| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[3:14] | Zuyyina lilnnasi hubbualshshahawati mina alnnisa-i waalbaneenawaalqanateeri almuqantarati mina alththahabiwaalfiddati waalkhayli almusawwamati waal-anAAamiwaalharthi thalika mataAAu alhayatialddunya waAllahu AAindahu husnualmaabi |  زين للناس حب الشهوات من النساء والبنين والقناطير المقنطرة من الذهب والفضة والخيل المسومة والأنعام والحرث ذلك متاع الحياة الدنيا والله عنده حسن المآبزُيِّنَ لِلنَّاسِ حُبُّ الشَّهَوَاتِ مِنَ النِّسَاءِ وَالْبَنِينَ وَالْقَنَاطِيرِ الْمُقَنطَرَةِ مِنَ الذَّهَبِ وَالْفِضَّةِ وَالْخَيْلِ الْمُسَوَّمَةِ وَالْأَنْعَامِ وَالْحَرْثِ ذَلِكَ مَتَاعُ الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا وَاللّهُ عِندَهُ حُسْنُ الْمَآبِ | |||||

| Tahir ul Qadri | لوگوں کے لئے ان خواہشات کی محبت (خوب) آراستہ کر دی گئی ہے (جن میں) عورتیں اور اولاد اور سونے اور چاندی کے جمع کئے ہوئے خزانے اور نشان کئے ہوئے خوبصورت گھوڑے اور مویشی اور کھیتی (شامل ہیں)، یہ (سب) دنیوی زندگی کا سامان ہے، اور اﷲ کے پاس بہتر ٹھکانا ہے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Fair in the eyes of men is the love of things they covet: Women and sons; Heaped-up hoards of gold and silver; horses branded (for blood and excellence); and (wealth of) cattle and well-tilled land. Such are the possessions of this world's life; but in nearness to Allah is the best of the goals (To return to).

[4:27] | WaAllahu yureedu an yatoobaAAalaykum wayureedu allatheena yattabiAAoona alshshahawatian tameeloo maylan AAatheeman | والله يريد أن يتوب عليكم ويريد الذين يتبعون الشهوات أن تميلوا ميلا عظيما وَاللّهُ يُرِيدُ أَن يَتُوبَ عَلَيْكُمْ وَيُرِيدُ الَّذِينَ يَتَّبِعُونَ الشَّهَوَاتِ أَن تَمِيلُواْ مَيْلاً عَظِيمًا | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اور اللہ تم پر مہربانی فرمانا چاہتا ہے، اور جو لوگ خواہشاتِ (نفسانی) کی پیروی کر رہے ہیں وہ چاہتے ہیں کہ تم راہِ راست سے بھٹک کر بہت دور جا پڑو | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Allah doth wish to Turn to you, but the wish of those who follow their lusts is that ye should turn away (from Him),- far, far away.

| 3. [19:59] | Fakhalafa min baAAdihim khalfun adaAAooalssalata waittabaAAoo alshshahawatifasawfa yalqawna ghayyan | فخلف من بعدهم خلف أضاعوا الصلاة واتبعوا الشهوات فسوف يلقون غيا فَخَلَفَ مِن بَعْدِهِمْ خَلْفٌ أَضَاعُواْ الصَّلاَةَ وَاتَّبَعُواْ الشَّهَوَاتِ فَسَوْفَ يَلْقَوْنَ غَيًّا | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | پھر ان کے بعد وہ ناخلف جانشین ہوئے جنہوں نے نمازیں ضائع کردیں اور خواہشاتِ (نفسانی) کے پیرو ہوگئے تو عنقریب وہ آخرت کے عذاب (دوزخ کی وادئ غی) سے دوچار ہوں گے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | But after them there followed a posterity who missed prayers and followed after lusts soon, then, will they face Destruction,-
