Faman khafa min moosinjanafan aw ithman faaslaha baynahum falaithma AAalayhi inna Allaha ghafoorun raheemun فمن خاف من موص جنفا أو إثما فأصلح بينهم فلا إثم عليه إن الله غفور رحيم
فَمَنْ خَافَ مِن مُّوصٍ جَنَفًا أَوْ إِثْمًا فَأَصْلَحَ بَيْنَهُمْ فَلاَ إِثْمَ عَلَيْهِ إِنَّ اللّهَ غَفُورٌ رَّحِيمٌ

  پس اگر کسی شخص کو وصیّت کرنے والے سے (کسی کی) طرف داری یا (کسی کے حق میں) زیادتی کا اندیشہ ہو پھر وہ ان کے درمیان صلح کرادے تو اس پر کوئی گناہ نہیں، بیشک اﷲ نہایت بخشنے والا مہربان ہے

Yousuf AliBut if anyone fears partiality or wrong-doing on the part of the testator, and makes peace between (The parties concerned), there is no wrong in him: For Allah is Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful.

Fateh Muhammad Jalandharyاگر کسی کو وصیت کرنے والے کی طرف سے (کسی وارث کی) طرفداری یا حق تلفی کا اندیشہ ہو تو اگر وہ (وصیت کو بدل کر) وارثوں میں صلح کرادے تو اس پر کچھ گناہ نہیں۔ بےشک خدا بخشنے والا (اور) رحم والا ہے

Abul Ala Maududiالبتہ جس کو یہ اندیشہ ہو کہ وصیت کرنے والے نے نادانستہ یا قصداً حق تلفی کی ہے، اور پھر معاملے سے تعلق رکھنے والوں کے درمیان وہ اصلاح کرے، تو اس پر کچھ گناہ نہیں ہے، اللہ بخشنے والا اور رحم فرمانے والا ہے

MalikBut there is no blame on the one who suspects an error or an injustice on the part of the testator and brings about a settlement among the parties. Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.[182]

QXP Shabbir Ahemd**(The one who makes a will, the testator, is likely to make errors of omission or commission.) So, if anyone, who has heard the will, fears from a testator some bias or diminishing of a due right, and then makes proper adjustments to bring about an amicable and acceptable settlement between the concerned parties, he will not be harming his own character. Verily, Allah is Absolver of imperfections, Merciful. ('Ithm' = A dragging violation that harms the human personality or potential).
