| 1. [27:1] | Ta-seen tilka ayatualqur-ani wakitabin mubeenin |  طس تلك آيات القرآن وكتاب مبينطس تِلْكَ آيَاتُ الْقُرْآنِ وَكِتَابٍ مُّبِينٍ | |||||

| Tahir ul Qadri | طا، سین (حقیقی معنی اﷲ اور رسول صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم ہی بہتر جانتے ہیں)، یہ قرآن اور روشن کتاب کی آیتیں ہیں | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | These are verses of the Qur'an,-a book that makes (things) clear;

| 2. [27:2] | Hudan wabushra lilmu/mineena | هدى وبشرى للمؤمنين هُدًى وَبُشْرَى لِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | (جو) ہدایت ہے اور (ایسے) ایمان والوں کے لئے خوشخبری ہے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | A guide: and glad tidings for the believers,-

| 3. [27:3] | Allatheena yuqeemoona alssalatawayu/toona alzzakata wahum bial-akhiratihum yooqinoona | الذين يقيمون الصلاة ويؤتون الزكاة وهم بالآخرة هم يوقنون الَّذِينَ يُقِيمُونَ الصَّلَاةَ وَيُؤْتُونَ الزَّكَاةَ وَهُم بِالْآخِرَةِ هُمْ يُوقِنُونَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | جو نماز قائم کرتے ہیں اور زکوٰۃ ادا کرتے ہیں اور وہی ہیں جو آخرت پر (بھی) یقین رکھتے ہیں | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Those who establish regular prayers and give in regular charity, and also have (full) assurance of the hereafter.

| 4. [27:4] | Inna allatheena la yu/minoonabial-akhirati zayyanna lahum aAAmalahumfahum yaAAmahoona | إن الذين لا يؤمنون بالآخرة زينا لهم أعمالهم فهم يعمهون إِنَّ الَّذِينَ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ بِالْآخِرَةِ زَيَّنَّا لَهُمْ أَعْمَالَهُمْ فَهُمْ يَعْمَهُونَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | بیشک جو لوگ آخرت پر ایمان نہیں رکھتے ہم نے ان کے اَعمالِ (بد ان کی نگاہوں میں) خوش نما کر دیئے ہیں سو وہ (گمراہی میں) سرگرداں رہتے ہیں | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | As to those who believe not in the Hereafter, We have made their deeds pleasing in their eyes; and so they wander about in distraction.

| 5. [27:77] | Wa-innahu lahudan warahmatunlilmu/mineena | وإنه لهدى ورحمة للمؤمنين وَإِنَّهُ لَهُدًى وَرَحْمَةٌ لِّلْمُؤْمِنِينَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اور بیشک یہ ہدایت ہے اور مومنوں کے لئے رحمت ہے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | And it certainly is a Guide and a Mercy to those who believe.
| ||||||
| Words | |وإنه - And indeed, it| لهدى - (is) surely a guidance| ورحمة - and a mercy| للمؤمنين - for the believers.| | ||||||
| 6. [27:5] | Ola-ika allatheena lahum soo-oalAAathabi wahum fee al-akhirati humu al-akhsaroona | أولئك الذين لهم سوء العذاب وهم في الآخرة هم الأخسرون أُوْلَئِكَ الَّذِينَ لَهُمْ سُوءُ الْعَذَابِ وَهُمْ فِي الْآخِرَةِ هُمُ الْأَخْسَرُونَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | یہی وہ لوگ ہیں جن کے لئے بُرا عذاب ہے اور یہی لوگ آخرت میں (سب سے) زیادہ نقصان اٹھانے والے ہیں | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Such are they for whom a grievous Penalty is (waiting); and in the Hereafter theirs will be the greatest loss.

| 7. [27:6] | Wa-innaka latulaqqa alqur-anamin ladun hakeemin AAaleemin | وإنك لتلقى القرآن من لدن حكيم عليم وَإِنَّكَ لَتُلَقَّى الْقُرْآنَ مِن لَّدُنْ حَكِيمٍ عَلِيمٍ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اور بیشک آپ کو (یہ) قرآن بڑے حکمت والے، علم والے (رب) کی طرف سے سکھایا جا رہا ہے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | As to thee, the Qur'an is bestowed upon thee from the presence of one who is wise and all-knowing.

