| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |
| 1. [40:19] | YaAAlamu kha-inata al-aAAyuni wamatukhfee alssudooru |  يعلم خائنة الأعين وما تخفي الصدوريَعْلَمُ خَائِنَةَ الْأَعْيُنِ وَمَا تُخْفِي الصُّدُورُ | |||||

| Tahir ul Qadri | وہ خیانت کرنے والی نگاہوں کو جانتا ہے اور (ان باتوں کو بھی) جو سینے (اپنے اندر) چھپائے رکھتے ہیں | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | (Allah) knows of (the tricks) that deceive with the eyes, and all that the hearts (of men) conceal.

[40:56] | Inna allatheena yujadiloonafee ayati Allahi bighayri sultanin atahumin fee sudoorihim illa kibrun ma hum bibaligheehifaistaAAith biAllahi innahu huwa alssameeAAualbaseeru | إن الذين يجادلون في آيات الله بغير سلطان أتاهم إن في صدورهم إلا كبر ما هم ببالغيه فاستعذ بالله إنه هو السميع البصير إِنَّ الَّذِينَ يُجَادِلُونَ فِي آيَاتِ اللَّهِ بِغَيْرِ سُلْطَانٍ أَتَاهُمْ إِن فِي صُدُورِهِمْ إِلَّا كِبْرٌ مَّا هُم بِبَالِغِيهِ فَاسْتَعِذْ بِاللَّهِ إِنَّهُ هُوَ السَّمِيعُ الْبَصِيرُ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | بے شک جو لوگ اللہ کی آیتوں میں جھگڑا کرتے ہیں بغیر کسی دلیل کے جو اُن کے پاس آئی ہو، ان کے سینوں میں سوائے غرور کے اور کچھ نہیں ہے وہ اُس (حقیقی برتری) تک پہنچنے والے ہی نہیں۔ پس آپ (ان کے شر سے) اللہ کی پناہ مانگتے رہئے، بے شک وہی خوب سننے والا خوب دیکھنے والا ہے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Those who dispute about the signs of Allah without any authority bestowed on them,- there is nothing in their breasts but (the quest of) greatness, which they shall never attain to: seek refuge, then, in Allah: It is He Who hears and sees (all things).

[40:80] | Walakum feeha manafiAAuwalitablughoo AAalayha hajatan fee sudoorikumwaAAalayha waAAala alfulki tuhmaloona | ولكم فيها منافع ولتبلغوا عليها حاجة في صدوركم وعليها وعلى الفلك تحملون وَلَكُمْ فِيهَا مَنَافِعُ وَلِتَبْلُغُوا عَلَيْهَا حَاجَةً فِي صُدُورِكُمْ وَعَلَيْهَا وَعَلَى الْفُلْكِ تُحْمَلُونَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اور تمہارے لئے ان میں اور بھی فوائد ہیں اور تاکہ تم ان پر سوار ہو کر (مزید) اُس ضرورت (کی جگہ) تک پہنچ سکو جو تمہارے سینوں میں (متعین) ہے اور (یہ کہ) تم اُن پر اور کشتیوں پر سوار کئے جاتے ہو | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | And there are (other) advantages in them for you (besides); that ye may through them attain to any need (there may be) in your hearts; and on them and on ships ye are carried.

