إِلَى الطَّيْرِ فَوْقَهُمْ صَافَّاتٍ وَيَقْبِضْنَ مَا يُمْسِكُهُنَّ إِلَّا الرَّحْمَنُ إِنَّهُ بِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ بَصِيرٌ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | کیا اُنہوں نے پرندوں کو اپنے اوپر پر پھیلائے ہوئے اور (کبھی) پر سمیٹے ہوئے نہیں دیکھا؟ اُنہیں (فضا میں گرنے سے) کوئی نہیں روک سکتا سوائے رحمان کے (بنائے ہوئے قانون کے)، بے شک وہ ہر چیز کو خوب دیکھنے والا ہے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Do they not observe the birds above them, spreading their wings and folding them in? None can uphold them except (Allah) Most Gracious: Truly (Allah) Most Gracious: Truly it is He that watches over all things.

[67:23] | Qul huwa allathee anshaakum wajaAAalalakumu alssamAAa waal-absara waal-af-idataqaleelan ma tashkuroona | قل هو الذي أنشأكم وجعل لكم السمع والأبصار والأفئدة قليلا ما تشكرون قُلْ هُوَ الَّذِي أَنشَأَكُمْ وَجَعَلَ لَكُمُ السَّمْعَ وَالْأَبْصَارَ وَالْأَفْئِدَةَ قَلِيلًا مَّا تَشْكُرُونَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | آپ فرما دیجئے: وُہی (اللہ) ہے جس نے تمہیں پیدا فرمایا اور تمہارے لئے کان اور آنکھیں اور دِل بنائے، تم بہت ہی کم شکر ادا کرتے ہو | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Say: "It is He Who has created you (and made you grow), and made for you the faculties of hearing, seeing, feeling and understanding: little thanks it is ye give.

| Yousuf Ali | Thou art not, by the Grace of thy Lord, mad or possessed.

| Yousuf Ali | And what will make thee realise what the Sure Reality is?

| Tahir ul Qadri | اور یہ کسی شاعر کا کلام نہیں (کہ اَدبی مہارت سے خود لکھا گیا ہو)، تم بہت ہی کم یقین رکھتے ہو | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | It is not the word of a poet: little it is ye believe!

| Tahir ul Qadri | اور نہ (یہ) کسی کاہن کا کلام ہے (کہ فنی اَندازوں سے وضع کیا گیا ہو)، تم بہت ہی کم نصیحت حاصل کرتے ہو | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Nor is it the word of a soothsayer: little admonition it is ye receive.

| 29. [70:30] | Illa AAala azwajihim awma malakat aymanuhum fa-innahum ghayru maloomeena | إلا على أزواجهم أو ما ملكت أيمانهم فإنهم غير ملومين إِلَّا عَلَى أَزْوَاجِهِمْ أَوْ مَا مَلَكَتْ أَيْمَانُهُمْ فَإِنَّهُمْ غَيْرُ مَلُومِينَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | سوائے اپنی منکوحہ بیویوں کے یا اپنی مملوکہ کنیزوں کے، سو (اِس میں) اُن پر کوئی ملامت نہیں | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Except with their wives and the (captives) whom their right hands possess,- for (then) they are not to be blamed,