| Words | |وإنك - And indeed, you| لتلقى - surely, receive| القرآن - the Quran| من - from [near]| لدن - from [near]| حكيم - the All-Wise,| عليم - the All-Knower.| | ||||||

[27:7] | Ith qala moosa li-ahlihiinnee anastu naran saateekum minhabikhabarin aw ateekum bishihabin qabasinlaAAallakum tastaloona | إذ قال موسى لأهله إني آنست نارا سآتيكم منها بخبر أو آتيكم بشهاب قبس لعلكم تصطلون إِذْ قَالَ مُوسَى لِأَهْلِهِ إِنِّي آنَسْتُ نَارًا سَآتِيكُم مِّنْهَا بِخَبَرٍ أَوْ آتِيكُم بِشِهَابٍ قَبَسٍ لَّعَلَّكُمْ تَصْطَلُونَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | (وہ واقعہ یاد کریں) جب موسٰی (علیہ السلام) نے اپنی اہلیہ سے فرمایا کہ میں نے ایک آگ دیکھی ہے (یا مجھے ایک آگ میں شعلۂ انس و محبت نظر آیا ہے)، عنقریب میں تمہارے پاس اس میں سے کوئی خبر لاتا ہوں (جس کے لئے مدت سے دشت و بیاباں میں پھر رہے ہیں) یا تمہیں (بھی اس میں سے) کوئی چمکتا ہوا انگارا لا دیتا ہوں تاکہ تم (بھی اس کی حرارت سے) تپ اٹھو | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Behold! Moses said to his family: "I perceive a fire; soon will I bring you from there some information, or I will bring you a burning brand to light our fuel, that ye may warn yourselves.

[27:8] | Falamma jaaha noodiya anboorika man fee alnnari waman hawlahawasubhana Allahi rabbi alAAalameena | فلما جاءها نودي أن بورك من في النار ومن حولها وسبحان الله رب العالمين فَلَمَّا جَاءَهَا نُودِيَ أَن بُورِكَ مَن فِي النَّارِ وَمَنْ حَوْلَهَا وَسُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | پھر جب وہ اس کے پاس آپہنچے تو آواز دی گئی کہ بابرکت ہے جو اس آگ میں (اپنے حجاب نور کی تجلی فرما رہا) ہے اور وہ (بھی) جو اس کے آس پاس (اُلوہی جلووں کے پرتَو میں) ہے، اور اللہ (ہر قسم کے جسم و مثال سے) پاک ہے جو سارے جہانوں کا رب ہے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | But when he came to the (fire), a voice was heard: "Blessed are those in the fire and those around: and glory to Allah, the Lord of the worlds.

| Words | |فلما - But when| جاءها - he came to it,| نودي - he was called| أن - [that]| بورك - "Blessed is| من - who| في - (is) at| النار - the fire| ومن - and whoever| حولها - (is) around it.| وسبحان - And glory be| الله - (to) Allah| رب - (the) Lord| العالمين - (of) the worlds.| | ||||||
| 10. [27:9] | Ya moosa innahu ana AllahualAAazeezu alhakeemu | يا موسى إنه أنا الله العزيز الحكيم يَا مُوسَى إِنَّهُ أَنَا اللَّهُ الْعَزِيزُ الْحَكِيمُ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اے موسٰی! بیشک وہ (جلوہ فرمانے والا) میں ہی اللہ ہوں جو نہایت غالب حکمت والا ہے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | "O Moses! verily, I am Allah, the exalted in might, the wise!....

| 11. [27:11] | Illa man thalama thummabaddala husnan baAAda soo-in fa-innee ghafoorun raheemun | إلا من ظلم ثم بدل حسنا بعد سوء فإني غفور رحيم إِلَّا مَن ظَلَمَ ثُمَّ بَدَّلَ حُسْنًا بَعْدَ سُوءٍ فَإِنِّي غَفُورٌ رَّحِيمٌ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | مگر جس نے ظلم کیا پھر برائی کے بعد (اسے) نیکی سے بدل دیا تو بیشک میں بڑا بخشنے والا نہایت مہربان ہوں | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | "But if any have done wrong and have thereafter substituted good to take the place of evil, truly, I am Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.

