| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[7:193] | Wa-in tadAAoohum ila alhuda layattabiAAookum sawaon AAalaykum adaAAawtumoohum am antum samitoona |  وإن تدعوهم إلى الهدى لا يتبعوكم سواء عليكم أدعوتموهم أم أنتم صامتونوَإِن تَدْعُوهُمْ إِلَى الْهُدَى لاَ يَتَّبِعُوكُمْ سَوَاءٌ عَلَيْكُمْ أَدَعَوْتُمُوهُمْ أَمْ أَنتُمْ صَامِتُونَ | |||||

| Tahir ul Qadri | اور اگر تم ان کو (راہِ) ہدایت کی طرف بلاؤ تو تمہاری پیروی نہ کریں گے۔ تمہارے حق میں برابر ہے خواہ تم انہیں (حق و ہدایت کی طرف) بلاؤ یا تم خاموش رہو | ||||||

| 2. [7:198] | Wa-in tadAAoohum ila alhuda layasmaAAoo watarahum yanthuroona ilayka wahumla yubsiroona | وإن تدعوهم إلى الهدى لا يسمعوا وتراهم ينظرون إليك وهم لا يبصرون وَإِن تَدْعُوهُمْ إِلَى الْهُدَى لاَ يَسْمَعُواْ وَتَرَاهُمْ يَنظُرُونَ إِلَيْكَ وَهُمْ لاَ يُبْصِرُونَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اور اگر تم انہیں ہدایت کی طرف بلاؤ تو وہ سن (بھی) نہیں سکیں گے، اور آپ ان (بتوں) کو دیکھتے ہیں (وہ اس طرح تراشے گئے ہیں) کہ تمہاری طرف دیکھ رہے ہیں حالانکہ وہ (کچھ) نہیں دیکھتے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | If thou callest them to guidance, they hear not. Thou wilt see them looking at thee, but they see not.

[35:14] | In tadAAoohum la yasmaAAoo duAAaakumwalaw samiAAoo ma istajaboo lakum wayawma alqiyamatiyakfuroona bishirkikum wala yunabbi-oka mithlu khabeerin | إن تدعوهم لا يسمعوا دعاءكم ولو سمعوا ما استجابوا لكم ويوم القيامة يكفرون بشرككم ولا ينبئك مثل خبير إِن تَدْعُوهُمْ لَا يَسْمَعُوا دُعَاءَكُمْ وَلَوْ سَمِعُوا مَا اسْتَجَابُوا لَكُمْ وَيَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ يَكْفُرُونَ بِشِرْكِكُمْ وَلَا يُنَبِّئُكَ مِثْلُ خَبِيرٍ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | (اے مشرکو!) اگر تم انہیں پکارو تو وہ (بت ہیں) تمہاری پکار نہیں سُن سکتے اور اگر (بالفرض) وہ سُن لیں تو تمہیں جواب نہیں دے سکتے، اور قیامت کے دن وہ تمہارے شِرک کا بالکل انکار کر دیں گے، اور تجھے خدائے باخبر جیسا کوئی خبردار نہ کرے گا | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | If ye invoke them, they will not listen to your call, and if they were to listen, they cannot answer your (prayer). On the Day of Judgment they will reject your "Partnership". and none, (O man!) can tell thee (the Truth) like the One Who is acquainted with all things.

[42:13] | SharaAAa lakum mina alddeeni mawassa bihi noohan waallathee awhaynailayka wama wassayna bihi ibraheemawamoosa waAAeesa an aqeemoo alddeena walatatafarraqoo feehi kabura AAala almushrikeena matadAAoohum ilayhi Allahu yajtabee ilayhi man yashaowayahdee ilayhi man yuneebu | شرع لكم من الدين ما وصى به نوحا والذي أوحينا إليك وما وصينا به إبراهيم وموسى وعيسى أن أقيموا الدين ولا تتفرقوا فيه كبر على المشركين ما تدعوهم إليه الله يجتبي إليه من يشاء ويهدي إليه من ينيب شَرَعَ لَكُم مِّنَ الدِّينِ مَا وَصَّى بِهِ نُوحًا وَالَّذِي أَوْحَيْنَا إِلَيْكَ وَمَا وَصَّيْنَا بِهِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَمُوسَى وَعِيسَى أَنْ أَقِيمُوا الدِّينَ وَلَا تَتَفَرَّقُوا فِيهِ كَبُرَ عَلَى الْمُشْرِكِينَ مَا تَدْعُوهُمْ إِلَيْهِ اللَّهُ يَجْتَبِي إِلَيْهِ مَن يَشَاءُ وَيَهْدِي إِلَيْهِ مَن يُنِيبُ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اُس نے تمہارے لئے دین کا وہی راستہ مقرّر فرمایا جس کا حکم اُس نے نُوح (علیہ السلام) کو دیا تھا اور جس کی وحی ہم نے آپ کی طرف بھیجی اور جس کا حکم ہم نے ابراھیم اور موسٰی و عیسٰی (علیھم السلام) کو دیا تھا (وہ یہی ہے) کہ تم (اِسی) دین پر قائم رہو اور اس میں تفرقہ نہ ڈالو، مشرکوں پر بہت ہی گراں ہے وہ (توحید کی بات) جس کی طرف آپ انہیں بلا رہے ہیں۔ اللہ جسے (خود) چاہتا ہے اپنے حضور میں (قربِ خاص کے لئے) منتخب فرما لیتا ہے، اور اپنی طرف (آنے کی) راہ دکھا دیتا ہے (ہر) اس شخص کو جو (اللہ کی طرف) قلبی رجوع کرتا ہے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | The same religion has He established for you as that which He enjoined on Noah - the which We have sent by inspiration to thee - and that which We enjoined on Abraham, Moses, and Jesus: Namely, that ye should remain steadfast in religion, and make no divisions therein: to those who worship other things than Allah, hard is the (way) to which thou callest them. Allah chooses to Himself those whom He pleases, and guides to Himself those who turn (to Him).
