| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |
| 1. [7:146] | Saasrifu AAan ayatiyaallatheena yatakabbaroona fee al-ardi bighayri alhaqqiwa-in yaraw kulla ayatin la yu/minoo bihawa-in yaraw sabeela alrrushdi la yattakhithoohusabeelan wa-in yaraw sabeela alghayyi yattakhithoohusabeelan thalika bi-annahum kaththaboo bi-ayatinawakanoo AAanha ghafileena |  سأصرف عن آياتي الذين يتكبرون في الأرض بغير الحق وإن يروا كل آية لا يؤمنوا بها وإن يروا سبيل الرشد لا يتخذوه سبيلا وإن يروا سبيل الغي يتخذوه سبيلا ذلك بأنهم كذبوا بآياتنا وكانوا عنها غافلينسَأَصْرِفُ عَنْ آيَاتِيَ الَّذِينَ يَتَكَبَّرُونَ فِي الْأَرْضِ بِغَيْرِ الْحَقِّ وَإِن يَرَوْاْ كُلَّ آيَةٍ لاَّ يُؤْمِنُواْ بِهَا وَإِن يَرَوْاْ سَبِيلَ الرُّشْدِ لاَ يَتَّخِذُوهُ سَبِيلاً وَإِن يَرَوْاْ سَبِيلَ الْغَيِّ يَتَّخِذُوهُ سَبِيلاً ذَلِكَ بِأَنَّهُمْ كَذَّبُواْ بِآيَاتِنَا وَكَانُواْ عَنْهَا غَافِلِينَ | |||||

| Tahir ul Qadri | میں اپنی آیتوں (کے سمجھنے اور قبول کرنے) سے ان لوگوں کو باز رکھوں گا جو زمین میں ناحق تکبر کرتے ہیں اور اگر وہ تمام نشانیاں دیکھ لیں (تب بھی) اس پر ایمان نہیں لائیں گے اور اگر وہ ہدایت کی راہ دیکھ لیں (پھر بھی) اسے (اپنا) راستہ نہیں بنائیں گے اور اگر وہ گمراہی کا راستہ دیکھ لیں (تو) اسے اپنی راہ کے طور پر اپنالیں گے، یہ اس وجہ سے کہ انہوں نے ہماری آیتوں کو جھٹلایا اور ان سے غافل بنے رہے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Those who behave arrogantly on the earth in defiance of right - them will I turn away from My signs: Even if they see all the signs, they will not believe in them; and if they see the way of right conduct, they will not adopt it as the way; but if they see the way of error, that is the way they will adopt. For they have rejected our signs, and failed to take warning from them.

| QXP Shabbir Ahemd** | The Law stands* that those who are proud on earth without justification will turn away from My revelations. Even if they went through the entire script, and saw clear evidence of the Truth, their arrogance will keep them from believing. When they see the right guidance, they do not accept it, but they readily accept straying. This is because they choose to preemptively deny Our Revelations and to remain unaware of the wisdom in them.