[27:10] | Waalqi AAasaka falamma raahatahtazzu kaannaha jannun walla mudbiranwalam yuAAaqqib ya moosa la takhaf innee layakhafu ladayya almursaloona | وألق عصاك فلما رآها تهتز كأنها جان ولى مدبرا ولم يعقب يا موسى لا تخف إني لا يخاف لدي المرسلون وَأَلْقِ عَصَاكَ فَلَمَّا رَآهَا تَهْتَزُّ كَأَنَّهَا جَانٌّ وَلَّى مُدْبِرًا وَلَمْ يُعَقِّبْ يَا مُوسَى لَا تَخَفْ إِنِّي لَا يَخَافُ لَدَيَّ الْمُرْسَلُونَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اور (اے موسٰی!) اپنی لاٹھی (زمین پر) ڈال دو، پھر جب (موسٰی نے لاٹھی کو زمین پر ڈالنے کے بعد) اسے دیکھا کہ سانپ کی مانند تیز حرکت کر رہی ہے تو (فطری رد ِعمل کے طور پر) پیٹھ پھیر کر بھاگے اور پیچھے مڑ کر (بھی) نہ دیکھا، (ارشاد ہوا): اے موسٰی! خوف نہ کرو بیشک پیغمبر میرے حضور ڈرا نہیں کرتے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | "Now do thou throw thy rod!" But when he saw it moving (of its own accord)as if it had been a snake, he turned back in retreat, and retraced not his steps: "O Moses!" (it was said), "Fear not: truly, in My presence, those called as messengers have no fear,-

| Words | |وألق - And, "Throw| عصاك - your staff."| فلما - But when| رآها - he saw it| تهتز - moving| كأنها - as if it| جان - (were) a snake| ولى - he turned back| مدبرا - (in) flight| ولم - and (did) not| يعقب - look back.| يا - O| موسى - "O Musa!| لا - (Do) not| تخف - fear.| إني - Indeed, [I]| لا - (do) not| يخاف - fear| لدي - (in) My presence| المرسلون - the Messengers.| | ||||||
| 13. [27:13] | Falamma jaat-hum ayatunamubsiratan qaloo hatha sihrun mubeenun | فلما جاءتهم آياتنا مبصرة قالوا هذا سحر مبين فَلَمَّا جَاءَتْهُمْ آيَاتُنَا مُبْصِرَةً قَالُوا هَذَا سِحْرٌ مُّبِينٌ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | پھر جب ان کے پاس ہماری نشانیاں واضح اور روشن ہو کر پہنچ گئیں تو وہ کہنے لگے کہ یہ کھلا جادو ہے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | But when Our Signs came to them, that should have opened their eyes, they said: "This is sorcery manifest!"

| Words | |فلما - But when| جاءتهم - came to them| آياتنا - Our Signs| مبصرة - visible,| قالوا - they said,| هذا - "This| سحر - (is) a magic| مبين - manifest."| | ||||||
| 14. [27:12] | Waadkhil yadaka fee jaybika takhruj baydaamin ghayri soo-in fee tisAAi ayatin ilafirAAawna waqawmihi innahum kanoo qawman fasiqeena | وأدخل يدك في جيبك تخرج بيضاء من غير سوء في تسع آيات إلى فرعون وقومه إنهم كانوا قوما فاسقين وَأَدْخِلْ يَدَكَ فِي جَيْبِكَ تَخْرُجْ بَيْضَاءَ مِنْ غَيْرِ سُوءٍ فِي تِسْعِ آيَاتٍ إِلَى فِرْعَوْنَ وَقَوْمِهِ إِنَّهُمْ كَانُوا قَوْمًا فَاسِقِينَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اور تم اپنا ہاتھ اپنے گریبان کے اندر ڈالو وہ بغیر کسی عیب کے سفید چمک دار (ہو کر) نکلے گا، (یہ دونوں اللہ کی) نو نشانیوں میں (سے) ہیں (انہیں لے کر) فرعون اور اس کی قوم کے پاس جاؤ۔ بیشک وہ نافرمان قوم ہیں | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | "Now put thy hand into thy bosom, and it will come forth white without stain (or harm): (these are) among the nine Signs (thou wilt take) to Pharaoh and his people: for they are a people rebellious in transgression."

