بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ

Thumma baAAathnahum linaAAlama ayyualhizbayni ahsa lima labithoo amadan ثم بعثناهم لنعلم أي الحزبين أحصى لما لبثوا أمدا
ثُمَّ بَعَثْنَاهُمْ لِنَعْلَمَ أَيُّ الْحِزْبَيْنِ أَحْصَى لِمَا لَبِثُوا أَمَدًا

  پھر ہم نے انہیں اٹھا دیا کہ دیکھیں دونوں گروہوں میں سے کون اس (مدّت) کو صحیح شمار کرنے والا ہے جو وہ (غار میں) ٹھہرے رہے

Ahmed Aliپھر ہم نے انہیں اٹھایا تاکہ معلوم کریں کہ دونوں جماعتوں میں سے کس نے یاد رکھی ہے جتنی مدت وہ رہے
