| 1. [40:27] | Waqala moosa innee AAuthtubirabbee warabbikum min kulli mutakabbirin la yu/minubiyawmi alhisabi |  وقال موسى إني عذت بربي وربكم من كل متكبر لا يؤمن بيوم الحسابوَقَالَ مُوسَى إِنِّي عُذْتُ بِرَبِّي وَرَبِّكُم مِّن كُلِّ مُتَكَبِّرٍ لَّا يُؤْمِنُ بِيَوْمِ الْحِسَابِ | |||||

[40:35] | Allatheena yujadiloona fee ayatiAllahi bighayri sultanin atahum kaburamaqtan AAinda Allahi waAAinda allatheena amanookathalika yatbaAAu Allahu AAala kulliqalbi mutakabbirin jabbarin | الذين يجادلون في آيات الله بغير سلطان أتاهم كبر مقتا عند الله وعند الذين آمنوا كذلك يطبع الله على كل قلب متكبر جبار الَّذِينَ يُجَادِلُونَ فِي آيَاتِ اللَّهِ بِغَيْرِ سُلْطَانٍ أَتَاهُمْ كَبُرَ مَقْتًا عِندَ اللَّهِ وَعِندَ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا كَذَلِكَ يَطْبَعُ اللَّهُ عَلَى كُلِّ قَلْبِ مُتَكَبِّرٍ جَبَّارٍ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | جو لوگ اللہ کی آیتوں میں جھگڑا کرتے ہیں بغیر کسی دلیل کے جو ان کے پاس آئی ہو، (یہ جھگڑا کرنا) اللہ کے نزدیک اور ایمان والوں کے نزدیک سخت بیزاری (کی بات) ہے، اسی طرح اللہ ہر ایک مغرور (اور) سر کش کے دل پر مُہر لگا دیتا ہے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | "(Such) as dispute about the Signs of Allah, without any authority that hath reached them, grievous and odious (is such conduct) in the sight of Allah and of the Believers. Thus doth Allah, seal up every heart - of arrogant and obstinate Transgressors."
