FaAAaqarooha faqalatamattaAAoo fee darikum thalathata ayyamin thalikawaAAdun ghayru makthoobin فعقروها فقال تمتعوا في داركم ثلاثة أيام ذلك وعد غير مكذوب
فَعَقَرُوهَا فَقَالَ تَمَتَّعُواْ فِي دَارِكُمْ ثَلاَثَةَ أَيَّامٍ ذَلِكَ وَعْدٌ غَيْرُ مَكْذُوبٍ

  پھر انہوں نے اسے (کونچیں کاٹ کر) ذبح کر ڈالا، صالح (علیہ السلام) نے کہا: (اب) تم اپنے گھروں میں (صرف) تین دن (تک) عیش کرلو، یہ وعدہ ہے جو (کبھی) جھوٹا نہ ہوگا