| Words | |وأدخل - And enter| يدك - your hand| في - into| جيبك - your bosom| تخرج - it will come forth| بيضاء - white| من - without| غير - without| سوء - harm.| في - (These are) among| تسع - nine| آيات - signs| إلى - to| فرعون - Firaun| وقومه - and his people.| إنهم - Indeed, they| كانوا - are| قوما - a people| فاسقين - defiantly disobedient."| | ||||||
| 15. [27:14] | Wajahadoo biha waistayqanat-haanfusuhum thulman waAAuluwwan faonthurkayfa kana AAaqibatu almufsideena | وجحدوا بها واستيقنتها أنفسهم ظلما وعلوا فانظر كيف كان عاقبة المفسدين وَجَحَدُوا بِهَا وَاسْتَيْقَنَتْهَا أَنفُسُهُمْ ظُلْمًا وَعُلُوًّا فَانظُرْ كَيْفَ كَانَ عَاقِبَةُ الْمُفْسِدِينَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اور انہوں نے ظلم اور تکبّر کے طور پر ان کا سراسر انکار کر دیا حالانکہ ان کے دل ان (نشانیوں کے حق ہونے) کا یقین کر چکے تھے۔ پس آپ دیکھئے کہ فساد بپا کرنے والوں کا کیسا (بُرا) انجام ہوا | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | And they rejected those Signs in iniquity and arrogance, though their souls were convinced thereof: so see what was the end of those who acted corruptly!

[27:15] | Walaqad atayna dawoodawasulaymana AAilman waqala alhamdulillahi allathee faddalana AAalakatheerin min AAibadihi almu/mineena | ولقد آتينا داوود وسليمان علما وقالا الحمد لله الذي فضلنا على كثير من عباده المؤمنين وَلَقَدْ آتَيْنَا دَاوُودَ وَسُلَيْمَانَ عِلْمًا وَقَالَا الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي فَضَّلَنَا عَلَى كَثِيرٍ مِّنْ عِبَادِهِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اور بیشک ہم نے داؤد اور سلیمان (علیہما السلام) کو (غیر معمولی) علم عطا کیا، اور دونوں نے کہا کہ ساری تعریفیں اللہ ہی کے لئے ہیں جس نے ہمیں اپنے بہت سے مومن بندوں پر فضیلت بخشی ہے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | We gave (in the past) knowledge to David and Solomon: And they both said: "Praise be to Allah, Who has favoured us above many of his servants who believe!"

| Words | |ولقد - And verily,| آتينا - We gave| داوود - Dawood| وسليمان - and Sulaiman| علما - knowledge,| وقالا - and they said,| الحمد - "Praise be| لله - to Allah| الذي - the One Who| فضلنا - has favored us| على - over| كثير - many| من - of| عباده - His servants| المؤمنين - the believers."| | ||||||
| 17. [27:17] | Wahushira lisulaymanajunooduhu mina aljinni waal-insi waalttayrifahum yoozaAAoona | وحشر لسليمان جنوده من الجن والإنس والطير فهم يوزعون وَحُشِرَ لِسُلَيْمَانَ جُنُودُهُ مِنَ الْجِنِّ وَالْإِنسِ وَالطَّيْرِ فَهُمْ يُوزَعُونَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اور سلیمان (علیہ السلام) کے لئے ان کے لشکر جنّوں اور انسانوں اور پرندوں (کی تمام جنسوں) میں سے جمع کئے گئے تھے، چنانچہ وہ بغرضِ نظم و تربیت (ان کی خدمت میں) روکے جاتے تھے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | And before Solomon were marshalled his hosts,- of Jinns and men and birds, and they were all kept in order and ranks.

