Thalika huda Allahiyahdee bihi man yashao min AAibadihi walaw ashrakoolahabita AAanhum ma kanoo yaAAmaloona ذلك هدى الله يهدي به من يشاء من عباده ولو أشركوا لحبط عنهم ما كانوا يعملون
ذَلِكَ هُدَى اللّهِ يَهْدِي بِهِ مَن يَشَاءُ مِنْ عِبَادِهِ وَلَوْ أَشْرَكُواْ لَحَبِطَ عَنْهُم مَّا كَانُواْ يَعْمَلُونَ

  یہ اللہ کی ہدایت ہے وہ اپنے بندوں میں سے جسے چاہتا ہے اس کے ذریعے رہنمائی فرماتا ہے، اور اگر (بالفرض) یہ لوگ شرک کرتے تو ان سے وہ سارے اعمالِ (خیر) ضبط (یعنی نیست و نابود) ہو جاتے جو وہ انجام دیتے تھے

Yousuf AliThis is the guidance of Allah: He giveth that guidance to whom He pleaseth, of His worshippers. If they were to join other gods with Him, all that they did would be vain for them.

Ahmed Aliیہ الله کی ہدایت ہے اپنے بندوں کو جسے چاہے اس پر چلاتا ہے اور اگر یہ لوگ شرک کرتے تو البتہ جو کچھ انہوں نے کیا تھا سب کچھ ضائع ہو جاتا
Ahmed Raza Khanیہ اللہ کی ہدایت ہے کہ اپنے بندوں میں جسے چاہے دے، اور اگر وہ شرک کرتے تو ضرور ان کا کیا اکارت جاتا،
Shabbir Ahmed یہ ہدایت ہے اللہ کی، راہ دکھاتا ہے اس کے ذریعہ سے وہ جس کو چاہے اپنے بندوں میں سے۔ لیکن اگر کہیں شرک کیا انہوں نے تو غارت ہوجائیں گے اُن کے وہ سب اعمال جو کیے تھے اُنہوں نے۔
Fateh Muhammad Jalandharyیہ خدا کی ہدایت ہے اس پر اپنے بندوں میں سے جسے چاہے چلائے۔ اور اگر وہ لوگ شرک کرتے تو جو عمل وہ کرتے تھے سب ضائع ہوجاتے
Mehmood Al Hassanیہ اللہ کی ہدایت ہے اس پر چلاتا ہے جسکو چاہے اپنے بندوں میں سے اور اگر یہ لوگ شرک کرتے تو البتہ ضائع ہو جاتا جو کچھ انہوں نے کیا تھا
Abul Ala Maududiیہ اللہ کی ہدایت ہے جس کے ساتھ وہ اپنے بندوں میں سے جس کی چاہتا ہے رہنمائی کرتا ہے لیکن اگر کہیں ان لوگوں نے شرک کیا ہوتا تو ان کا سب کیا کرایا غارت ہو جاتا

LiteralThat (is) God's guidance, He guides with it whom He wills/wants from His worshippers/slaves, and if they shared/made partners (with God), what they were making/doing/working would have been wasted/invalidated from them.
Yusuf AliThis is the guidance of Allah: He giveth that guidance to whom He pleaseth, of His worshippers. If they were to join other gods with Him, all that they did would be vain for them.
PickthalSuch is the guidance of Allah wherewith He guideth whom He will of His bondmen. But if they had set up (for worship) aught beside Him, (all) that they did would have been vain.
Arberry That is God's guidance; He guides by it whom He will of His servants; had they been idolaters, it would have failed them, the things they did.

SarwarSuch is the guidance of God by which He guides whichever of His servants He wants. If people worship idols, their deeds will be turned devoid of all virtue.
H/K/SaheehThat is the guidance of Allah by which He guides whomever He wills of His servants. But if they had associated others with Allah, then worthless for them would be whatever they were doing.
MalikThis is the guidance from Allah; He bestows it upon whom He pleases of His devotees. If they had committed shirk (worshiped anyone else besides Allah) all their deeds would have become void.[88]

QXP Shabbir Ahemd**This is the Guidance of Allah. He guides His servants according to His Laws (4:88). If they had associated others with Allah, their actions would have been vain.