[42:24] | Am yaqooloona iftara AAala Allahikathiban fa-in yasha-i Allahu yakhtim AAalaqalbika wayamhu Allahu albatila wayuhiqqualhaqqa bikalimatihi innahu AAaleemun bithatialssudoori | أم يقولون افترى على الله كذبا فإن يشإ الله يختم على قلبك ويمح الله الباطل ويحق الحق بكلماته إنه عليم بذات الصدور أَمْ يَقُولُونَ افْتَرَى عَلَى اللَّهِ كَذِبًا فَإِن يَشَإِ اللَّهُ يَخْتِمْ عَلَى قَلْبِكَ وَيَمْحُ اللَّهُ الْبَاطِلَ وَيُحِقُّ الْحَقَّ بِكَلِمَاتِهِ إِنَّهُ عَلِيمٌ بِذَاتِ الصُّدُورِ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | کیا یہ لوگ کہتے ہیں کہ اس (رسول صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے اللہ پر جھوٹا بہتان تراشا ہے، سو اگر اللہ چاہے توآپ کے قلبِ اطہر پر (صبر و استقامت کی) مُہر ثبت فرما دے (تاکہ آپ کو اِن کی بیہودہ گوئی کا رنج نہ پہنچے)، اور اﷲ باطل کو مٹا دیتا ہے اور اپنے کلمات سے حق کو ثابت رکھتا ہے۔ بیشک وہ سینوں کی باتوں کو خوب جاننے والا ہے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | What! Do they say, "He has forged a falsehood against Allah"? But if Allah willed, He could seal up thy heart. And Allah blots out Vanity, and proves the Truth by His Words. For He knows well the secrets of all hearts.

| 5. [57:6] | Yooliju allayla fee alnnahariwayooliju alnnahara fee allayi wahuwa AAaleemun bithatialssudoori | يولج الليل في النهار ويولج النهار في الليل وهو عليم بذات الصدور يُولِجُ اللَّيْلَ فِي النَّهَارِ وَيُولِجُ النَّهَارَ فِي اللَّيْلِ وَهُوَ عَلِيمٌ بِذَاتِ الصُّدُورِ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | وہی رات کو دن میں داخل کرتا ہے اور دن کو رات میں داخل کرتا ہے، اور وہ سینوں کی (پوشیدہ) باتوں سے بھی خوب باخبر ہے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | He merges Night into Day, and He merges Day into Night; and He has full knowledge of the secrets of (all) hearts.

[59:9] | Waallatheena tabawwaoo alddarawaal-eemana min qablihim yuhibboona man hajarailayhim wala yajidoona fee sudoorihim hajatanmimma ootoo wayu/thiroona AAala anfusihim walaw kanabihim khasasatun waman yooqa shuhha nafsihi faola-ikahumu almuflihoona | والذين تبوءوا الدار والإيمان من قبلهم يحبون من هاجر إليهم ولا يجدون في صدورهم حاجة مما أوتوا ويؤثرون على أنفسهم ولو كان بهم خصاصة ومن يوق شح نفسه فأولئك هم المفلحون وَالَّذِينَ تَبَوَّؤُوا الدَّارَ وَالْإِيْمَانَ مِن قَبْلِهِمْ يُحِبُّونَ مَنْ هَاجَرَ إِلَيْهِمْ وَلَا يَجِدُونَ فِي صُدُورِهِمْ حَاجَةً مِّمَّا أُوتُوا وَيُؤْثِرُونَ عَلَى أَنفُسِهِمْ وَلَوْ كَانَ بِهِمْ خَصَاصَةٌ وَمَن يُوقَ شُحَّ نَفْسِهِ فَأُوْلَئِكَ هُمُ الْمُفْلِحُونَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | (یہ مال اُن انصار کے لئے بھی ہے) جنہوں نے اُن (مہاجرین) سے پہلے ہی شہرِ (مدینہ) اور ایمان کو گھر بنا لیا تھا۔ یہ لوگ اُن سے محبت کرتے ہیں جو اِن کی طرف ہجرت کر کے آئے ہیں۔ اور یہ اپنے سینوں میں اُس (مال) کی نسبت کوئی طلب (یا تنگی) نہیں پاتے جو اُن (مہاجرین) کو دیا جاتا ہے اور اپنی جانوں پر انہیں ترجیح دیتے ہیں اگرچہ خود اِنہیں شدید حاجت ہی ہو، اور جو شخص اپنے نفس کے بُخل سے بچا لیا گیا پس وہی لوگ ہی بامراد و کامیاب ہیں | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | But those who before them, had homes (in Medina) and had adopted the Faith,- show their affection to such as came to them for refuge, and entertain no desire in their hearts for things given to the (latter), but give them preference over themselves, even though poverty was their (own lot). And those saved from the covetousness of their own souls,- they are the ones that achieve prosperity.