| Words | |وحشر - And were gathered| لسليمان - for Sulaiman| جنوده - his hosts| من - of| الجن - jinn| والإنس - and the men| والطير - and the birds,| فهم - and they| يوزعون - (were) set in rows.| | ||||||
| 18. [27:20] | Watafaqqada alttayra faqalama liya la ara alhudhuda am kana minaalgha-ibeena | وتفقد الطير فقال ما لي لا أرى الهدهد أم كان من الغائبين وَتَفَقَّدَ الطَّيْرَ فَقَالَ مَا لِيَ لَا أَرَى الْهُدْهُدَ أَمْ كَانَ مِنَ الْغَائِبِينَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اور سلیمان (علیہ السلام) نے پرندوں کا جائزہ لیا تو کہنے لگے: مجھے کیا ہوا ہے کہ میں ہدہد کو نہیں دیکھ پا رہا یا وہ (واقعی) غائب ہو گیا ہے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | And he took a muster of the Birds; and he said: "Why is it I see not the Hoopoe? Or is he among the absentees?

| Words | |وتفقد - And he inspected| الطير - the birds| فقال - and said,| ما - "Why| لي - "Why| لا - not| أرى - I see| الهدهد - the hoopoe| أم - or| كان - is he| من - from| الغائبين - the absent?| | ||||||

[27:16] | Wawaritha sulaymanu dawoodawaqala ya ayyuha alnnasuAAullimna mantiqa alttayri waooteenamin kulli shay-in inna hatha lahuwa alfadlualmubeenu | وورث سليمان داوود وقال يا أيها الناس علمنا منطق الطير وأوتينا من كل شيء إن هذا لهو الفضل المبين وَوَرِثَ سُلَيْمَانُ دَاوُودَ وَقَالَ يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ عُلِّمْنَا مَنطِقَ الطَّيْرِ وَأُوتِينَا مِن كُلِّ شَيْءٍ إِنَّ هَذَا لَهُوَ الْفَضْلُ الْمُبِينُ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اور سلیمان (علیہ السلام)، داؤد (علیہ السلام) کے جانشین ہوئے اور انہوں نے کہا: اے لوگو! ہمیں پرندوں کی بولی (بھی) سکھائی گئی ہے اور ہمیں ہر چیز عطا کی گئی ہے۔ بیشک یہ (اللہ کا) واضح فضل ہے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | And Solomon was David's heir. He said: "O ye people! We have been taught the speech of birds, and on us has been bestowed (a little) of all things: this is indeed Grace manifest (from Allah.)"

| 20. [27:21] | LaoAAaththibannahu AAathabanshadeedan aw laathbahannahu aw laya/tiyannee bisultaninmubeenin | لأعذبنه عذابا شديدا أو لأذبحنه أو ليأتيني بسلطان مبين لَأُعَذِّبَنَّهُ عَذَابًا شَدِيدًا أَوْ لَأَذْبَحَنَّهُ أَوْ لَيَأْتِيَنِّي بِسُلْطَانٍ مُّبِينٍ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | میں اسے (بغیر اجازت غائب ہونے پر) ضرور سخت سزا دوں گا یا اسے ضرور ذبح کر ڈالوں گا یا وہ میرے پاس (اپنے بے قصور ہونے کی) واضح دلیل لائے گا | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | "I will certainly punish him with a severe penalty, or execute him, unless he bring me a clear reason (for absence)."

[27:18] | Hatta itha ataw AAalawadi alnnamli qalat namlatun ya ayyuhaalnnamlu odkhuloo masakinakum la yahtimannakumsulaymanu wajunooduhu wahum la yashAAuroona | حتى إذا أتوا على واد النمل قالت نملة يا أيها النمل ادخلوا مساكنكم لا يحطمنكم سليمان وجنوده وهم لا يشعرون حَتَّى إِذَا أَتَوْا عَلَى وَادِي النَّمْلِ قَالَتْ نَمْلَةٌ يَا أَيُّهَا النَّمْلُ ادْخُلُوا مَسَاكِنَكُمْ لَا يَحْطِمَنَّكُمْ سُلَيْمَانُ وَجُنُودُهُ وَهُمْ لَا يَشْعُرُونَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | یہاں تک کہ جب وہ (لشکر) چیونٹیوں کے میدان پر پہنچے تو ایک چیونٹی کہنے لگی: اے چیونٹیو! اپنی رہائش گاہوں میں داخل ہو جاؤ کہیں سلیمان (علیہ السلام) اور ان کے لشکر تمہیں کچل نہ دیں اس حال میں کہ انہیں خبر بھی نہ ہو | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | At length, when they came to a (lowly) valley of ants, one of the ants said: "O ye ants, get into your habitations, lest Solomon and his hosts crush you (under foot) without knowing it."

