[13:2] | Allahu allathee rafaAAa alssamawatibighayri AAamadin tarawnaha thumma istawa AAalaalAAarshi wasakhkhara alshshamsa waalqamara kullunyajree li-ajalin musamman yudabbiru al-amra yufassilu al-ayatilaAAallakum biliqa-i rabbikum tooqinoona | الله الذي رفع السماوات بغير عمد ترونها ثم استوى على العرش وسخر الشمس والقمر كل يجري لأجل مسمى يدبر الأمر يفصل الآيات لعلكم بلقاء ربكم توقنون اللّهُ الَّذِي رَفَعَ السَّمَاوَاتِ بِغَيْرِ عَمَدٍ تَرَوْنَهَا ثُمَّ اسْتَوَى عَلَى الْعَرْشِ وَسَخَّرَ الشَّمْسَ وَالْقَمَرَ كُلٌّ يَجْرِي لِأََجَلٍ مُّسَمًّى يُدَبِّرُ الْأََمْرَ يُفَصِّلُ الْآيَاتِ لَعَلَّكُم بِلِقَاءِ رَبِّكُمْ تُوقِنُونَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اور اﷲ وہ ہے جس نے آسمانوں کو بغیر ستون کے (خلا میں) بلند فرمایا (جیسا کہ) تم دیکھ رہے ہو پھر (پوری کائنات پر محیط اپنے) تختِ اقتدار پر متمکن ہوا اور اس نے سورج اور چاند کو نظام کا پابند بنا دیا، ہر ایک اپنی مقررہ میعاد (میں مسافت مکمل کرنے) کے لئے (اپنے اپنے مدار میں) چلتا ہے۔ وہی (ساری کائنات کے) پورے نظام کی تدبیر فرماتا ہے، (سب) نشانیوں (یا قوانینِ فطرت) کو تفصیلاً واضح فرماتا ہے تاکہ تم اپنے رب کے روبرو حاضر ہونے کا یقین کر لو | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Allah is He Who raised the heavens without any pillars that ye can see; is firmly established on the throne (of authority); He has subjected the sun and the moon (to his Law)! Each one runs (its course) for a term appointed. He doth regulate all affairs, explaining the signs in detail, that ye may believe with certainty in the meeting with your Lord.

| Tahir ul Qadri | وہ رات کو دن میں داخل فرماتا ہے اور دن کو رات میں داخل فرماتا ہے اور اس نے سورج اور چاند کو (ایک نظام کے تحت) مسخرّ فرما رکھا ہے، ہر کوئی ایک مقرر میعاد کے مطابق حرکت پذیر ہے۔ یہی اﷲ تمہارا رب ہے اسی کی ساری بادشاہت ہے، اور اس کے سوا تم جن بتوں کو پوجتے ہو وہ کھجور کی گٹھلی کے باریک چھلکے کے (بھی) مالک نہیں ہیں | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | He merges Night into Day, and he merges Day into Night, and he has subjected the sun and the moon (to his Law): each one runs its course for a term appointed. Such is Allah your Lord: to Him belongs all Dominion. And those whom ye invoke besides Him have not the least power.

| Tahir ul Qadri | اُس نے آسمانوں اور زمین کو صحیح تدبیر کے ساتھ پیدا فرمایا۔ وہ رات کو دن پر لپیٹتا ہے اور دن کو رات پر لپیٹتا ہے اور اسی نے سورج اور چاند کو (ایک نظام میں) مسخّر کر رکھا ہے، ہر ایک (ستارہ اور سیّارہ) مقرّر وقت کی حد تک (اپنے مدار میں) چلتا ہے، خبردار! وہی (پورے نظام پر) غالب، بڑا بخشنے والا ہے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | He created the heavens and the earth in true (proportions): He makes the Night overlap the Day, and the Day overlap the Night: He has subjected the sun and the moon (to His law): Each one follows a course for a time appointed. Is not He the Exalted in Power - He Who forgives again and again?