| 7. [59:13] | Laantum ashaddu rahbatan fee sudoorihimmina Allahi thalika bi-annahum qawmun layafqahoona | لأنتم أشد رهبة في صدورهم من الله ذلك بأنهم قوم لا يفقهون لَأَنتُمْ أَشَدُّ رَهْبَةً فِي صُدُورِهِم مِّنَ اللَّهِ ذَلِكَ بِأَنَّهُمْ قَوْمٌ لَّا يَفْقَهُونَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | (اے مسلمانو!) بیشک اُن کے دلوں میں اللہ سے (بھی) زیادہ تمہارا رعب اور خوف ہے، یہ اس وجہ سے کہ وہ ایسے لوگ ہیں جو سمجھ ہی نہیں رکھتے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Of a truth ye are stronger (than they) because of the terror in their hearts, (sent) by Allah. This is because they are men devoid of understanding.

[64:4] | YaAAlamu ma fee alssamawatiwaal-ardi wayaAAlamu ma tusirroona wamatuAAlinoona waAllahu AAaleemun bithati alssudoori | يعلم ما في السماوات والأرض ويعلم ما تسرون وما تعلنون والله عليم بذات الصدور يَعْلَمُ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَيَعْلَمُ مَا تُسِرُّونَ وَمَا تُعْلِنُونَ وَاللَّهُ عَلِيمٌ بِذَاتِ الصُّدُورِ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | جو کچھ آسمانوں اور زمین میں ہے وہ جانتا ہے اور ان باتوں کو (بھی) جانتا ہے جو تم چھپاتے ہو، اور جو ظاہر کرتے ہو اور اللہ سینوں والی (راز کی) باتوں کو (بھی) خوب جاننے والا ہے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | He knows what is in the heavens and on earth; and He knows what ye conceal and what ye reveal: yea, Allah knows well the (secrets) of (all) hearts.

| 9. [67:13] | Waasirroo qawlakum awi ijharoo bihi innahuAAaleemun bithati alssudoori | وأسروا قولكم أو اجهروا به إنه عليم بذات الصدور وَأَسِرُّوا قَوْلَكُمْ أَوِ اجْهَرُوا بِهِ إِنَّهُ عَلِيمٌ بِذَاتِ الصُّدُورِ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اور تم لوگ اپنی بات چھپا کر کہو یا اُسے بلند آواز میں کہو، یقیناً وہ سینوں کی (چھپی) باتوں کو (بھی) خوب جانتا ہے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | And whether ye hide your word or publish it, He certainly has (full) knowledge, of the secrets of (all) hearts.

| 10. [94:1] | Alam nashrah laka sadraka | ألم نشرح لك صدرك أَلَمْ نَشْرَحْ لَكَ صَدْرَكَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | کیا ہم نے آپ کی خاطر آپ کا سینہ (انوارِ علم و حکمت اور معرفت کے لئے) کشادہ نہیں فرما دیا | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Have We not expanded thee thy breast?-

| 11. [99:6] | Yawma-ithin yasduru alnnasuashtatan liyuraw aAAmalahum | يومئذ يصدر الناس أشتاتا ليروا أعمالهم يَوْمَئِذٍ يَصْدُرُ النَّاسُ أَشْتَاتًا لِّيُرَوْا أَعْمَالَهُمْ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اس دن لوگ مختلف گروہ بن کر (جدا جدا حالتوں کے ساتھ) نکلیں گے تاکہ انہیں ان کے اَعمال دکھائے جائیں | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | On that Day will men proceed in companies sorted out, to be shown the deeds that they (had done).

| 12. [100:10] | Wahussila ma fee alssudoori | وحصل ما في الصدور وَحُصِّلَ مَا فِي الصُّدُورِ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اور (راز) ظاہر کر دیئے جائیں گے جو سینوں میں ہیں | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | And that which is (locked up) in (human) breasts is made manifest-