| 22. [27:22] | Famakatha ghayra baAAeedin faqala ahattubima lam tuhit bihi waji/tuka min saba-inbinaba-in yaqeenin | فمكث غير بعيد فقال أحطت بما لم تحط به وجئتك من سبإ بنبإ يقين فَمَكَثَ غَيْرَ بَعِيدٍ فَقَالَ أَحَطتُ بِمَا لَمْ تُحِطْ بِهِ وَجِئْتُكَ مِن سَبَإٍ بِنَبَإٍ يَقِينٍ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | پس وہ تھوڑی ہی دیر (باہر) ٹھہرا تھا کہ اس نے (حاضر ہو کر) عرض کیا: مجھے ایک ایسی بات معلوم ہوئی ہے جس پر (شاید) آپ مطلع نہ تھے اور میں آپ کے پاس (ملکِ) سبا سے ایک یقینی خبر لایا ہوں | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | But the Hoopoe tarried not far: he (came up and) said: "I have compassed (territory) which thou hast not compassed, and I have come to thee from Saba with tidings true.

[27:19] | Fatabassama dahikan min qawlihawaqala rabbi awziAAnee an ashkura niAAmataka allateeanAAamta AAalayya waAAala walidayya waan aAAmala salihantardahu waadkhilnee birahmatika fee AAibadikaalssaliheena | فتبسم ضاحكا من قولها وقال رب أوزعني أن أشكر نعمتك التي أنعمت علي وعلى والدي وأن أعمل صالحا ترضاه وأدخلني برحمتك في عبادك الصالحين فَتَبَسَّمَ ضَاحِكًا مِّن قَوْلِهَا وَقَالَ رَبِّ أَوْزِعْنِي أَنْ أَشْكُرَ نِعْمَتَكَ الَّتِي أَنْعَمْتَ عَلَيَّ وَعَلَى وَالِدَيَّ وَأَنْ أَعْمَلَ صَالِحًا تَرْضَاهُ وَأَدْخِلْنِي بِرَحْمَتِكَ فِي عِبَادِكَ الصَّالِحِينَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | تو وہ (یعنی سلیمان علیہ السلام) اس (چیونٹی) کی بات سے ہنسی کے ساتھ مسکرائے اور عرض کیا: اے پروردگار! مجھے اپنی توفیق سے اس بات پر قائم رکھ کہ میں تیری اس نعمت کا شکر بجا لاتا رہوں جو تو نے مجھ پر اور میرے والدین پر انعام فرمائی ہے اور میں ایسے نیک عمل کرتا رہوں جن سے تو راضی ہوتا ہے اور مجھے اپنی رحمت سے اپنے خاص قرب والے نیکوکار بندوں میں داخل فرما لے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | So he smiled, amused at her speech; and he said: "O my Lord! so order me that I may be grateful for Thy favours, which thou hast bestowed on me and on my parents, and that I may work the righteousness that will please Thee: And admit me, by Thy Grace, to the ranks of Thy righteous Servants."

| 24. [27:23] | Innee wajadtu imraatan tamlikuhum waootiyatmin kulli shay-in walaha AAarshun AAatheemun | إني وجدت امرأة تملكهم وأوتيت من كل شيء ولها عرش عظيم إِنِّي وَجَدتُّ امْرَأَةً تَمْلِكُهُمْ وَأُوتِيَتْ مِن كُلِّ شَيْءٍ وَلَهَا عَرْشٌ عَظِيمٌ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | میں نے (وہاں) ایک ایسی عورت کو پایا ہے جو ان (یعنی ملکِ سبا کے باشندوں) پر حکومت کرتی ہے اور اسے (ملکیت و اقتدار میں) ہر ایک چیز بخشی گئی ہے اور اس کے پاس بہت بڑا تخت ہے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | "I found (there) a woman ruling over them and provided with every requisite; and she has a magnificent throne.

