[4:32] | Wala tatamannaw ma faddalaAllahu bihi baAAdakum AAala baAAdinlilrrijali naseebun mimma iktasaboowalilnnisa-i naseebun mimma iktasabnawais-aloo Allaha min fadlihi inna Allahakana bikulli shay-in AAaleeman |  ولا تتمنوا ما فضل الله به بعضكم على بعض للرجال نصيب مما اكتسبوا وللنساء نصيب مما اكتسبن واسألوا الله من فضله إن الله كان بكل شيء عليماوَلاَ تَتَمَنَّوْاْ مَا فَضَّلَ اللّهُ بِهِ بَعْضَكُمْ عَلَى بَعْضٍ لِّلرِّجَالِ نَصِيبٌ مِّمَّا اكْتَسَبُواْ وَلِلنِّسَاءِ نَصِيبٌ مِّمَّا اكْتَسَبْنَ وَاسْأَلُواْ اللّهَ مِن فَضْلِهِ إِنَّ اللّهَ كَانَ بِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ عَلِيمًا | |||||

| Tahir ul Qadri | اور تم اس چیز کی تمنا نہ کیا کرو جس میں اللہ نے تم میں سے بعض کو بعض پر فضیلت دی ہے، مردوں کے لئے اس میں سے حصہ ہے جو انہوں نے کمایا، اور عورتوں کے لئے اس میں سے حصہ ہے جو انہوں نے کمایا، اور اللہ سے اس کا فضل مانگا کرو، بیشک اللہ ہر چیز کو خوب جاننے والا ہے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | And in no wise covet those things in which Allah Hath bestowed His gifts More freely on some of you than on others: To men is allotted what they earn, and to women what they earn: But ask Allah of His bounty. For Allah hath full knowledge of all things.

[60:10] | Ya ayyuha allatheena amanooitha jaakumu almu/minatu muhajiratinfaimtahinoohunna Allahu aAAlamu bi-eemanihinnafa-in AAalimtumoohunna mu/minatin falatarjiAAoohunna ila alkuffari la hunna hillunlahum wala hum yahilloona lahunna waatoohumma anfaqoo wala junaha AAalaykum an tankihoohunnaitha ataytumoohunna ojoorahunna walatumsikoo biAAisami alkawafiri wais-aloo maanfaqtum walyas-aloo ma anfaqoo thalikum hukmuAllahi yahkumu baynakum waAllahuAAaleemun hakeemun | يا أيها الذين آمنوا إذا جاءكم المؤمنات مهاجرات فامتحنوهن الله أعلم بإيمانهن فإن علمتموهن مؤمنات فلا ترجعوهن إلى الكفار لا هن حل لهم ولا هم يحلون لهن وآتوهم ما أنفقوا ولا جناح عليكم أن تنكحوهن إذا آتيتموهن أجورهن ولا تمسكوا بعصم الكوافر واسألوا ما أنفقتم وليسألوا ما أنفقوا ذلكم حكم الله يحكم بينكم والله عليم حكيم يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا إِذَا جَاءَكُمُ الْمُؤْمِنَاتُ مُهَاجِرَاتٍ فَامْتَحِنُوهُنَّ اللَّهُ أَعْلَمُ بِإِيْمَانِهِنَّ فَإِنْ عَلِمْتُمُوهُنَّ مُؤْمِنَاتٍ فَلَا تَرْجِعُوهُنَّ إِلَى الْكُفَّارِ لَا هُنَّ حِلٌّ لَّهُمْ وَلَا هُمْ يَحِلُّونَ لَهُنَّ وَآتُوهُم مَّا أَنفَقُوا وَلَا جُنَاحَ عَلَيْكُمْ أَن تَنكِحُوهُنَّ إِذَا آتَيْتُمُوهُنَّ أُجُورَهُنَّ وَلَا تُمْسِكُوا بِعِصَمِ الْكَوَافِرِ وَاسْأَلُوا مَا أَنفَقْتُمْ وَلْيَسْأَلُوا مَا أَنفَقُوا ذَلِكُمْ حُكْمُ اللَّهِ يَحْكُمُ بَيْنَكُمْ وَاللَّهُ عَلِيمٌ حَكِيمٌ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اے ایمان والو! جب تمہارے پاس مومن عورتیں ہجرت کر کے آئیں تو انہیں اچھی طرح جانچ لیا کرو، اللہ اُن کے ایمان (کی حقیقت) سے خوب آگاہ ہے، پھر اگر تمہیں اُن کے مومن ہونے کا یقین ہو جائے تو انہیں کافروں کی طرف واپس نہ بھیجو، نہ یہ (مومنات) اُن (کافروں) کے لئے حلال ہیں اور نہ وہ (کفّار) اِن (مومن عورتوں) کے لئے حلال ہیں، اور اُن (کافروں) نے جو (مال بصورتِ مَہر اِن پر) خرچ کیا ہو وہ اُن کو ادا کر دو، اور تم پر اس (بات) میں کوئی گناہ نہیں کہ تم اِن سے نکاح کر لو جبکہ تم اُن (عورتوں) کا مَہر انہیں ادا کر دو، اور (اے مسلمانو!) تم بھی کافر عورتوں کو (اپنے) عقدِ نکاح میں نہ روکے رکھو اور تم (کفّار سے) وہ (مال) طلب کر لو جو تم نے (اُن عورتوں پر بصورتِ مَہر) خرچ کیا تھا اور وہ (کفّار تم سے) وہ (مال) مانگ لیں جو انہوں نے (اِن عورتوں پر بصورتِ مَہر) خرچ کیا تھا، یہی اللہ کا حکم ہے، اور وہ تمہارے درمیان فیصلہ فرما رہا ہے، اور اللہ خوب جاننے والا بڑی حکمت والا ہے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | O ye who believe! When there come to you believing women refugees, examine (and test) them: Allah knows best as to their Faith: if ye ascertain that they are Believers, then send them not back to the Unbelievers. They are not lawful (wives) for the Unbelievers, nor are the (Unbelievers) lawful (husbands) for them. But pay the Unbelievers what they have spent (on their dower), and there will be no blame on you if ye marry them on payment of their dower to them. But hold not to the guardianship of unbelieving women: ask for what ye have spent on their dowers, and let the (Unbelievers) ask for what they have spent (on the dowers of women who come over to you). Such is the command of Allah: He judges (with justice) between you. And Allah is Full of Knowledge and Wisdom.