[27:24] | Wajadtuha waqawmaha yasjudoonalilshshamsi min dooni Allahi wazayyana lahumu alshshaytanuaAAmalahum fasaddahum AAani alssabeeli fahumla yahtadoona | وجدتها وقومها يسجدون للشمس من دون الله وزين لهم الشيطان أعمالهم فصدهم عن السبيل فهم لا يهتدون وَجَدتُّهَا وَقَوْمَهَا يَسْجُدُونَ لِلشَّمْسِ مِن دُونِ اللَّهِ وَزَيَّنَ لَهُمُ الشَّيْطَانُ أَعْمَالَهُمْ فَصَدَّهُمْ عَنِ السَّبِيلِ فَهُمْ لَا يَهْتَدُونَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | میں نے اسے اور اس کی قوم کو اللہ کی بجائے سورج کو سجدہ کرتے پایا ہے اور شیطان نے ان کے اَعمالِ (بد) ان کے لئے خوب خوش نما بنا دیئے ہیں اور انہیں (توحید کی) راہ سے روک دیا ہے سو وہ ہدایت نہیں پا رہے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | "I found her and her people worshipping the sun besides Allah: Satan has made their deeds seem pleasing in their eyes, and has kept them away from the Path,- so they receive no guidance,-

[27:25] | Alla yasjudoo lillahi allatheeyukhriju alkhabaa fee alssamawati waal-ardiwayaAAlamu ma tukhfoona wama tuAAlinoona | ألا يسجدوا لله الذي يخرج الخبء في السماوات والأرض ويعلم ما تخفون وما تعلنون أَلَّا يَسْجُدُوا لِلَّهِ الَّذِي يُخْرِجُ الْخَبْءَ فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَيَعْلَمُ مَا تُخْفُونَ وَمَا تُعْلِنُونَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اس لئے (روکے گئے ہیں) کہ وہ اس اللہ کے حضور سجدہ ریز نہ ہوں جو آسمانوں اور زمین میں پوشیدہ (حقائق اور موجودات) کو باہر نکالتا (یعنی ظاہر کرتا) ہے اور ان (سب) چیزوں کو جانتا ہے جسے تم چھپاتے ہو اور جسے تم آشکار کرتے ہو | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | "(Kept them away from the Path), that they should not worship Allah, Who brings to light what is hidden in the heavens and the earth, and knows what ye hide and what ye reveal.

| Tahir ul Qadri | اللہ کے سوا کوئی لائقِ عبادت نہیں (وہی) عظیم تختِ اقتدار کا مالک ہے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | "Allah!- there is no god but He!- Lord of the Throne Supreme!"

| Tahir ul Qadri | (سلیمان علیہ السلام نے) فرمایا: ہم ابھی دیکھتے ہیں کیا تو سچ کہہ رہا ہے یا توجھوٹ بولنے والوں سے ہے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | (Solomon) said: "Soon shall we see whether thou hast told the truth or lied!

| 29. [27:28] | Ithhab bikitabee hathafaalqih ilayhim thumma tawalla AAanhum faonthurmatha yarjiAAoona | اذهب بكتابي هذا فألقه إليهم ثم تول عنهم فانظر ماذا يرجعون اذْهَب بِّكِتَابِي هَذَا فَأَلْقِهْ إِلَيْهِمْ ثُمَّ تَوَلَّ عَنْهُمْ فَانظُرْ مَاذَا يَرْجِعُونَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | میرا یہ خط لے جا اور اسے ان کی طرف ڈال دے پھر ان کے پاس سے ہٹ آپھر دیکھ وہ کس بات کی طرف رجوع کرتے ہیں | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | "Go thou, with this letter of mine, and deliver it to them: then draw back from them, and (wait to) see what answer they return"...

| 30. [27:29] | Qalat ya ayyuha almalaoinnee olqiya ilayya kitabun kareemun | قالت يا أيها الملأ إني ألقي إلي كتاب كريم قَالَتْ يَا أَيُّهَا الْمَلَأُ إِنِّي أُلْقِيَ إِلَيَّ كِتَابٌ كَرِيمٌ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | (ملکہ نے) کہا: اے سردارو! میری طرف ایک نامۂ بزرگ ڈالا گیا ہے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | (The queen) said: "Ye chiefs! here is delivered to me - a letter worthy of respect.
